New Release ~ Home With You ~ by ~ Claudia Burgoa & Grahame Claire

An imaginary hedgehog fairy made me famous. A blizzard made me fall in love.

Home with You, an all new second chance holiday romance from USA Today bestselling authors Claudia Burgoa and Grahame Claire, is available now!

When I was a kid I used to doodle pictures of my best friend. Well, my best imaginary friend: Harley the Hedgehog Fairy. Turns out that making up stories about her catapulted me into children’s book stardom.

Now I’m living my dream and working from home. I’d rather spend my time creating stories than face the real world. Except, my agent has other plans. He’s booked me on a signing tour across the country. Six weeks outside of my comfort zone.

I thought that was painful – until I saw Morgan Bradford entering a bookstore holding the hand of a little girl. He told me he didn’t want commitment.

But I guess he didn’t want commitment with me. After five painful minutes, I see him off and hope we never cross paths again. I’m not that lucky.

A blizzard, a car accident and a concussion send me back to Winter Valley… And under Morgan’s care.

Maybe I am that lucky.

Contemporary Romance; Small Town Romance

It wasn’t fair that the man I hated with a passion was so freaking gorgeous.

Things in Layla Fox’s life were going great. She had a fantastic job, amazing friends, and a killer apartment. There was just one tiny glitch in all that perfect. Her upstairs neighbor was the very definition of tall, dark, and handsome . . . and she hated the man with every cell in her body.

Jude Kingsley was the most arrogant jerk she’d ever met, making the fact that she was attracted to him more than a little inconvenient.

When the two of them are forced together by Jude’s meddling grandmother, the bitter rivalry between the two feuding neighbors suddenly turns into something very different. And a raw, intense chemistry like theirs is bound to explode if they aren’t careful.

The doors of the elevator slid open and the good mood I’d been in all day evaporated like a single drop of water falling onto desert sand.

“Of freaking course,” I grumbled sullenly as Jude Kingsley stepped into the elevator.

He returned my glare before stopping beside me and turned to face the front. “And I’d been having such a good day up to this point,” he muttered bitterly.

I let out a snort and fluttered my eyelashes. “What, did you pop a little kid’s balloon? Maybe cut in front of a pregnant lady in line at the coffee shop?” I snapped my fingers. “Oh, I know! You kicked a poor, innocent puppy on the sidewalk. That’s what had you so chipper, isn’t it?”

He gave me a smirk, and damn it, why did it have to look so good on him? The son of a bitch.

“I woke up happy,” he stated, and it would have been a lie if I claimed I didn’t find that admission somewhat intriguing.

Turning to face me, he took a step toward me, closing some of the distance between us. The move was unexpected, and my heartrate spiked at his closeness. The small elevator car suddenly felt even tinier, like the walls were closing in. The air was filled with his scent. Something like cedar and sun mixed with a spicy musk that reminded me of the outdoors. My chest stuttered on a choppy inhale when I tilted my head back to look up at him. In all the months we’d been enemies, this had to be the first time we’d been so close to each other.

With hardly any space between us, I was able to see that those midnight blue eyes of his also held flecks of golden honey. He blinked slowly as he stared down at me, those long, sooty lashes lying across his sharp cheekbones before he opened them again.

“I had the best dream last night.” He stopped, waiting for me to ask what he dreamed about, like he knew that statement and his proximity had left me way off-kilter, my curiosity piqued.

Stupid intuitive jerk.

Unable to help myself, I arched a questioning brow. “Oh?”

His voice dropped lower, taking on an almost velvety soft quality. “Yeah. You were in it, princess.”

My skin felt tingly, my mouth was Sahara dry. I didn’t feel like myself all of a sudden. It was almost as if he’d cast a spell, and I was just along for the ride, unable—or maybe unwilling at that point—to take control back. It was those eyes, man. Those freaking dark, alluring, sexy bedroom eyes. There wasn’t a woman in the world who’d be able to resist their power up close. Not even me.

I tried to swallow past the cotton taking up residence in my throat and croaked, “What—what was your dream about?”

He started speaking in a tone that could only be described as intoxicating. “Well, you see, it was a beautiful, sunny day, and we were standing on the sidewalk outside the building. You were in these jeans that made your ass look incredible.” His tongue peeked out and swiped across his plump bottom lip. “I couldn’t stop staring. Then . . . ”

I was straight up enraptured at that moment.

Oh my God. What is happening right now? “Then what?”

“Then . . . you stepped off the curb and got hit by a bus.” It was like a bucket of ice water being dumped over my head. Whatever voodoo he was working broke right then, and I remembered instantly that I wanted this man to die by a thousand papercuts—preferable by my hand.

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.

Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.

In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.

Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.

The last day of our babymoon coincides with the one-year anniversary of our vow renewal wedding. I originally thought our trip was to mark the occasion. So I brought my gift for Lachlan hidden in my handbag.

When he comes out of the shower with a towel slung low around his narrow hips and his treasure trail dipping beneath it, I nearly forget my thought. His chuckle as he dries his hair with another towel brings my focus back from the outline of his big dick beneath the terrycloth.

I blink, and he laughs some more as he drops the towels to the white tile floor.

“See something you crave, My Lady?” He asks as his dick bobs with each step towards me.

Mutely I nod. Then squeak when he pounces onto the bed. He lands on his hands and knees on either side of my legs, with his face inches from mine. He rubs his nose to mine and purrs.

“Tell me your wish, My Lady,” he demands.

I palm the sides of his face and whisper, “Forever and a day with you, My Lord.”

His eyes shine before he slants his mouth over mine. The kiss is deep and full of emotion. When he passes for a breath, I press my finger to his lips.

He cocks his eyebrow.

I smile as I reach behind my pillow and lift the gift-wrapped box between us.

“What’s this?” He asks as he takes the box and sits beside me.

I grin wider and respond, “Happy vow renewal wedding anniversary, My Lord!”

He drops his head back with a groan.

“I was so focused on your—I mean our babymoon, today’s date slipped past me. Do you forgive me?”

I pretend to pout but can’t hold back my giggles.

“Of course! Don’t be silly,” I answer. “Now, open your present.”

My husband pulls the green and blue ribbon and ties it in a bow around my neck. Then he kisses me and tells me I’m the only present he’ll ever want before he winks and tears through the metallic green paper.

He pauses when the green box for Rolex watches appears.

“Go on!” I urge.

He nods and presses the closure. Then gapes.

“It’s the 1971 Cosmograph Daytona Reference 6265, also known as ‘The Unicorn.’ Do you know why I choose it for you?” I ask, so excited I grin like a loon.

He shakes his head.

“It’s the only known white gold, manual-winding Daytona ever crafted by Rolex. So it’s extremely rare. Just like you, and our love that withstood years of us being apart only for us to be together forever. Not only are you the hero in my childhood fantasies. But you are the unicorn in my real life. I love you, Lachlan Jackson,” I say.

My words end on a sob. But it’s not from the hormones. I truly love my man with all of my heart.

Tears in his eyes match mine as he pulls me onto his lap and buries his face in my neck. His shoulders shake as he cries softly against my skin. Instinctively, I stroke his back and hum the Scottish lullaby he taught to me. It soothes him when, moments later, he sits back and cups my face.

“You, Haley Jackson, are my life and my soul. The mother of my children. I honor you and I love you for all of eternity,” he says gruffly.

Through my tears, I repeat his words, changing them for his name and father.

We spend the rest of the morning in bed, honoring and loving one another.

And as I expected, we have the most ah-mazing babymoon ever!

“Why are you here again?” Officer Brandon Wyle asked me, his chair squeaking as he shifted his lean, lanky figure into a more comfortable position. His dark hair was longer than he normally wore it, curling around his collar and into curtain bangs that he absentmindedly brushed off his forehead. I found myself wondering if this was a new hairstyle, or if he kept forgetting to make an appointment with a stylist. His expression was carefully blank, but his dark eyes didn’t miss a thing.

I hadn’t quite figured it out myself, but was doing my best to sound more confident than I felt. The longer I sat there, the more convinced I was that it was a huge mistake. But at that point, it would have been even worse if I’d left, so I had to brazen my way through it. “She’s my client,” I said, which was true. She had bought some tea from me. Once. “And you’ve seen her condition.”

Wyle’s eyebrows went up. “Condition? You mean her pregnancy?”

“Exactly. Stress isn’t good for mothers-to-be. Well, stress isn’t good for any of us, but it’s especially not good when you’re pregnant. And she’s already dealing with the stress of losing her husband …”

“Who she likely poisoned,” Wyle said.

Now it was my turn to raise eyebrows. “Are you saying she’s a suspect?”

More squeaking as he moved again. We were sitting by his desk, which was tucked away in the corner of the police station. The room was too hot—Wyle had mentioned there was something wrong with the heater—but the combination of the heat, cigarette smoke, and the burnt-coffee-old-sweat odor made my stomach turn. Even though we weren’t alone, no one appeared to be paying any attention to us. The constant collective noise of the phone ringing, typewriters clacking, and people talking filled the space. “Oh come on, Charlie. You’re smarter than this. Everyone is a suspect in the beginning. Heck, you even made the list.”

I was aghast. “Me?”

“Yes, you. Don’t you think it’s pretty suspicious you’re even in here?”

“I never even met Dennis,” I said.

“You don’t need to meet the guy to sell his wife some poison.”

“I don’t sell poison,” I said firmly, deciding I would definitely not be mentioning Courtney’s request for something to kill her husband to Wyle. “I sell teas and tinctures.”

“Uh huh.” Wyle tapped his pen on his notebook, which was balanced precariously on top of a stack of paperwork. His eyes continued to study me.

New Release ~ Destiny’s Calling ~ by ~ Tracy Broemmer

Rae stumbles into a bar and finds herself twenty years in the past. When she falls in love with Chip and decides to stay in the year 1980, she gets thrust back to her present. Can Rae get back to Chip, if only to say goodbye? Readers who enjoy Christina Lauren and Emma St. Clair, will love Destiny’s Calling by Tracy Broemmer, a time travel, romantic comedy.

Blurb

In the year 2000, Rae Warner is an up-and-coming attorney, with a pretty quiet social life. She’s been out on a couple of lukewarm dates with a new guy, and she’s (not terribly) excited about where it might go. So when she stumbles into what she thinks is Barney’s Tavern in 2000 to grab a quick bite to eat and a cold drink on the way to a meeting and collides with blond, muscle-bound Chip Andrews and realizes she is actually in the Hi Hat Tavern in 1980, she fantasizes about never going home. What’s wrong with staying in 1980? Everything, of course! Her life is in 2000. Her big brother (who’s most likely responsible for sending her back twenty years in time,) her career, and her home are in 2000. However, as long as she’s here, and blond, muscle-bound Chip wants to flirt with her, it won’t hurt to flirt back, will it? Rae soon realizes she’s not very good at casual flirting, and the more time she and Chip spend together, the more she likes him. Not just his blond, muscle-bound good looks, but his smile and the fact that he likes to dance and he likes pina coladas and the way he makes her laugh… What would it hurt to stay in 1980? Rae finds it harder and harder to remember why she needs to get back to her life, to 2000. She might be in love with Chip Andrews, so maybe she could just stay in his time and find happiness with him. Except, suddenly, she finds herself back on Broadway standing outside Barney’s Tavern…in the year 2000. Instead of being happy to be home, Rae is desperate to get back to 1980 for just one last kiss…So, how does she convince her brother that she really did jump from 2000 to 1980 and back to 2000 and how in the world can she get back to Chip, if only to say goodbye?

Rae groans as she collides with what feels like a brick wall. She looks up, unnerved to find herself face to face with a drop-dead gorgeous kid. He looks like he could be romance novel cover model material with his longish, dirty blond hair that curls around his neck and his ears. His brown eyes. Rae is so close to him, she can see tiny little flecks of gold in them. His tanned face looks soft, but the line of his jaw is firm. Five o’clock shadow covers his lower jaw and chin. Rae finds herself wondering what that five o’clock shadow would feel like if he kissed her. Maybe if he kissed her neck. Her stomach. Embarrassed, she ducks her head again. What on earth is wrong with her? Fantasizing about kissing a total stranger, one who doesn’t even look legal to be in a bar as a matter of fact. She swallows hard, reminds herself she needs to get in touch with Charlie so she can get some cash to pay for her dinner. She really needs to eat. “Hi.” The kid’s voice is gravelly and sexy. Much too sexy for his age. And for her good. “Let me help you out,” he offers. “No, thank you. I just need to call my brother.” “Really,” he says and smiles as he reaches to pull a bill‐ fold from his pocket. “Lemme get it for you.” Rae watches as he pulls out the bills to cover her meal. She looks back at the bartender who is watching her with more interest than suspicion. He’s not concerned she’s going to bolt out the door without paying for the food she’s ordered. “Okay,” she concedes. “But let me go ahead and call Charlie. He can bring me the cash to pay you back before you go.” “Whatever.” Rae steps around him and remembers the feel of his body up against hers. Lean and hard with muscle. She shakes her head again and hurries to the back of the bar. Now this makes her nervous. Standing in the back of a tavern with a bunch of men in the room behind her and the men’s room two steps away. She might be a black belt, but she’s not too excited about needing to use those moves. She looks back over her shoulder. Money Boy is watching her. He offers her a reassuring smile. It should make her feel better that someone is watching her back. But she can’t help but picture his lips again, so soft-looking, and the five o’clock shadow and the way it might feel to kiss him. To hear his sexy voice say her name. A wave of heat tingles inside her. It starts in her belly and crawls lower. She feels it out to her fingertips. How ridiculous. It’s not like it’s even been that long since she’s seen Paul. Not like Paul has ever made you burn with anticipation over a simple kiss, either. “Stop it!” she hisses to herself. She digs for change and curses when she chips a nail. She drops the coins to assess the damage. A bit of the burgundy is now gone from the acrylic tip of her index finger. “Dammit!” “Everything okay, miss?” Money Boy calls. “Yes!” she snaps and then feels bad. He’s only trying to be helpful. “Thank you.”

The moment I met him I knew I was screwed.
It started with a sext.
An extremely hot, highly inappropriate sext during the wake for my best friend’s dad. That didn’t stop me from replying. From sneaking off to the bathroom, secretly hoping he would follow me.
And he did.
He staked his claim on me against the bathroom wall. Captured my moans with his kisses. And when it was over, I walked away knowing two things.
One – I wanted more.
Two – I couldn’t get involved with him.
He was dangerous to my heart. It was still healing from being destroyed two years earlier. And this man has the power to shatter it completely.
Still, I couldn’t stop myself from playing the game he started. Every sext was hotter than the last, tempting me to act on my desires. The first time we were alone, clothes went flying. There was no denying our chemistry as we collided. And in the heat of the moment, nothing else mattered.
Not my broken heart.
Not his reputation as a player.
Then the front door to my apartment opened… we were caught in the act. My roommate screamed. Her boyfriend growled. I cried. And he… he begged for more.
We needed to stop. One of us was going to get hurt – me! I was going to get hurt.
I should have known I couldn’t walk away from him. His promises sparked my curiosity. My body craved his attention.
It was his words that held me captive. They had the power to not only break my heart, but destroy my soul if I let him in.

Rina’s Reads – “Declan and Kendall’s chemistry was visible from the beginning, their spark inextinguishable, their attraction undeniable.”

Goodreads Review – “Welcome back to Lake Street University, and we are coming in hot! Declan and Kendall’s story is so steamy and they haven’t even done the deed yet!”

“K,” he says, taking a step in my direction. I match his movements, backing up until I’m pressed against the glass of the shower doors with nowhere else to go. “Why. Are. You. Avoiding. Me?”

His words are punctuated, his voice barely above a growl. When I flick my eyes to his, I see them filled with lust. Dark pools swirling with need.

Oh, hell.

He wants me and that can’t happen right now. There are at least twenty people downstairs. Our friends. Lo’s family. His family. Acting on anything would be a big mistake. We could get caught. Again.

“I-I’m n-not,” I stutter out, my voice barely audible.

Declan lifts one hand to cup my cheek, and I automatically lean into his touch before I can stop myself. His hand feels like fire against my skin and I love the way his touch burns me straight to my soul.

“You are, and I want to know why because whatever is going on between us is great, but it could be so much better.”

Rules, I remind myself. I have them for a reason. Reasons I can’t remember right now. Not when he’s standing this close. When my body is aching to be closer to him. For him to lean in and brush his lips across mine, to taste the watermelon chapstick I wore just for him.

“Yeah,” I say, sensations washing over me as I close my eyes, the rest of my body now warming from his simple touch.

“So much better,” he whispers, his voice sounding dangerously close. “Tell me you want this,” he pleads, his breath fanning across my lips. “Tell me I can kiss you, Kendall. It’s all I’ve been thinking about today. Your soft, delicate lips, wondering if they taste like watermelon or not.”

Oh, hell.

Opening my eyes, I immediately feel my knees go weak. Declan’s lips are inches from mine, his gaze seeking permission to close the distance. It’s like he read my mind, or maybe my body language. He knows what I want, but still we stare at each other for a few tense moments before I finally nod my head.

It’s all the assurance he needs before he presses his lips to mine. Gently at first. A soft caress. When I place my hand against his chest, gripping the front of his shirt, his restraint snaps and he deepens the kiss, his tongue demanding access. As soon as I finally grant it to him, he growls into my mouth.

Suddenly I’m being lifted by my ass, my legs wrap around his waist, my arms around his neck, and then he turns swiftly, my back hitting the wall with a resounding thud. I can feel his erection against my inner thigh, long and hard. But that’s not where I want it, so I wiggle in his arms as he continues to assault my mouth and position him at the junction of my legs.

The second he thrusts against my warm center we groan in unison.

“So. Much. Better,” Declan says against my mouth, his hips thrusting with every word.

She lives in Michigan with her husband, son, snuggly dog, and hateful cat. She moonlights a few days a week (her excuse to get out of the house and socialize) and writes almost full time. Her first book was published way back in 2013 and since she’s released more than 30 additional titles.

When she’s not writing her next novel, you can find her hanging out with her family, watching her son play baseball, or running on the treadmill at the gym (though she skips more days than she goes). She also enjoys golfing but is still learning, so if you see her on the course… stand back.
