Ashtyn Echols just made the most impulsive decision of her life. Maybe it’s a mistake, but it doesn’t feel like one. She can’t get married today. Not when she has her whole life ahead of her and a bucket list of things she wants to do before she ties herself down and becomes the perfect politician’s wife the way her family expects her to.

“Ride a motorcycle. Take a road trip. Get drunk. Dance on a bar. Correct me if I’m wrong but you knocked those out already. Why are you bothering to write them down?”
She shrugged, “I like checking things off to-do lists.”
That made him laugh, “Somehow that doesn’t surprise me.”
She continued, putting check marks by the things they’d done already. He could read most of the napkin even upside down. He smiled as he watched her write but when she paused and glanced back up at him from beneath her lashes, biting her bottom lip far too suggestively for his liking he felt heat curl in his belly and stomped it down immediately.
“Don’t you dare write one-night stand on that list, Ashtyn.”
She flushed a pretty shade of pink, “How did you know…”
“You mentioned it last night. Remember?”
That made her cringe, “Oh yeah… unfortunately I do.”
“Don’t put it on the list.”
She smirked, “But it is on my list.”
“Not this one.” He tried to glare at her but wasn’t sure the look worked for him when she only smiled in return. “It’s not going to happen.”
“Need I remind you that it’s my list, not yours?” She raised a perfect eyebrow.
“Need I remind you that we’re sharing a hotel room from here to Vegas so you’re not going to have much privacy.”
She looked offended, “You’re joking.”
“Not in the least.” He eyed the napkin and frowned. “You can mark skinny-dipping off that list too.”
“Oh come on!” she laughed, “It’ll be fun.”
“Give me the list.” He held out a hand but she jerked it away. “Ashtyn, give me the list.”
“Fine.” She handed it over and he snatched the pen from her as well.
He read through it again, noting everything that she had listed. When he glanced back up at her she was wiggling uncomfortably in her chair. He sighed and folded the napkin, putting it in his pocket.
“I will help you check everything on this list off that doesn’t require bodily harm or the potential to be arrested.”
She rolled her eyes, “And here I thought you took pride in being adventurous.”
“Every minute with you is exactly that, princess.” He winked playfully and then scooted to the edge of the booth. “Come on, if we’re going to get all this done, we can’t waste any more daylight.”

SYNOPSIS
When former Navy SEAL West Donovan trades high-stakes missions for the calm of the police department in sleepy Bluelick, Kentucky, he craves peace, quiet, and order. Catching sexy, law-bending Hitchiker Barbie by the roadside in the middle of a rainstorm—literally, she passes out in his arms—raises his chaos quotient into the red zone and leaves him determined to quantify this particular tumbleweed of trouble and send her rolling along her merry way ASAP.
Aspiring singer/songwriter Roxy Goodhart ventures to Bluelick to outrun her latest mistake. It’s a doozy involving a lying ex-manager, a dire lack of funds, and a teensy bit of grand larceny. Landing in the long, strong arms of the local law—a/k/a Officer Donovan—is no way to keep a low profile while she re-builds her ‘L.A. or bust’ fund. Accepting a temporary job that turns out to put her in West’s path every dang day also doesn’t help. Worst of all, the longer she sticks around, the more she wants to stay in West’s arms…forever.

Hunter Timing. Hockey careers are made or broken on it, and mine has taken an exceptionally broken road. I’m not a star. I’m a grinder, I work hard, and I’m finally at the point I can put the past behind me and get the fat, long-term contract I deserve.
But my agent—the man who stuck by me through every crash and burn—has had a heart attack. I need another agent now, or my one chance for the good money will slip through my fingers. Kate’s a rookie, but she loves the game like I do, so I pick up the phone. And I wonder if she remembers that one night in Cancun as vividly as I do.
Kate Hockey. All my life I’ve lived it, breathed it, played it. Now it’s my business. As an agent, I’m tied to my phone at all hours, but nothing prepared me to hear Hunter’s voice. The last time I saw him—three years ago—there was a lot of bare skin and horny hormones involved.
I’ve handled it all in my short career—sexism, harassment, being broke, being laughed at. Resisting the attraction between us should be easy. Until it isn’t. And Hunter’s past shakes his confidence hard enough that he could make the worst decision at the worst possible time…

“So,” I said after a few minutes of silence where we each sipped our coffee and ate what was in front of us, “are you vacationing near here?” Jasper tilted his head, and a smile curled the edges of his mouth. “You could say that. I’m staying with my dad.” I blinked at him. “And your dad is renting a house near here?” He laughed. Laughed! “Uh, no. He owns it.” I blinked at him again. “Oh. Did he move here recently?” Jasper tilted his head and I caught what looked like surprise widening his eyes slightly. “Do you know who I am?” I considered his question for a few moments, knowing that if he was asking me that then he was probably someone that was well known around here. But I was drawing a blank. Besides my friendship with Ruby and Vicky, I didn’t get out in town too much. I knew people, of course, because of going to events, working in the library, and being drug out to different festivals. But I wouldn’t consider anyone that I met in that way to be a friend. “You’re Jasper?” I finally said, not sure what else I should say. My tone was definitely questioning. He gave one sharp, quick laugh before shaking his head. “I’m Jasper Sutton.” I stared at him after his declaration. “I’m Charlie Drake.” If he was going to introduce himself like that, then I could too. His eyes narrowed. “No, I’m Jasper Sutton.” I wasn’t sure why he was putting emphasis on his name, but I was also realizing that his name did sound familiar. I just wasn’t sure why. “Okay…” I said slowly. “Nice to meet you.” Silence stretched between us before he asked, “You know, the name on the sign coming into town?” I studied him as I tried to recall the sign. I passed it every day, but I was to the point of not even noticing it anymore. But I remembered what he was referring to. The Welcome to Spring Hills sign also had a part that said Home of Jasper Sutton on it. My brow furrowed. “Were you named after someone famous?” He said nothing for a few moments before he started laughing. Hard. I shifted in my seat as he laughed, watching as he rubbed a hand over his face and hunched over the table. I wasn’t too sure why he was laughing; I just knew it was at me. I glanced around the cafe and saw that people were staring at him laughing and grew even more uncomfortable. Jasper slowly stopped laughing and shook his head, wheezing. “Are you for real?” “About what?” I asked, though I wasn’t too sure I wanted to know what he was asking. At this point, I wasn’t sure I wanted to be on this date or whatever it was for too much longer. “You really don’t know who I am?” I shook my head. He blinked at me before saying, “I’m Jasper Sutton. The name on the sign is mine. It was put there when I got drafted.” The drafted statement made me pause, but I couldn’t dwell on it too long because he kept talking. “You’ve been to the Tasty Freeze? Ever seen the Jasper on the menu? It’s the milkshake they named after me because it’s my favorite. What about the Burger Barn? The Jasper there is my favorite meal.” I stared at him. I probably shouldn’t have said what I said next, but my mind was short circuiting because all I could think of was the fact that he said he’d been drafted. Drafted for what? “I thought Jasper Sutton was some old guy that had died in a war sometime.”

What would you risk for love?
Would you Cross the Stars?
Steal the Moon?
Steal the Moon is the conclusion to the suspense-filled contemporary romance Crossing Stars Duet series that began with Cross the Stars.
Raj and Ella crossed the ill-fated stars for a forbidden love, jeopardizing everything for one another. But what if the dangers ahead are too great, the tragedies too painful, the threats too deadly to save true love? Would you steal the moon and sacrifice everything, even yourself, to rescue the love of your life?
The cruel fate that divided Raj and Ella has come for them with a vengeance, destiny wrought with cruel twists and brutal turns intent on keeping them apart. Devastating deceptions, unimaginable betrayal, and inconceivable secrets are the relentless framework of their fight against fate. With so much against them, will they have enough strength to see the destiny they’ve created by crossing the stars, or will Raj and Ella’s turbulent relationship and love succumb to a tragic end?
Reminiscent of the timeless stories of love against all odds, Raj and Ella’s story is one of rebellion and sacrifice–giving all of yourself to claim the love and destiny you desire, no matter the cost.

Ella and Raj-
As his tears fall and his body trembles against his silent cries, all I want to do is hold him, make this pain in him go away. I rest my lips against his softly. He pulls back and shakes his head, whispering against my lips, ”I need you, Ella. Like I need air.”
Hearing the torture in his voice, I bring my hands to his face as he slides his down my arms, running his lips against mine. “I want you with me always.”
His hands are around my waist, pressing me against him. “To know you’ll never leave my sight again. Tell me. Tell me you won’t leave.”
His body touching mine, his lips resting and lifting on mine, make my heart race with need. I can’t tell him what he wants. Can’t tell him that I won’t ever leave, because it is inevitable that when we get back to Jordan, our time is limited. The love we share will expire. My tears have fallen to my chin and he reaches up and wipes it with the pad of his thumb before cupping my face again. I can’t lie to him, but I can tell him what we both need right now.
“I’m here. I’m right here.”
I hold him to me as his breath quickens to match mine. He’s laying kisses in my hair as he whispers in Arabic, “Habibati. Qalbi. Ruwhi. Shamsi.”
His lips move to my ear, resting kisses there as he makes his way to my cheek, while I translate his Arabic whispers, “My love. My heart. My soul. My sun.”
When his lips touch the corner of my mouth, his slow seduction is my undoing, igniting the familiar fire only he can stoke in me. Our lips take greedily and my body responds the same, wanting to feel every part of him against every part of me even if the ache of my broken rib flares. I don’t care. All I want is him touching me, holding me, kissing me, taking me.

She was everything he never knew he needed.
He was everything she avoided.
💗
It’s not the first time I’ve been called a stalker.
I can’t blame Andrew Christiansen for thinking that since we keep crossing paths, especially when I pop up in the most unexpected of places—his office.
We’re opposites in every way. Not the kind that attract.
I’ve been called a ray of sunshine. He’s been called a grumpy workaholic that needs an attitude adjustment. By me.
Somehow, we become friends, the teasing, flirting, and kissing kind. But this thing blooming between us threatens to turn this relationship from friends-to-lovers into a full-blown office romance.
That’s the least of my worries because one or two, little, okay big, secrets I’ve been keeping may turn him from the one I want into the one I can’t have.
I hear a familiar bark and turn back. The woman from the park rushes toward the nearest shop as if I didn’t just bust her for following me. “What are you doing?” I ask. “Are you stalking me?” I might be jumping ahead of myself, but better to settle it now. A lot of weird stuff was happening at the park. Is she to blame?
Despite Rascal’s joy to see me, obstinance stiffens her shoulders, and she scoffs. “You wish.” Her hand flies out. “It just so happens that I’m walking in the same direction. So what?”
“Defensive,” I reply, analyzing her body language. Crossed arms. Straight line across her lips. Half-mast eyelids as she glares at me.
“I’m not defensive. I’m offended. You just called me a stalker.”
“My bad.”
“You’re bad, all right.” She angles her chin up, and adds, “You can go about your day now.”
I’m tempted to chuckle, but I’m thinking it’s wise to restrain myself. “I will. Good day.”
“Good day, sir,” she says to my back as I walk away.
I stop again, but this time, I don’t look back. Forcing myself to walk forward, I continue through the upscale neighborhood to the next block. I busy my attention on the architecture until I hear Rascal bark again.
I knew I shouldn’t have talked to a stranger. She may be hot, but she could also be deranged, using her dog as a ploy to trick her next victim to her lair. What am I even talking about?
When I turn back this time, she sidles quickly up to a coffee shop window, pretending to know the people sitting on the other side.
By how they turn their backs to her, they don’t reciprocate. “Nice try,” I tease.
Glancing at me, she huffs. “I’m walking in the same direction. It’s no big deal, for God’s sake.” She punctuates the words with an epic eye roll as if I’m putting her out. Huffing, she grabs Rascal, clutching him to her side.
“His feet have—”
“Shit.”
“Exactly.”
Anger fills her chest, and she shakes her head, exhaling it loudly with a foot stomp. “Ugh! I’ll go this way.”
As. If. I’m the nuisance.
Me?
Why am I even sticking around to have this conversation? Why am I bothering? Going in different directions—that’s us. She crosses the street, and I turn the corner, both of us heading back to our own lives and hopefully never seeing each other again.
I continue toward the building up ahead alone. I’m good. I’m fine. Alone is how I thrive. I’ll be here a year or two. That’s nothing. I have plenty of work to keep me busy.
Work.
I’m here for work. That’s it. I have a plan in place, and nothing and no one will keep me from achieving my goals.

Juni and Drew are so perfect together! Juni is the relaxing that Drew so desperately needs! Drew is so wound up and tied into the business of being a CEO of a company. Juni is just a huge sweetheart who ends up being the best thing in Drew’s life. Juni is so carefree and just a genuinely happy soul. Of course she has her own secrets but she is also so different than anyone that Drew has met.
I was immediately sucked into Juni and Drew’s chemistry from the jump! Drew with his uptight, business, CEO attitude and Juni with her whimsical nature just were everything! Juni trying not to be a stalker and Drew assuming she was, at least partly. It was just a perfect meeting/friendship for them.
I really loved the Christiansen family. Drew’s family immediately embraced Juni, and she totally needed that. She needed the family that she was missing. And it was so great to read that they were immediately welcoming and loving towards Juni.
5 stars!

He was cold, callous, and rude. He was also the most gorgeous man she’d ever laid eyes on, which made the fact that he’d hated her from first sight all the more unfair.
When circumstances dictate they put their swords away so Marin can help Pierce take care of his son, that ice-cold hate suddenly takes a turn into something much hotter. And if they aren’t careful, they could both be burned alive.

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.
In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.
Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.
