I loved reading each of these stories and falling a little for each of the men. Jack in Halloween Treats has been in love with his nephew’s teacher since he first saw her. Review ~ Behind Closed Doors ~ by ~ Lisa Renee Jones

This book was such a great read and unlike anything I’ve read before! There was romance, suspense with a dash of a thriller in it! Tickled all my buttons.

Skye got taken along by her friend Ella into purchasing a storage unit at auction. Think Storage Wars if you need a visual.

Skye doesn’t have the money for this but her friend convinces her it can pay off HUGE. Well while Skye is trying to find ANYTHING in the unit that she can make her $700 back on, she finds a curious note and a bus station locker key.
Hoping the key will hold some hidden valuables, she sets off for the bus station. And runs into Jason, whom she dubs ‘Trouble’ in her head. And boy was she right! Soon she’s chased by Jason, convinced to go to Vegas, on this hunt for whatever Jason is looking for.

This book was a surprise, parts threw me off and some just made me love Jason. I haven’t read the books in the Careless Whispers series so Ella remains somewhat illusive for me but I will be rectifying that soon!!

I love me a mafia book and Ciro is to die for! Not literally but he is pretty darn swoony! He loves Scarlett but doesn’t want her tied up in his mafia life so he pushes her away. He doesn’t want to tie her to him but he doesn’t want her getting into a relationship with anyone else. And he will make certain that doesn’t happen.

Scarlett is a pistol! She gives as good as she gets and she makes me think of Mob Wives for some reason. A woman who won’t take things lying down and go meekly away. And Vito, her dad, loves her for that. She is the stronger of the twins and the one Vito relies on looking out for her twin.

I love these strong women books and mix in a hot, huge, alpha and I’m all over it! I definitely can’t wait for more of this series! I’m curious if Victoria gets her happy ending or if we hear about their brother Cristiano….

Allison is done with running all these non-work errands and odd jobs for Darian King. She gets called at all hours, does things that aren’t related to her job, works long hours and is just over putting her job and Darian first. She’s just working on her perfect resignation when Darian asks her for yet another personal favor: planning his sister’s wedding in a month.

This was a funny, sweet story and a quick read for me – maybe that’s because it was at work…. Anywho, I loved the storyline and Ali and Darian’s relationship.

Ok if you’ve read the Bitten Series (you haven’t, WHY the eff not?), you might wonder how the whole vampire/witch/werewolf thing started. Well this is the answer to your questions! Although, it did make me want to read more of the Bitten Series and those couples. 🙂

I’m not one for paranormal (this and KA’s Fantasyland Series are about all I read) but this book explains how everything got started but not in a hugely “this would NEVER happen” a total fantasy way. Which is one thing I am grateful for!! IF things like this could happen, you could totally see it in how CC lays it out. I can’t wait for more!!

Whenever I see a Virna DePaul book, I MUST read it! I have loved every book I’ve read of hers and Down Deep wasn’t any different, even though it was football and I’m not football girl.

Heath is your typical NFL player, cocky, arrogant, and WAY too self-confident. Camille just knows that he is going to be the same douchebag he was in high school. Heath remembers Camille and is determined that she knows he’s changed and he’s now the guy for her.

Lots of laughs in this book and a great start to a new series!

I liked how you get to read more than just the 2 characters perspectives. But you know whose POV you’re reading so you aren’t confused and trying to figure it out. I can’t wait to read more!
