Good things come in extra-large, smoking hot packages.

Things like pizza.

The very pizzas that I deliver for my dad’s restaurant, Peretti’s Pizza. It’s a temporary job, something to pay the bills until I graduate from school, but it does the trick. In fact, it’s working quite well until Ryan Pierce of the LA Lightning decides to order a pizza from me, and life as I know it turns upside down.

You see, Ryan Pierce doesn’t just open his front door. He opens it buck naked. And suddenly, I’m not the one boasting the biggest, hottest package in the room. However, it’s what happens next that makes my stomach flip upside down whenever my phone beeps. Ryan starts to call, and then text, and then fifteen pizza deliveries and one hot-as-sin kiss later, we’re friends with benefits.

So when he asks me to be his fake girlfriend at his brother’s wedding, I’m happy to help. But the longer we pretend, the more I worry that this is one package I might not be able to handle.

This was such a sweet story! Ryan and Andi’s story isn’t conventional but that’s what makes it work. I definitely want to read more of this series!!

Andi is working for her father’s pizza place delivering pizzas while she’s going to school and working on becoming a comedienne. She’s on one such delivery when she knocks on the door and sees Ryan Pierce, hockey player, in nothing but a towel.

Ryan isn’t like most athletes and isn’t into the puck bunnies anymore. He’s also working on a deal with a new agent that will bring him to play for Los Angeles where his brother lives. He likes Andi and has a good time with her and so he invites her to be his pretend date to his brother’s wedding in a couple months. But pretend isn’t always easy, especially when the man is swoony like Ryan is.

Holy wow this book! Thank goodness my boss was gone for the afternoon because I couldn’t stop reading! Jace and Lucy are just constant tension. And who doesn’t like a truckload of sexual tension??

Poor Lucy has to move home after getting a divorce, leaving her job and moves in with her mom. She’s applying for jobs when she comes across her old high school bane of her existence Jace. Jace is looking for someone to do his company’s marketing and how surprised he is when it’s his old high school “friend” that he loved to torment and tease and ruffle her feathers.

I hope there will be more to this series, I love the characters and I feel like Jamie needs to explain some of her behaviors from this story….

I love the Cinderella gets made over and suddenly the prince realizes she is exactly what he’s wanted. This is one of those stories.
Matt is confident – almost too much so – in his ability to pick up a woman. He’s attractive and he knows it. Bailey, his personal assistant, is reliable, but a bit plain. Matt has relied on Bailey to basically keep his life running with his company. So when he hears Bailey needing help, he steps in.
Matt is just doing a good deed for his assistant until he realizes that there’s more to her than he thought and can’t wait to learn more, no matter how he tries to fight it.
A great, funny read. Matt’s internal dialogue is almost A.D.D like but so easy to relate to.

Amazing continuation to WUTB! The story picks up right where WUTB left off and you get to read more of the dark, twisted world of Jude and Kate. Yes, Jude and Kate are assassins and kill people but there is so much more to them than just being a hired gun.

This story reminds me a little of Mr & Mrs Smith with Jude and Kate being assassins hiding in plain sight in Suburbia, USA.

Very well written story that I can’t wait to re-read and continue on in part 3!

You must read part 1 first! That is your only warning.

This part is just as dark as part 1 was. Except now Millie surely isn’t a nun anymore and she’s getting used to being the King of the Underworld’s Queen. Well sort of. She and Raze still have their issues. But over time, they are getting through them.

Millie certainly doesn’t take any of Raze’s crap and Raze treats her now as an equal and includes her in all the meetings he now has. Even his employees see that Millie has changed Raze, for the better. And Millie has certainly changed because of Raze.

This is a darker book, just as book 1 was but this one is more outwardly loving between Raze and Millie. This will be a re-read when I need a dark, book hangover.

Wade Freaking Knox!!! I was so excited for his story! And he’s just as gushy sweet as I thought he would be. I just love these huge, muscled, football guys who are big marshmallows. Plus I just love Monica Murphy’s writing! I see her name, I immediately have to sign up for the promotion, book, etc because I MUST know what she has coming out!!

Review ~ Catching Raindrops ~ by ~ H. D’Agostino

I love stories like this one. Where it’s the daughter of a football coach and she has a crush one of the players. Then they grow up. This story is so much more than that.

Emma Sutter has grown up around football and football players her whole life. Her dad is the high school football coach so football and/or other sports are in her blood. She has always been her dad’s princess and therefore boys were scared off of showing interest into Emma. So Emma goes away for college – to escape her father’s protectiveness.

Emma comes home suddenly due to events that happen in college and decides to spend the summer with her family. There she comes across Brock Foster – the boy Emma always had a crush on when she was a teenager. Brock is back home due to a football injury that ended his college football career.

This was a great book with some surprises I didn’t see coming. I can’t wait to see Aaron and Mel’s story!

This book is an emotional roller coaster. But from the blurb, you kinda expect it. I’m not going to tell you each of their stories and why they’re in Dear Life but just know that Dear Life is what brings them all together. Dear Life (and each other) help them to step out of the box, change their lives and help them grow past these events in their lives.

The letters truly offer you an insight into the character and their psyche. And of course the letters at the end – 1 in particular – are just so moving and special and you feel like you’ve been on these journeys with them.

A must-read! There are the traditional Meghan Quinn hilarious moments but there are also some real touching emotional, thought-provoking ones as well.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down.
