You don’t say anything, and I hate the silence between us. Maybe you’re trying to send a message. Maybe you’re into telepathy; I’m not sure. But I’m not afraid of this side of you, Jude. It’s always been the best part. And so when you push me against the wall, I go willingly. At least at first. Because I know you, and you’ve always enjoyed a bit of a fight.

You MUST read Water Under the Bridge (WUTB) first!!  
Amazing continuation to WUTB! The story picks up right where WUTB left off and you get to read more of the dark, twisted world of Jude and Kate. Yes, Jude and Kate are assassins and kill people but there is so much more to them than just being a hired gun.  
This story reminds me a little of Mr & Mrs Smith with Jude and Kate being assassins hiding in plain sight in Suburbia, USA.
Very well written story that I can’t wait to re-read and continue on in part 3!
