There is so much about this book that I absolutely LOVED! A geeky girl whose awkward. Crazy animals. A charming male. Hysterically funny housemates. And lots and lots of love and laughs.

Kira is back in Lunenberg, Nova Scotia to sell her grandmother’s B&B for her mom. She’s not expecting to meet the cast of characters that Lunenberg boasts. Or to find that her deceased grandma’s B&B is still running, on the honor system. I think Kira doesn’t realize that she truly wants a family and that’s exactly what she finds in Lunenberg.

Nate doesn’t plan on being anyone’s husband, and definitely no one’s father. He is in town to accomplish things for his father and not be the fisherman that Kira thinks he is. Although he’s totally fine with her liking him for being the fisherman and not a business tycoon.

I really really hope that this is the start of a series because I NEED more of Jason, Cody, Sam and Izzy!

I’m one of those people who has to read all the previous books in a series before reading a new book. So I went and purchased books 1-5 because I needed to meet Maizie Albright and all the characters in her life. And I am SO glad I did! While you can read this book as a standalone, you really should read the adventures of Maizie and how she is in Georgia trying to be a PI from being a former starlet.

I really loved reading about Maizie and her misadventures because I think I would be a PI like she would be. At least I hope so. Although I haven’t been a Hollywood actress, so that’s different – but either way, I find bits of myself in her.

This installment brings us more insight into Maizie and her relationships with Vicki, Boomer and even Nash. We find out a little more about how Maizie was treated in Hollywood by Vicki, how Maizie processes her feelings, while solving the mysteries that seem to always find her.

Holy slow burn with a flash fire! Whoo!! This took a bit to build up and grab my interest but just like when Jack got his confidence, he was irresistible!

Clementine is truly a Robin Hood. And I absolutely loved her and wanted to give her a hug. She’s very nice and has an honorable mission – if somewhat misguided.

Jack and Clementine are just 2 perfect puzzle pieces that fit together. From their pets, to their histories to their personalities. They both mesh together so well and I’m so glad I was able to read this story.

Just far warning, when Jack gets his mojo, get a fan handy! Just reading his dialogue can definitely cause a fire…

Oh how I needed this book! I needed to know how Savage and Candace navigate through this craziness and espionage that they’ve been living in. Oh I should say you MUST read books 1 and 2 first or this book won’t make any sense. Plus you have to get to know both Candace and Rick.

This whole series had me guessing the whole time. Who is on the “good” side, who is a liar, who can’t you trust? Who CAN you trust? This whole series makes you second guess everything you think you have figured out.

The only thing you can be sure of throughout this whole trilogy: that Rick Savage will protect Candace with everything he has.

Gah. Magnolia and Moses! So yes, this was a duet instead of a trilogy but don’t let that fool you! There’s just as much of Meghan March angst, drama and sexy times as there are in the trilogy – if not more!

Every story Meghan makes a male character I swear I won’t like and then I do. I just love how alpha and deep down loving of his partner he is. And Moses is DEFINITELY loving of Magnolia. He is from the very beginning of this duet and he continues to be it thorough the duet. Moses is totally a male character I could picture myself with. He was SO easy to fall for as you read his perspective through the duet.

And Magnolia’s story! She is so very strong and independent and sassy and I just love her to death! She’s done what she’s had to do to stay alive and she makes no apologies! And Moses is so proud of her and how much she’s accomplished. Swoon!

I haven’t read Elena Taylor before but after being thoroughly captivated by Bet Rivers, this is definitely not the last! Bet’s character is quite interesting. She’s a tough sheriff yet she’s also giving credence to the dreams/premonitions she has, which is traditionally not something law enforcement would do.

Bet came home to help her Sheriff dad out when he unexpectedly passes. So she ends up becoming the temporary sheriff in her former town. And Bet isn’t really sure about being back home in Washington. Her father was beloved as sheriff and Bet is constantly reminded of that and that she went to California, whether it’s from the secretary, deputies or even her dad’s dog. But Bet isn’t letting Collier and its inhabitants scare her away from solving the mystery.

I can’t wait for more of this series! And Bet!

If you’ve read other books in this series, specifically book 3, you’ve met Averly and Eli and the sparks they struck off each other. This is their story. Which they embody the ‘if there’s smoke, there’s fire’ trope. They both loved to annoy each other – at least Eli loved to annoy Averly – but love and hate are 2 sides of the same coin right?

I think everyone knew that Averly and Eli would end up together. There was just no way they could bug each other that much without having an underlying attraction. Reading their story makes you a little steamy with all their spark.

I love this town of Everton and all the inhabitants so much!

I’m so glad to get a better look into Sierra because after My Bestie’s Ex, I wasn’t a huge fan. I think that was intentional though. You had to really not like Sierra in book 1 so you could really appreciate her story and her falling for Adrian. And you fall a little for her also. You see how her personality is and why her and Ethan just wouldn’t work. And why she and Adrian would and do.

The story is mainly about Sierra and Adrian – which why can’t I get a prince to show up randomly??? – but you still see others in the Rooftop Crew, which I love a lot.

I cannot wait for more! I need Rian’s story STAT!!!! I’m invested at this point!

First, I love the name Naomi. Don’t know why, especially since there was a mean girl in my elementary school named Naomi, but who knows why we like things? Anywho, I love animals also, so this was a book I had to read, a cozy mystery with a woman named Naomi who goes on safari? I’m in!

Naomi has wanderlust and finds a great deal for a safari and drags her sister to go along with her. And then a fellow safari-er (what is the proper term?) is killed by hyenas – or was he??? Among other strange occurrences that make Naomi bust out her inner Nancy Drew, not always using legal means… But she gets the perpetrator and that’s what matters right?!

I can’t wait for more of this series! And Naomi.

She’s done it yet again! Meghan March has captured my attention immediately and completely! I absolutely loved Moses and Magnolia. Magnolia intrigued me in the Mount Trilogy so I am so glad to get to hear her story. Some people might be a little turned off when reading about a former madam – hey we all have a past and Magnolia did what she had to so she could survive.

Moses was the big enigma that always was in Magnolia’s mind, much as she didn’t want him there. 15 years have passed since they were together and Moses isn’t letting Magnolia go this time.

Meghan has such a way about her writing that makes me love a traditionally not loving character. Every character that I wouldn’t normally love, is a character that I truly feel and root for.

I can’t wait for the ending of the Duet!
