I close my eyes, remembering Maddox’s stormy grays this morning and the way he was watching me. I thought maybe by being gone for nine months that I would have gotten over this ridiculous notion that I’m in love with Maddox Walker, but nope seeing him again brought it all back, burning more intense than ever.
