Another one of D. Kelly’s Books that I couldn’t put down! As soon as I started it, I was hooked! And I am a HUGE fan of Declan. Plus I love the name Declan for a man. 
Holly and Declan have had quite the history. They’ve been friends for years and have been more for years. Until there’s a misunderstanding and they’re not a couple anymore. But Declan knows Holly is his one, so he’s going to win her back by any means necessary. 
Declan’s planning on winning Holly back is Hot!! You are really rooting for this alpha who has always loved Holly to get her back. 
An awesome, amazing story that I devoured at work (don’t tell) but I had to know about their story!!!

This book didn’t take me 6 days to read but I had to read other books first. I was too excited to get the conclusion that I had to start it! This review is not going to be super long but not because it’s not amazing, because there’s too many words to describe and they all would spoil this journey for you. And I HATE when people do that so I’m not going to be that guy. BUT good news, book 1 is currently free and book 2 is $.99. Do yourself a favor and buy them!

This book continues after the end of Side B so you need to read Side A & B first. Mel and all the BAD members have just suffered catastrophic events. This book was the ending I needed! This book and this series is so epic and so emotion-evoking, that this will give you a hangover. This book is so well written that you will feel ALL THE FEELS along with the characters.

One side note: there is some time jumping (prior events to today and back again) which normally would throw me off but it’s CRITICAL to this story and works beautifully!

I cannot express my love for this series and D. Kelly for reaching out so I could experience this and Amelia and the BAD members.

This story, this series is everything! You MUST read Side A first. Side B picks up right after Side A and it will make no sense unless you read it. Plus you meet the BAD boys and Mel and Belle (which I just realized rhyme) and just immediately get sucked in!

I told myself I was going to bed early last night. Yeah I shouldn’t have started reading this book then because I HAD to finish as soon as I started. This was a book that I was reading at work and then I got 73% in and I didn’t want to finish because I didn’t want the book to end. That’s the mark of a good book; you want to read it as fast as you can but at the same time you want to make it last because you don’t want it to end.

And just 1 phrase to wrap up the book: that cliffhanger though!! I can’t wait for the EP!

Review ~ Just An Illusion – Side A ~ by ~ D. Kelly

Dee Kelly reached out and told me about this release and I am SO glad she did!!!! Although I hate her a little for the cliffhanger and making me wait! I don’t want to ruin this book for anyone going to read it (because you should read it) but I will give you some bits.

Amelia is familiar with rock royalty and the celebrity lifestyle and that doesn’t impress her and she doesn’t want to be involved in it. Her best friend Belle, is dragging her to the BAD concert (Mel has no idea who they are) and they’re heading backstage for a backstage interview with the band. Mel is attracted to the twin bandmates (Sawyer and Noah) but doesn’t care about their celebrity. And that immediately strikes the band and they want Amelia to be their autobiographer on their tour.

This is the start of the story of Amelia and BAD and everything surrounding them.

5 stars!!
