This book is suspenseful and sexy and intriguing, I didn’t want it to end! Well I was glad the mystery part ended. This book was like Scandal in written form. There are so many twists and turns and you don’t know who is working with whom and who you can trust, etc. It was just a fun read!
Sam is a Metro D.C. Police Lieutenant who is also the Vice President’s wife. She is also a Lieutenant who is suspended and possibly will be charged for the assault of a fellow officer. For good reason but that’s not considered.
She is leaving the station to start her suspension when a stranger comes up to her wanting her help with a case. And if you’ve read any of the other Fatal books in the series, you know Sam can’t turn down a case. What she doesn’t expect is the maelstrom of events, political issues and jurisdictional issues that come along with this case.
If you’re a fan of funny, sexy mysteries, you’ll want to read this latest installment!
