A flash of blonde hair to his left caught his attention as he ran through the dark forest. His target—Trainee #429745—was close, but then he knew that already. His god powers were strongest in darkness, and his hearing, smell, even sight were amplified when night disadvantaged other hunters. He could hear her labored breaths echoing in his ears, could smell the lemony scent of her skin in his nostrils, but seeing the flash of long blonde hair had surprised him.

He hadn’t looked at her picture before he’d left Olympus for this hunt. He’d memorized her trainee number, read through her file and made mental notes of her trainers’ mostly average comments about her hand-to-hand combat and warfare skills. Had questioned the stupid guards she’d overpowered at the gates of Olympus when she’d fled, and who were now suffering their own just fates. Slipping into the truck, she didn’t say a word.
The drive back to her house was silent. It took less than ten minutes, but it felt like a fucking eternity.

“Is it something naughty?” I teased while following her up the stairs.
“No,” she replied with a lighthearted laugh. I could tell she was a little tipsy with the way she was walking. I had to admit it was nice to have a bit of lighter banter between us.
“You feel okay, pumpkin?” I asked, watching her ass as she climbed the stairs.
“Yeah. I think I drank more than I thought I did. I feel a bit lightheaded.”
My breathing increased with the idea of being in Paxton’s bedroom. My dick was already thinking of what it wanted to do, and I adjusted myself. But the moment we walked into her room and she turned on the lights, I knew it was going to be a battle keeping my hard on at bay.

 Lily has had a rough life but she makes her way through as best she can. Except for being dealthy afraid of being touched. Her friends have tried to help her but it just doesn’t work. Which also makes her crush on her best friend Adam even harder. She loves him but she couldn’t stand to be touched by him.  
Nikoli is the campus manwhore (don’t tell him that, he HATES it). He gets warned off chasing Lily but that just makes him want her more. And when he finds out she’s in love with her best friend, he makes a deal with her; he’ll help her for prurient reasons.   
I both loved Nik and hated him. He was the definition of manwhore but he was also the only one willing to put the time and effort in to helping Lily overcome her Haphephobia (fear of being touched – yes I Googled it).

After meeting Kade in Nik’s book, I wanted to hear his story. So I’m glad we got to. And got to see the end of the campus killer.  
Angel has been a bartender for years. She makes the mistake of taking a break outside and sees the campus killer dumping his latest victim. And he sees her. So now she’s a target for this serial killer.  
Kade has been in Boston helping to track down the campus killer when he gets a call that there is a witness now. Imagine his surprise when it’s someone he loved from his past.  
An intense, gripping thriller with Kade and Angel’s love story wrapped in it. I hope we see more from this family. I love these brothers!

So who am I? Well, I’m the crazy girl with an imagination that never shuts up. I LOVE scary movies. My friends laugh at me when I scare myself watching them and tells me to stop watching them, but who doesn’t love to get scared? I grew up in a small town nestled in the southern mountains of West Virginia where I spent days roaming around in the woods, climbing trees, and causing general mayhem. Nights I would stay up reading Nancy Drew by flashlight under the covers until my parents yelled at me to go to sleep.

 

Growing up in a small town, I learned a lot of values , I also learned parents have spies everywhere and there’s always someone to tell your mama you were seen kissing a particular boy on a particular day just a little too long. So when you get grounded, what is there left to do? Read! My Aunt Jo gave me my first real romance novel. It was titled Lord Margrave’s Deception. I remember it fondly. But I also learned I had a deep and abiding love of mysteries and anything paranormal. I started to write just that and would entertain my friends with stories featuring them as main characters.

 

 


 

Now, I live in a small town in WV where I entertain my niece and nephew and watch the cats get teased by the birds and laugh myself silly when they swoop down and then dive back up just out of reach.
