Maggie is a former baker – former because she had to close down her bakery but she still bakes. And has moved back in with her parents while trying to save money and figure out her next plan of action. In the meantime, she’s picking up individual gigs around town baking hilariously (in)appropriate cakes and cupcakes for the locals. That’s where she meets her former childhood crush who was also a teenage boy band member Drew.
Drew has moved back to town and is in to the producing side of the music biz when he runs, literally, into Maggie. Immediately sparks and dirty innuendos start flying and well you can just imagine what happens. But Maggie is not in town for the long haul and she knows Drew isn’t a long-term relationship guy. Right??

Anyway, Sauer is more of a shy guy, to the point he can barely form a sentence around attractive women. He’s attracted to the boisterous, flashy Dee but he knows she would never go for him because they are complete opposites. But that doesn’t stop him from wishing…
Dee is suddenly in need of police assistance and Sauer is the one who steps up and takes over. And this alpha Sauer turns Dee on, especially since he’s more shy and reserved. Except with her safety.
This was definitely my kind of read as there was romance, comedy, suspense. It was perfect for me and definitely will be a series I watch for – and go read the first 2 stories!

I love anything that has to do with romance. As long as there’s a happy ending, I’m a happy camper. I love baseball (Go Twins!) and creating awesome crafts. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, working in that field for several years before I became a stay-at-home mom. When I’m not hanging out with my wonderful family, I’m writing a sweet contemporary romance or a romantic suspense that keeps you guessing until the end. I have a few more amazing stories in the works. If you would like to connect with me or see important news, head to my website at http://www.amandasiegrist.com. Three shots later, I was leaning heavily against the door as I opened it to Nickel, and a hiccup escaped from my lips. I might have gone one shot too many. “Hey,” I whispered, my free hand saluting him.
Yeah, I just saluted Nickel. Kill me now.
He pushed his way into my apartment, his arm circling my waist, and he pulled me to his side as he closed the door behind us. “Baby girl, did you start the party without me?” His face nuzzled my neck, and his lips brushed against my skin.
My arms instinctively wrapped around his neck, and I closed my eyes, breathing in his scent. “You smell good,” I sighed. I needed to bottle him up and put him on my dresser. His scent that is, although I actually wouldn’t be opposed to having Nickel in my room whenever I wanted him. “We should go to my room. It has a lock on the door.” I was tipsy enough to turn the lock on my bedroom door and never let him out.
A wonky smile spread across my lips, and Nickel leaned back to look down at me. “My girl is half in the bag and goofy as shit.”
Horny more than goofy, but I wasn’t going to point that out. I had gone from nervous as hell to putty in this man hands. “I might have had a drink or four.”
Nickel walked us over to the living room and pulled me down onto the couch with him. He grabbed my legs, swung them over his lap, and I leaned against the arm of the couch. “I confess, it was four.”
5 Stars from Millsy Loves Books – “I loved this read with passion i’ll be honest i really wasn’t expecting it to effect me as much as it did. The words the story the emotions weather good or bad left me not being able to put this book down. I would highly recommend this read.”
5 Stars from Konny on Goodreads – “Losing My Religion is an intense emotional read. I give 5 stars, thank you AS Tucker!”
5 Stars from Amo & Sarah’s Book Corner – “A very different love story, that is beautifully written.”
As I step into the room, I drop my suitcase on the floor, my duffel bag sliding off my shoulder and falling on top of it. Six bunk beds are crowded into the tiny space, each bed made neatly with a thin comforter stretched tautly across the mattress. It reminds of the dorm rooms I’ve seen in movies and TV shows throughout the years. Except, instead of posters of half-naked women and sports stars adorning the walls, there are pictures of Jesus Christ. Instead of math books and dirty laundry strewed about, there are scriptures and pamphlets about the church.
So, yeah, it’s just like a dorm room—if the dorm room were in a parallel universe where teenage boys read the Bible and The Book of Mormon instead of play video games and drink beer.
Welcome to the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah.
Elder Scott, the leader of the district I’ve been assigned to, points to the bottom bunk on the left side of the room, indicating I should put my stuff there. All the missionaries in this district of the MTC are going to be serving in the California Los Angeles mission or somewhere in the vicinity. We’re split by the area we’ll be serving in, by the language we’ll be speaking, and, of course, by sex. The sister missionaries are housed in a separate part of the MTC with clear guidelines of what will happen if those borders are breached after hours.
I pick up my bag and toss it onto the bed before leaning over to grab my heavier suitcase with both hands. Elder Scott bends over to help, and together, we lift the monstrosity onto the bunk.
“You can hang your suits in the closet,” he says, pointing to a tiny accordion door next to the beds on the right. “Each of you has one drawer in the dresser. Yours will be one up from the bottom. Go ahead and get your things unpacked. I’m going to head to Elder Burke’s class and see if I can borrow Elder Daniels. He’ll be your companion while you’re here.”
Without another word, Elder Scott turns and exits the room, leaving me in the silent, foreign room by myself. An all-too recognizable pang fills my chest as I look around, and once again, I’m left wondering if I’ve made the right choice.
It’s just nerves, my inner Jiminy reminds me, trying to soothe my budding panic.
Or it’s the fact that you’re a total fraud, and you have no business being here, his less than delightful counterpart retorts.
I shake my head as I sit down on the edge of the bed, grateful for the moment alone. It might be the last one I get for the next two years. Once your companion is assigned, the two of you stick together like the pages of a dirty magazine.
I chuckle softly at my poor attempt at a joke, but then guilt immediately sets in at the thought, considering my surroundings. I can almost feel Jesus’s disapproving eyes boring into me. So, instead of lifting my head to meet his gaze, I unzip my suitcase and begin to unpack my things.

I’m not a fan of the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows – why, I don’t know. But I LOVED THIS BOOK!!
Paige needs to get to the Hampton’s ASAP to work on the hit reality show, Ever After. This could be her big break into TV producing and production. So she will stop at nothing to get to the Hamptons. Well except for a storm that forces her flight to be re-routed to Ohio. And maybe Dash and their almost completed one-night stand.
Dash is having some problems and so he agrees to appear as the bachelor on Ever After. Imagine both his and Paige’s surprise when they come face to face with each other. Except Paige is working for the show and Dash is there to find a girlfriend and potentially wife. But they both can’t stop thinking about each other and they can barely hide their hot chemistry.
This was a story full of laugh, swoony moments and a good story. And made me think that my assumptions of scripted reality TV are correct.
5 stars!

She is the reason he’s done what he’s done, and his life has become what it has become.
He haunts his former life, lurking in the background, surviving on occasional glimpses of the only thing good that is left in his miserable life. The horror he has inflicted upon her is nothing compared to the terror that waits for her when someone moves in to take her from him.
The thing about being stuck in the past is that it is like walking through life backwards. She is always looking back, so she doesn’t see what is happening in front of her. Unfortunately for her, it turns out that the ghosts of the past aren’t nearly as terrifying as the monsters of the future.
They say that true love is like a ghost, something that many talk about but few have seen. It’s a good thing for that, too, because he’ll need that element of surprise to protect her. Hopefully when the dust settles, he’ll be able to resurrect more than just himself.

What happens when a man you’ve always hated
turns out to be the one who saves you, risking his own life to rescue
you from certain death?
Lines are blurred.
Everything you’ve always thought was true isn’t quite so clear anymore.

I’ve always hated Marcus Colter. I have since high school. We antagonize
each other every time we meet, and I thought our dislike was mutual,
until he ends up saving my life on a suicide mission to rescue me from
my captors, men who would have killed me if not for Marcus. Everything
that happens after that successful, crazy, and dangerous mission
confuses me.
Turns out, not only is Marcus incredibly brave, but he also has a gruff kindness that I never knew existed. His quiet strength sees me through my pain and fear after he pulls me out of the danger zone.
I’m not sure what to think of Marcus Colter anymore.
He’s still the bossy alpha male who drives me crazy, but I eventually
discover that there’s so much more to Marcus than what’s on the surface.
Apparently, I’ve never known the real Marcus Colter.
Maybe nobody does…

EXCERPT:
“Thank you, Brant,” Sam said to the agent in charge of Nick’s Secret Service detail.
“You’re welcome.” Brant paused before he added, “I know we’ve had this conversation before, Mrs. Cappuano, but I really recommend that you have a detail until we’re certain we’ve contained this threat.”
“I appreciate the recommendation, but I’ll be providing my own security through my team here. I’ll be accompanied by other armed officers everywhere I go. There’s no need to be redundant.”
“Redundant,” Nick muttered with a grunt that would’ve been laughter if the subject matter hadn’t been so grave. “Brant is suggesting added precaution, not redundancy.”
“It’s not necessary,” Sam said, digging in. The last fucking thing she needed was to be escorted around by federal agents. She may as well hang up her badge if that was going to be her reality.
“On that we disagree, my love,” Nick said. “But I’m not going to waste everyone’s time fighting a losing battle. Brant, we appreciate your thoroughness and ask you to keep us posted on the situation.”
“Will do, sir. I’ll wait for you outside.”
When they were alone, Sam looked up at Nick. “I know what you’re going to say, and—”
Nick kissed her hard. “I’ll see you at home later. Let me know if anything pops in the investigation.”
“That’s it? That’s all you’re going to say?”
“That’s it.”
“Hmm.”
“What does that mean?”
“You surprise me.”
He threw his head back and laughed. “Then my day is officially made. I’ve managed to surprise my shrewd, sexy wife.”
“I thought you were going to do the whole alpha-dog lift-your-leg thing and demand I have a detail.”
“Sorry to disappoint you on the leg lifting, babe, but we have a deal. Would I like you to have a detail? Abso-fucking-lutely. Do I understand why you won’t allow it? Yeah, I get it. Doesn’t mean I like it, but I get it.” He kissed her forehead and then her lips. “Now, we’ve both got stuff to do, so let’s get to it so we can get to the best part of the day.”
“Which is?”
His lips were a heartbeat away from hers when he said, “The part where you crawl into bed with me and rub your naked self all over me.”

To believe one person can change your destiny sounds absurd. But it happened to me… twice.
Ten years ago I had no idea what I wanted out of life, until I met Hannah Michaels. She was a computer-engineering student ready to conquer the social media world, and I was smitten. Even though I knew she was taken, I had to have her.
Being the big shot that I was, I didn’t let her status stand in my way. It wasn’t long before my hands were on her thighs and my name a whisper on her lips. This smart, sexy girl inspired me to greatness, helped me grow into the kind of man I never knew I wanted to be. The man I am today.
Too bad I hadn’t grown fast enough to keep her.
Moving on wasn’t easy, but I knew I had to let her go. Eventually, I found someone to share my days and nights with, and together we had a daughter. My life was nearly perfect until my world turned upside down.
A single father has challenges, and one of those is learning how to calmly deal with your child coming home in tears. I had no idea the day I pounded on my daughter’s classmate’s door, Hannah would be the one standing on the other side.
The wild, burning desire that rushed through my veins was unwanted, and yet impossible to ignore. Letting her in meant so much more this time around. Guilt hit me like a hammer. I hated myself. I hated her. The problem was I really didn’t hate her—I wanted her more than ever.
But this time around, I can’t have her.
This time it’s my status that stands in our way—and going up against myself just might be the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
