Bea Paxton is a free spirit. She loves her fledgling interior design business, having fun, and she loves men. But only temporarily. Rule #1 is no relationships, no love, no commitment. She likes being in charge. It’s the only way to protect herself from getting hurt again.
Zane Price is the perfect candidate for a steamy time—beautiful, built, and British. Plus, he’ll soon be moving back to England. Really perfect.
Well…except for the fact that he’s her biggest client. And he doesn’t play by her rules. Hell, no. He wants more. Much more. Which is definitely not on the agenda.
Unfortunately, his kisses are nothing short of toe-curlingly awesome. And he is distracting her—a lot—from doing her job.
She needs to stay away from him. Her livelihood depends on it.
But Zane always gets what he wants. And he wants Bea. But for right now? Or forever…?

She waited for just the right moment, pushing to her feet when she saw her opening. She was zoned in on her target, gun lifting in his direction—and was suddenly flying through the air.
“Hey!”
Somebody had hold of her and they were going down. She braced herself for impact with the hard ground, but landed on a firm chest instead. A chest that smelled suspiciously like…Zane Price.
She was rolled off his body and found herself staring up at his face. He looked kind of angry. Huh. She wasn’t expecting that. She could feel his package grinding against her pelvis, so she certainly wasn’t mad about anything. A package that was quickly hardening, by the way.
“Did you just tackle me?” she asked in bewilderment.
She saw him swallow as his eyes flew over her face. “I believe I did, yes.”
Their position on the ground was far too sexual—not that she was doing anything about it. His upper body was hovering over hers so as not to crush her, but their lower bodies were in close contact.
Very close contact.
She cleared her throat. “Why?”
“Because you were about to become a casualty,” he whispered. “I saved your life.”
“My hero.” She’d meant it to sound sarcastic. But her voice came out a lot huskier than she’d intended.
He noticed.
His eyes darkened in response.
Everything below her belly clenched with need, a reaction that his own body mirrored. She felt him grow thick against her thigh, and though he didn’t say anything, she knew they were both aware of what was happening south of the border.
“And you’re still on top of me, why?”
“Because part of me is quite comfortable here,” he admitted. “And a different part of me is about to be in a world of pain once I move. I’m trying to decide which part I should listen to.”
“Do I get a say in this?”
He gave a small thrust of his hips against her, making her gasp. One quick grind that allowed her to feel the full extent of his manhood in all of its stiff glory.
She was a goner.
His eyelids lowered to half-mast as he took in her reaction. “Do you want a say in this?”

Author of the Slow Seductions, Cruz Brothers, Possession and Politics, and Timid Souls series, Melanie loves all things romance, comedies and suspense in particular because it’s boring to only stick to one sub-genre! Sassy, dramatic, hot-headed are just some of the words used to describe me since the time I was born. A few little mishaps growing up and my mom has a running ‘Emerson Baker’ prayer circle, and I have the reputation of a spit-fire that won’t go away.
I prefer the terms loyal, passionate, fiery, and possibly a bit impulsive.
So when my best friend proposes the concept of starting our own business, I jump on the idea.
CHEATERS BEWARE!
That should be our motto… because your secrets can’t stay hidden for long with Trixsters Anonymous on the case.
We are the moonlighting duo hell-bent on helping those who suspect their lovers are cheating. We’re professional, careful, and completely anonymous…What could possibly go wrong?
Walker Scott… that’s what goes wrong.
I never stood a chance against the gorgeous, hazel-eyed, fiercely determined man who storms into my life and completely blindsides me.
He’s the proof that opposites attract—and when they do, the chemistry is explosive.
Did I mention he’s also a detective? A very, very, talented detective?
Pretty soon being a Trixster is a lot more complicated.

I loved this book! I laughed while reading it and also fell a little in love with Walker while getting mad at him too.
Emi’s friend finds out her fiance cheats on her so she left. And she had the bright idea to start Trixsters Anonymous with Emi. And what better idea for a business? An anonymous company you can hire to spy on your significant other that you think is cheating. It’s quite brilliant.
Walker and Emi just fit together and I love it. Another book I will be re-reading!
5 stars!

Ahren spent her formative years living in an active volcano. There her family made collectible lava art. She studied rock collecting at the Sorbonne in France. There she met the love of her life-her pet pig Sybil. She returned to the states and started writing. She is happily married to a guy who used to live under a bridge and she met while pole-dancing.
Now, meet the real me. I grew up in the south and consider myself a true “Southerner”. Most of the special locations mentioned in my books are reflections of my favorite places. Living on the Florida coast, my family spends a lot time at the beach, which is where I usually can be found with a book in my hand.

From the earliest age I was a born storyteller.
Ask my parents and they will tell you I had a gift for making a simple event seem like an elaborate one. Purposely? No. Innocently? Yes. It was my imaginary world that initially led me to believe I wanted to be an actor. All of that role playing and living in fantasy… it was an obvious direction for me. However, becoming quite uncomfortable with the limelight quickly saw that dream diminish.
Over the years I turned my world of fantasy into stories, and eventually began writing them down. Before I knew it, ‘Cut’ had been completed.
When I am not busy writing my next story, I am a working mum, housewife and sometimes hockey wag 🙂 In other words, probably some kind of circus act who specialises in juggling 😉
I hope you enjoy my blog, where I will be posting thoughts, other books I am currently reading and even sneak peeks of my novels. I encourage any feedback, comments or direct messages via my contact page should anyone wish to get in touch.
I am so thrilled to be sharing my journey and hope you enjoy my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.
I know all this because he taught me.
Once upon a lifetime ago, the rich, arrogant, sinfully gorgeous, and tragically
broken dark prince of the Hamptons was my tormentor. My darkness, my shameful
attraction, my all-consuming, forbidden temptation.
I hate Sebastian Crown because nine years ago, for one night, I was stupid
enough to think I loved him. And I’ve been paying for it ever since.
Except now, he needs me to help him save his empire.
…And he’s not taking no for answer.
Bastian:
She’s my nemesis. My addiction. My weakness.
My obsession.
I used to tell myself I hated Anastasia Bell – for being poor, for not
worshipping the ground I walked on, for looking at me like she pitied me for
being me.
When the rest of my world always told me yes, she was the ever-provoking no.
She thinks I’m a monster – a tragic, fucked-up, broken beast.
She doesn’t know the half of it.
Because she can’t begin to know the crimes of my past, or imagine the things
I’ve done to her behind the scenes since she left this place.
Years ago, I thought breaking her would fix me.
I was wrong.
Now I’ve got her in my sights again, and this time, I won’t be letting her go.
Even if it means we both go down in flames…

An Irresistible Series Standalone
When I think about his broken face, I can hardly breathe.I’m worried that if I exhale, he will be gone forever. An overexposed photograph in my disjointed mental album. Why can’t I rearrange that night’s events, put them in order?I can remember the texture of his rough hands, the way they squeezed my shoulder that day.Hard enough to hurt. But I can’t see his eyes anymore. They’ve been replaced by cruel black holes.“Beckett, let me go.”He had been miserable and trapped, but at least he’d been safe.I thought I was offering him freedom, but I was wrong. So fucking wrong. When I think about the years I spent loving him, nurturing him, living with him, I’d trade everything I had for an extra hour.An hour where we’d read silently, side by side, until his tired head lolled and rested on my shoulder.Just like old times. Then I’d watch his fragile chest shudder as he struggled to breathe, and think about how grateful I was to have met him.How grateful I was that he saved me and breathed life into an orphan who should’ve floundered, but thrived instead. How grateful I was that for a few precious years, when it was just him and me, I was sublimely happy. When I think about all the blood and tears, all the hissing and all that warped metal, I know I’ll burn in hell with all the other sinners. And I’d welcome its gaping maw with open arms and thank God for punishing me.But instead of casting me through the gates of Hell, God played a cruel trick on me.He made me forget everything. He made me forget all my sins. Then, He reunited me with my first love, and gave me a glimpse of hope, a taste of renewed happiness.Only to take it all away a few weeks later, and ruin me all over again.
