It only takes one defining moment.
One look.
One dance.
One conversation.

Sarah knows from the second she meets Liam that their connection is more than just instant attraction. It’s deep, it’s consuming, and has the potential to be the real thing. But true love comes at a price.

Fuelled by Liam’s past, Sarah’s issues, and a messy web of family ties, business partnerships, and exes, the combined forces threaten to snuff out their new found relationship.

Will that spark be smothered by outside forces? Or will they be carried like smoke from the ashes and sent spiralling skywards?

Written in Lesley Jones’ usual heartfelt, witty, and emotional voice, this dual point of view story is just the beginning of her Spiralling series.

Blog Tour & Review ~ Say You’re Mine ~ by ~ Jenika Snow

She was mine before I even knew her name…

Felix

When I first saw Maggie, I knew we’d be the best of friends. I wanted that desperately, wanted her in my life, and I’d do anything to make sure that happened.

Until Maggie came in my life I didn’t know what love was.

She’ll be my first and last.

I’ll be her only.

Maggie

I didn’t know I could have a friendship like the one I have with Felix. But the friend-zone wall has always been in place. Being too afraid to cross it, I’d rather be in Felix’s life than tarnish the relationship we have.

Too much time has past. I’m done being afraid of the what-ifs. I’m ready to admit how I feel for him, consequences or not.

Felix

Maggie doesn’t know the lengths I’ll go to keep her in my life, but she will, because the very idea of her with someone else is not something I’ll even entertain. She’s always been mine, and it’s time I step up and show her how much I love her.
My devotion for her goes to the very depths of my soul, and staying back as she lives her life without me by her side is absolutely not an option.

Warning: This story is so sweet it might give you a stomachache, but it will be worth it. Short, straight to the point, and drama-free, be prepared to fall in love with this devoted hero who will go to any lengths to make the woman he loves his. A safe, overly happy read that will have you wishing you had a Felix in your life.
“We can go as slow or fast as you want.” I lifted my hand and cupped the side of her neck, pulling her head slightly toward mine. We were just an inch apart, sharing the same air, the sweet scent that saturated her filling my head.

“How about we start with you kissing me?” Her voice was low, heated.

I didn’t stop myself then. I tilted my head, and slanted my mouth on hers. A groan was ripped from me instantly. She was so perfect, so soft … so mine.

Maggie loved me.

The one girl I would die for wanted me.

The way she gasped against my mouth and let me have my way with her had me so fucking turned on. I had no doubts I’d come in my jeans like a damn teenager.

“Hold on to me, baby,” I couldn’t stop myself from saying.

She lifted her arms, wound them around my neck, and rose on her toes so she was totally flush with me. There was no spot on her I wouldn’t eventually touch.

My cock jerked behind my jeans, and I wanted more.

I needed more from her.

The rope in me started to unravel, and knew if I didn’t grapple with my control, I could lose it and ruin this. I didn’t want to go too fast, didn’t want to be too rough with my passion.
I wanted to make sure she felt good, that she was right here with me.

She dug her nails into the flesh at my back, and my entire body grew tighter, hotter.

“I need you so bad,” I said and found myself walking her backward, toward the bed.

I tangled my hands around her hair, tugging at the strands.

“Don’t stop,” Maggie gasped against my mouth.

I groaned again. “I have no fucking plans to.”

I thrust my tongue into her mouth, this guttural sound leaving me. I used my other hand to span her back, keeping her close.

I stroked my tongue along hers and pulled it deeper into my mouth. She moaned for me. I found myself pressing my dick against her belly, the softness of her stomach against the rock hardness of my dick making my balls draw up tightly.

“You have no idea how much I want you right now.” I pulled back and looked into her pleasure-filled face.

“Probably about as much as I want you?”

My heart jackknifed in my chest.
“I want you to be my first and only, Maggie.” I wasn’t ashamed or embarrassed in the slightest to admit I’d never had sex. I’d saved myself for this girl, for the chance to show her with my body what she meant to me. No other girl had ever compared to her, never even crossed my mind. Maggie was it from the very beginning.

I was possessive of her, obsessed with her, and there was nothing in this world I wouldn’t do for her.

“Let me show you how special you are to me.” I stared into her eyes.
TBRreview
Felix has loved Maggie since she walked into his class at age 6.  He decided right then and there, she was his and he was never letting her go.
Maggie has a rougher childhood and the only good thing is her friendship with Felix.  That has grown more to love and being in love with him for years.
This was a quick read that I read while taking a break at work.  It was sweet how Felix was always caring for Maggie and protecting her and just being her constant in a crappy childhood.

review

You need to read Anything But Minor FIRST.  Just so you can meet the other characters.  Plus ABM is one of my new favorite reads this year, so everyone should read it.

That being said,  I loved Major Love but in a different way for ABM.  ML is still hilariously funny ( I have GOT to hear her accent!) but it’s definitely a different story than ABM, even with appearances by the same characters.

This is April’s story and her story can be quite a sad one.  But she is determined not to let her circumstances get her down.  April works in a very stressful job/department so she has to compartmentalize in order to not go stark raving mad.  Truly she has my utmost respect because there’s no WAY I could do what she does and remain sane (er more sane?).

Andy is trying to continue his beer brewing and be a bullpen coach while nursing his bruised heart.  April and her Southern charm, accent and sayings is just what the doctor ordered.  Andy isn’t in a mental space to get involved but April just might change his mind.

I hope there’s more to this series!  I need more!!!

Blog Tour & Review ~ Managed ~ by ~ Kristen Callihan

managed-amazonIt started off as a battle of wits. Me: the ordinary girl with a big mouth against Him: the sexy bastard with a big…ego.

I thought I’d hit the jackpot when I was upgraded to first class on my flight to London.

That is until HE sat down next to me. Gabriel Scott: handsome as sin, cold as ice. Nothing and no one gets to him. Ever. He’s a legend in his own right, the manager of the biggest rock band in the world, and an arrogant ass who looks down his nose at me.

I thought I’d give him hell for one, long flight. I didn’t expect to like him. I didn’t expect to want him. But the biggest surprise? He wants me too. Only in a way I didn’t see coming.

If I accept his proposal, I leave myself open to falling for the one man I can’t manage. But I’m tempted to say yes. Because the real man beneath those perfect suits and that cool façade just might be the best thing that’s ever happened to me. And I just might be the only one who can melt the ice around his heart.

Let the battle begin…

managed-teaser-5

In all this time, I had yet to see Gabriel without a shirt. He hides his body like a pious Victorian, never letting me see anything other than him fully dressed and polished. Now I know why. Had he let me get a glimpse, I might never have been able to form a coherent thought around him.

This man’s chest is a work of art. It’s every fantasy I’ve had about a man’s body made real. I don’t even know how that’s possible, but I’m not about to complain. God, he looks touchable. Olive skin, tight little brownish nipples, a smattering of dark chest hair over the most incredibly honed—

“You’re staring.” His tone is dry.

“Yes, I am.” I drag my eyes up and find his expression bemused.

A thick brow lifts. I try to mimic the look and fail when both of my brows lift as one. His lips twitch in amusement.

He shifts his weight, causing his abs to clench. Good Lord. He’s not some overdeveloped gym worshiper, just solid and strong, that perfect balance between defined musculature and healthy male—

“You’re still staring, Sophie.”

“You think it’s easy looking away from all this splendor?” I ask his belly button, licking my lips when he huffs out a laugh and just a little bit more of his lower abs are revealed, slanting toward the thick bulge of his cock, which is lamentably hidden behind his slacks.

“You’re impossible,” he mutters, though there is humor in his voice. He strolls farther into the room and then practically kills me when he sits in one of the low-slung armchairs. That body, sprawled out on display, those thick, long thighs braced as if to take me in his lap—it’s too much.

I want to straddle him and lick my way from the hollow of his throat to the tip of his cock.

He eyes me as if he knows what I’m thinking, and the air thickens. So many things we left unsaid. I’m remembering his lips now, surprisingly soft, but strong with purpose.

From the way his lids lower, I wonder if he’s remembering things as well. But he doesn’t move. Tension glides over his body and snakes around the room. I feel it in my throat and down my spine. We’re closing up again, retreating.

Slowly, I toe off my shoes and set my gear down, never breaking eye contact. “I was being completely honest,” I tell him. “I see you like this and I want to stare forever.”

He snorts, shaking his head even as he rests his temple on his knuckles. “What do you mean ‘like this’?”

“Undone.”

He tenses. It does lovely things to that chest. I focus on his face, mainly to maintain some semblance of decorum.

“You think this is me undone?” he asks quietly.

“It’s a start.” I reach for my camera bag. “Will you let me photograph you?”

There is safety to be found with the camera between us. A way for both of us to hide until we’re comfortable around each other again.

“You’re serious?”

“You sound surprised.” Holding my camera, I sit in the sofa opposite him. “Don’t tell me no one has asked to take your picture before.”

“They’ve asked. I never saw the point.” He shrugs. “I’m not the story.”

You’re my story. You always were.

“This is just for me,” I say instead. “No one else.”

His shrewd gaze pins me. “Why do you want this?”

So I can have a bit of you forever. “Pictures capture moments in time. I want this one—when you finally let me see a sliver of the man behind the clothes.”

His nostrils flare on an indrawn breath, and he slowly lets it out. When he speaks, his voice is a rasp. “Take the pictures.”

TBRreview

If you like a sassy, spunky girl who gives as good as she gets to a pompous, dry, Brit, this is the book for you!  Sophie Darling is just that: darling.  She’s always good for a one-liner and she definitely shakes Gabriel’s life up when she gets upgraded to his 2nd First Class airplane seat.  So much more happens in this book but you just have to read it.  You love Sophie and her selfless ways and how she challenges Gabriel while she’s also trying to take care of him.

I hadn’t read Book 1 Idol (psst, it’s on sale for $.99!) so I scooped that up.  That’s Killian and Libby’s story.  And I can’t wait to dig in to that one!

I always love Kristen Callihan’s characters!  They’re so real and they are definitely personalities that leap off the page. I’ve read and LOVED The Game On series  and I’m loving the VIP series!  I can’t wait for more of these characters.  I can’t wait to see Jax get his.

EXCERPT:

“You can’t jump.”

She narrows her eyes on me. “Of course I can.”

“Is it safe?”

My grip on her grows tighter and she steps close enough that I can feel the heat of her breasts brush against my ribs. “Lucas, do you trust me?”

“No.” The word comes out on a shaky whisper.

A gentle grin softens her face and with both her hands she works to relax my hold enough for her to slip free. Seconds later she turns, takes four long strides, and disappears off the rock cliff.

A holler that can only be described as guttural exhilaration echoes off the canyon walls and slices through the trees.

I race to the edge and there’s nothing but a circle of white bubbles marring the once shimmering pond.

I wait for her to surface, and just when I’m about to jump in and rescue her, her head pops up out of the water with a feral howl.

“That was amazing!” She waves at me. “The water is perfect!”

With adrenaline coursing through my veins, I allow myself a moment to wonder what it would be like to be as free as Shyann. Everything I do is weighed against the danger of doing it. The threat of blacking out always pulling me back to walk the safer, less risky side of any situation. But something about her makes me want to try harder, makes me want to take a risk like other twenty-five-year-old guys. The sound of her squealing lights a fire in my chest that has me wanting to jump.

Risking a blackout might be worth the few seconds of euphoria I haven’t felt since…I can’t remember.

I think of backing away and yelling for her to meet me at the truck, but something pulls me toward her. Part of me wonders if it’s nothing more than wanting to be close, to keep her safe, because she belongs to Mr. Jennings and I owe him. But even as the thought enters my mind, so does another.

I want her to like me.

I want her to see me as brave.

I want to know what it’s like to be normal.

WOW. This story was just everything. There’s romance, drama, suspense, a thriller. There’s something for everyone (minus paranormal)! So many twists and turns and surprises but you can’t stop yourself from guessing who is causing what issues.

Shyann is just trying to make it as an on-air reporter anywhere outside the tiny town of Payson where she was raised. But she isn’t willing to do just about anything and ends up fired. She goes back home kicking and screaming to live back with her dad while she tries to get her life together and save some money. That’s where she meets her father’s newest employee, Lucas. Lucas is quiet and has something different about him.

And then Shyann meets Gage and he thrills her on a whole different level. When he isn’t scaring the bejeezus out of her.

And there’s the little thing about the serial killer on the loose…

EXCERPT

I join him on the couch and wait for the awkward conversation to pop up again. It’s not the first time he’s caught me appreciating his body, and if he keeps living here, it won’t be the last. In my defense, he’s practically half naked and cut like an Olympian. I’d like to meet a heterosexual woman who wouldn’t do a double take at a shirtless Bryson Daniels. I imagine the list would lean toward the geriatric end of the spectrum, or the blind.

“What are you doing?” he chastises as I scoot a sliver of watercress away from my food. “That’s the best part!”

I hold my plate up for him as he stabs the evil vegetable with his fork and pops it into his mouth.

Plush lips, strong jaw, and masculine slashed eyebrows—this man has everything going for him.

I give my head a slight shake and turn my attention back to the TV. He seems relaxed and unfazed by sitting on the couch beside me. I, on the other hand, am full of turmoil. His thigh is touching mine, his shoulder bumps mine every now and then, and my body shakes slightly when he laughs, ever aware of his proximity.

“You seem like a Hermione,” he says as Harry and Ron sit down beside her in the library.

I watch her with sad eyes as she struggles to remain proud and unaffected by the naysayers trying to pull her down. I’m nothing like her. She stands up to those who throw negativity her way. She faces adversity with her head held high. I cower and hide.

“I wish I were as strong as her,” I say, my voice low. “I used to be like her.”

“What changed?” I tilt my head in his direction, finding the softness in his voice matches the compassion in his eyes.

Looking away, I shake my head, trying my best not to let the tears stinging my eyes fall down my cheek.

“Hey,” Bryson says, reaching over and hooking a finger under my chin, “forget I said anything.”

His finger is gone just as fast, and I miss his touch immediately. My appetite gone, I lean forward and place my half eaten plate of food on the coffee table, the idea of hiding away in my room sounding better by the second.

“Nope,” Bryson says. Picking up my plate, he puts it back on my lap and points to the pile of broccoli. “None of that. Only those in the Slytherin house refuse to eat their vegetables. You’re not Slytherin, are you?”

I grin at his silliness. “Hufflepuff all the way.”

I pop a chunk of food in my mouth.“That’s what I thought.”

Holy wow, this book! I don’t know what I was expecting but this book is SO much more!! Olivia is a self-imposed shut in. She has a very good reason and it makes perfect since. I’m not telling you what it is because you need to read it for yourself.
Bryson has just moved in because he needs a place to stay and needs to get away from his old college. He is interested in his new attractive roommate but knows that he’s not going to break up or cause someone to cheat.
Bryson is just what Olivia needs. He pushes her past her self-imposed boundaries and helps her through a VERY rough time in her life. Fair warning, there will be tears!!

I’ve always wanted to write novels and just recently had the gumption to sit down and start one. My passions include reading everything under the sun and plotting out new books to write in the future.Kincaid is my 7th book. I’ve also written the Hale Series, Love ME Like That, and a FanFiction named Psychosis, featuring up and coming cover model, Matthew Hosea, as the main character. This book was done for fun and all of the proceeds are going to charity. All of my books are currently available on Amazon.

About Trust:

“Knock knock!”

“Um… Who’s there?”

Yeah. That was me, on my last date. Before you feel sorry for me

you should know that I was the one telling the jokes. Jokes as in

plural, because I didn’t stop with just one. Of course not.

Hi, I’m Chloe Scott. The most awkward single girl in the city.

But I’m going to get it together. I am.

I’m going to learn how to date like a grown up.

I’m going to have an orgasm not given to myself.

I’m going to fall in love and live happily ever after.

Right after I get out of this interrogation room.

Exclusive Excerpt:

I need to remember to be careful with this girl. She’s so… unsure of herself. She seems self-reliant, yet there’s this undercurrent of doubt that I don’t yet understand.

She walks across the studio and pulls a denim jacket from a small closet and shrugs into it, then picks up her bag and slings it over her shoulder. “Are you ready?”

I nod and follow her out, watching as she locks the door then tugs on it to make sure it’s locked. We take the elevator down in silence then hit the sidewalk outside before she asks if we’re walking or driving.

“Driving,” I tell her, nodding to the parking spot I got in front of her building. I unlock the car and open the passenger door for her before walking around and getting behind the wheel.

“This is nice,” she says, glancing around the interior of my Range Rover. “This is more James Bond than FBI though,” she says, with a little wrinkle of her nose, her forehead creasing in concern.

“Are you disappointed?”

She shrugs. “It is a nice car,” she says as she buckles herself in and crosses her legs, resting her hands on her knees. “But I don’t think it’s government-issued.”

I laugh. “It’s not. Does that disappoint you?” I ask, starting the car and merging into traffic.

“I guess it’s okay.” Another shrug.

I take a right onto the Schuylkill and ask if she’s learned any new knock-knock jokes since I last saw her.

She turns her head and gives me a look. “Funny.”

“I’m genuinely curious,” I say. “You were killing it the other night.”

“No. But speaking of killing, did you know that at any given time, there are between twenty and fifty serial killers in the United States? Did you know that?” She turns in her seat to look at me, her eyes wide with interest.

“That’s quite the transition, from knock-knock jokes to serial killers,” I comment while turning on the ramp to the I-676.

“Oh, yeah. Sorry.” She shakes her head. “I just thought it would be fewer.”

“Uh-huh.”

“Like ten. I thought it would be ten. Maybe fifteen.”

“One would think.” I nod. Not really. Who thinks about this shit?

TBRreview

Chloe is so much me!!  Not necessarily the naivete but the total dork and awkward dater.  And I LOVE her!  Chloe is such a goofball and she’s awesome.  She’s just so clueless about men and dating.  She meets men online and boy does she meet some winners.

Boyd takes it upon himself to help out clueless Chloe and practice her dating by being a fake date.  He wants Chloe to relax and not tell random knock-knock jokes when she’s nervous.  Although he does seem to like those, he just doesn’t want her nervous.

This was just a LOL story and I want to read the whole series again and re-meet all the girls!  Especially Everly.  I miss her crazy self!

5 stars!

Release Day Blitz & Review ~ Kiss My Crown ~ by ~ Alexis Noelle

Title: Kiss My Crown
Author: Alexis Noelle
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: November 7, 2016
My name is Kate and I’m a princess.
I had it all. Every little girl’s dream: Working as a princess in a theme park five days a week. Prince Charming and I really hit it off, until he hit every other princess in the park.
After beating him with his own sword I decided it was time to find a normal guy. I met one- or at least I thought I did.

Now the princesses are snubbing me and the princes won’t even look at me. Worse, I’m about to be demoted to a fairy, which is like being sent to the seventh level of hell.

What do you do when the fairy tale ends?
When happily ever after sucks ass?

“It’s a quick, fun, and sassy ride.” – Two Book Pushers

“Alexis Noelle hit it out of the humor park this time around!” – Renee Entress’s Blog

“OMG!!! This book was absolutely amazing!” – Hot Box Reviews

“I freakin’ loved this book! It was so refreshing to read a book filled with humor instead of one filled with a lot of angst and suspense!” – Stephanie’s Book Reports

Who doesn’t love a smart-ass, sarcastic princess?  Well she plays a princess at a theme park where she has the dreamy boyfriend who plays Prince Charming and lives a magical life.  Except she hates having to smile and act princessy all the time or and her dreamy Prince Charming?  He’s banging every female in the theme park.
So Kate is through with her not so Prince Charming, and sends him packing.  And ends up meeting a real charming man who doesn’t want to plug every female within a mile’s radius.
This is the start of a hysterical series and I love Kate’s attitude and sassiness!
4.5 stars!
Alexis Noelle lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her husband, and three kids. On top a writing career, she is a full-time student and a full-time mom. She loves spending time with her kids, although she has to hide the computer from them when she is writing! She love being active and being outdoors, especially if it involves any kind of shopping.

She has always been passionate about writing. She loves to read romance books and feels like being able to lose yourself in a book is one of the more exciting aspects. The books she loves to read and write will be ones that make you feel for the characters. Ashley believes that you should have an opinion on every character in a book whether you love them, hate them, or think they are up to something. She also believes that the most important critic is your reader, so she loves to hear from the readers. She want her fans to be open & talk to her about what they want for the characters in the story, and what they would like to see happen.
