I love a good sports romance – Susan Elizabeth Phillips’ Chicago Stars series remains one of my favorites to this day. Anywho, in this first story of the Men of Blaze series, we meet Colson, who has just been traded to the Miami Blaze, the NBA team.
Within minutes of landing, he stops a mugging in progress of the beautiful Sydney. Sparks immediately fly between the two. Fast forward to Colson and Sydney finding out the other is employed by the same company, the Blaze and Sydney’s dad is Colson’s new coach.
You could feel the chemistry between the two of them leaping off the page (well kindle). The flirting, the teasing, the pain and joy. Sydney and Colson both are not what the other expected but they’re definitely drawn to each other.
I can’t wait to read more of this series!! I’m hooked already!
