I don’t really do YA/NA Romance but I will try it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Marie James so this was an easy YES for me. And I’m SOOOOO glad I did!! Piper and Dalton’s story had me reading all day at work because I needed to know what would happen! I had to know would Dalton win over Piper, would Dalton wake up from his attitude and would Piper tell Dalton about how his bullying made her feel?
I personally love when the main character has such a change of heart – ideally not for the same reason Dalton did, but it knocked some sense into him. This story wasn’t just a romance, it was a look into bullying and why it is SO important not to bully people. I think while how Dalton got the sense knocked into him, I’m glad he did. And he got to see first hand that he needed to address his obvious crush from the very beginning.
I can’t wait to read the next book!
