I’m a writer with a dream of sharing the characters I see in my head with others and have you fall in love with them too. I have been a writer since I was a little girl and finally got brave enough to show my work to a friend. My friend asked for more and that, in turn, resulted in me showing a couple more friends, who told me this book needs to be published.

On the other side of the pen name, I’m a mother of two and that’s a big part of why I’m using a pen name. This is MY career choice, not theirs. It’s not about being ashamed of my work, far from it, I am super proud but I have a responsibility. The other reason is due to wanting to keep the focus on my work. For the lack of a better pun, I’m an open book, ask me anything, but I think my books are far more interesting than I am.

I think about writing and characters all the time. I love nothing more than sitting down at my computer, or even with my pen and notebook, to get my imagination down on paper. I try to create characters that feel like friends, people that the reader would want to know. I aim to write stories that not only give you a laugh, but have you thinking about your own life.

About the actual name – I’d chosen another name and found out that there is another author out there with the same name. Back to the drawing board, I chose my favourite name – which was Josephine. As for the Traynor part, I’d just finished reading Jojo Moyes’ Me Before You and Will Traynor’s choices and suggestions about living to the fullest and without regret was another push for me to follow my dreams.

This was a sweet (see what I did there?) story about a possible second chance romance. Jillian has started a new business with her best friend and has also moved into her mother’s in-law quarters (a detached house on the same lot). Of course her mother is determined that her Jillian’s finger not be bare for long. Avery is back in town with an injury and runs into Jillian, literally. Well almost. Jillian is chasing her mother’s black cat Romeo as Avery is driving up in the dark. Avery needs Jillian’s help and Jillian needs to steer clear of Avery.

A good story worth a re-read. And reading the other books in the series!

This was the first book of Jennifer Foor’s I’ve read (what’s taken me so long?) and I was hooked. I was reading this while at work and I just couldn’t put it down – even when I was supposed to be writing reports to do today – because I just needed to hear Raimey’s story. I will say that reading the blurb, I was convinced she would have these overbearing, alpha brothers but that wasn’t really the case here.

Raimey has come home to New Jersey because yet another boyfriend has cheated on her. When she gets back to the house, she finds out all sorts of things aren’t as they were when she left. Her brothers have lost the thriving repo business they had when she left, 2 of her brothers aren’t around (I’m not telling WHY), one brother is doing his own thing and the last brother acts as if she’s a huge P.I.T.A and he wants her G.O.N.E. But there is SO much more to this.

And then of course she meets her ex, Crane and sees what a success he has become. And Crane wants Raimey back. Now. He’s determined to be by her side through everything that’s going on and isn’t going to let her run away again.

Such a grabbing story and you just feel for Raimey as she’s going through all the trials of coming home again.

“You make me remember I need to be good and right in my choices.”

“Exactly,” I say, and her reference to my previous words tells me that I am not the only one on a mission of trust, and I intend to deserve hers.

I bring my hands to just above her shoulders, letting them lightly touch her before beginning a slow caress downward. She makes a soft little sound that has my cock thickening and my blood running hot, but I won’t rush this. My lips follow, tracing a line down one of her arms, then the other. I lean and caress my lips over hers, a feather light touch that teases me, if not her.

I take her hands in mine, pressing them behind her head. “Hold them there, for me, so I can see all of you. Understand?”

“You intend to tease me incessantly,” she says, without so much as a hint of hesitation. “Yes. I understand.”

“New guy.” Someone muttered behind me.

I turned only my head to find Stone, the president, staring at me with hard eyes.

I picked up the syringe from the table, similar to the one I’d given everybody else’s flu shot with, and stabbed it in the meat of Truth’s arm.

Truth bellowed in rage, and I flipped the guard up on the syringe before tossing it into the trash can.

“Done?” I asked Stone. “I have to get to work.”

Stone nodded.

“Yeah, thanks.” He nodded. “Have fun at the nut house.”

I grunted something unintelligible, causing him to laugh.

“Don’t sound so excited.” He laughed.

I flipped him off and walked out the door just as Ghost was letting Truth up

“Why you gotta be such a big motherfucker?” Truth growled. “If you’d been anyone else, I’d have gotten away.”

“Why do you think I called Ghost instead of anyone else?” I heard Stone reply.
