This book moves at a pace and I really didn’t want to put it down. Another thing that surprised me was that I didn’t really notice there was no sex until it was brought up in the storyline.

I am not a paranormal person. That being said, I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I like that Emery doesn’t know what’s going on and what she is and so everyone has to explain it to her. Because I don’t understand the paranormal, so that helped me get into this book and understand more rather than just take everything as it was given. There were reasons for why things happened.
And Kade! Growly, strong, alpha Kade. He’s swoon-worthy! I knew he was going to be “the guy” in this whole thing. He seemed so possessive and growly from the very beginning of meeting Emery.
I can’t wait to see where this series goes. It does end on a cliffhanger so I will be waiting (im)patiently for book 2!
