In CRUSHING ON LOVE…

Steve Johnson is living his life’s passion watching over the Colorado Mountains as a ranger and wildlife consultant. But his peaceful life is upended when overzealous and insanely beautiful Shannon Braden flits back into his life after returning from a brief trip home to Maryland. He thought his attraction to her was under control—after all, she’s only in Colorado temporarily, and he doesn’t do casual affairs.

Shannon’s return to Colorado has as much to do with the game of cat and mouse she and Steve have been playing as it does the data she’s been hired to collect. But despite her efforts to explore the undeniable heat simmering between them, Steve’s intent on keeping his distance.

When a ranch abutting the national park goes up for sale, Steve will do whatever it takes to keep it from falling into the wrong hands. And when all his attempts fail, he’s left with no alternative but to follow Shannon’s guidance into the online world he abhors in order to raise the funds. The more time they spend together, the deeper their attraction becomes, and a game of cat and mouse turns into an unstoppable connection. But when Shannon’s assignment comes to an end, will it mean an end to them, too?

SHANNON WATCHED STEVE swing his ax. He was built like the very mountains he loved: strong and stable, with layers of hard-earned muscles born from honest, hard work. Pure perfection. And that hair? Lord. What would it be like to fist her hands in his hair and kiss him? To touch all those hard planes of muscle? To discover the man behind the walls? She told herself those were wants not needs, no matter how much they felt like it. The kind of unrelenting wants that bring a girl to reach beneath the sheets and satisfy her fantasies.

Down, girl.

Shannon had been surprised by how much she’d missed Steve when she’d gone home for her eldest brother Cole’s wedding. She and Steve hadn’t spent more than a few stolen moments together during the weeks she was here for her first assignment. Usually she’d catch him working on equipment, or in his yard, before she returned to her uncle’s ranch in the evenings. He’d captivated her with his passion for, and endless knowledge about, all things wilderness related. And he was different from most of the guys she knew. He wasn’t hung up on his looks or material things. He was real, with a strong set of values and priorities. Somehow, between their almost daily conversations and weeks of hoping she’d see him, she’d become completely and utterly taken with him.

When she’d been offered the assignment and the cabin, she’d accepted without hesitation. She’d missed Steve too much to deny the attraction, and she wanted to see if something might come of it.

Now that she was here, her body was thrumming at the mere sight of him. Given that she’d actually asked him about his sex life—and nearly died on the spot when the question slipped out—she desperately needed to rein herself in.

He wiped sweat from his brow, his tanned skin glistening in the morning sun. “Need anything from town?” he asked, setting another log on the stump.

She couldn’t pry her eyes from his rippling abs and his bulbous biceps flexing with every move. “Town?”

He cocked a smile and hoisted the ax again. “Town. You know, the place where people who like Pinterest live?”

She forced her eyes away, glancing at the trees swaying in the breeze, the rocks at her feet, anywhere but at him.

“I know what town is. I’m just surprised you’re going there.” Everyone knew Steve hated to leave his precious mountain.

“Gotta take care of some business.”

Going into town was a big deal. Unlike a quick trip to the store from her apartment in Peaceful Harbor, the drive into town took at least thirty to forty-five minutes, depending on which town he was going to. She’d realized last night she’d forgotten two very important supplies. Pop-Tarts and toilet paper. She could probably live with the single roll of toilet paper she had in the cabin for another few days if she needed to, but Pop-Tarts were pretty much a necessity. Besides, maybe she could convince Steve to help her scout gray-fox habitats at dusk. Perfect!

“Can I come with you?” she asked hopefully. “I need to pick up a few things.”

“I’ll get them for you. What do you need?”

She bit her lower lip, willing herself not to fib. But if she asked him to pick up what she really needed, he’d leave and she’d have to go searching for habitats by herself. Now that she’d thought about going later with her yummy mountain man, she’d already settled on it in her mind.

“It’s girl stuff. You won’t want to get it.” So much for not fibbing. “Can I please go with you?” She gave him her best pleading look. “I promise not to talk your ear off.” Fib, fib, fib! She had no control over what came out of her mouth, especially around him.

He muttered under his breath and set the ax against the stump. “I’m not making a hundred stops.”

She leapt with delight and ran over to hug him. Her heel slipped out of her boot and she stumbled into him in a half hug, half full-body-draped-over-Steve embrace. His skin was hot, his body was hard, and getting harder by the second. He smelled like man and musk, and…she was still plastered against him.

She cleared her throat and managed, “Thank you.” Using his chest for leverage—yum, yum—she found her footing and pressed her heel back into her boot. “One stop. That’s it. Promise.”

“You’re excited to get those supplies.” He picked up the logs he’d chopped and piled them on his forearm like they were toothpicks.

“I’m just excited to be back. Maybe at dusk you can help me map out the habitats? It’ll be fun to scope them out together.”

He gave her a curious look. “Haven’t heard anyone describe hanging out with me as fun in a long time.”

“Then you’re hanging out with losers, and I’m taking that as a yes.” She grabbed the coffee mugs, unable to stop smiling.

“I’m leaving in twenty minutes.”

“I’ll be back lickety-split.” With a bounce in her step, she headed toward her cabin and heard him mutter, “Lickety-split,” followed by a chuckle.

I’m not a good person. In fact, I’m a real bitch. If the
opportunity arises, I will take your husband, give him the best sex he’s ever
had, and laugh behind your back once I’m done with him. I do not put on airs
and graces. I just take what I want whenever I want it.

I am the abused who has become the abuser. I live for power because all power
had been stripped from me for years. Now that I have it back, I feed off of it
like it’s my primary sustenance, and I don’t care who I hurt in the process.

Every woman hates me, but do you know what? I don’t give a shit.

You won’t like me. I’m not here to be liked. You want to know my story? I won’t
stop you from observing. Just know that once I’m done with you, no shower—no
matter how scalding—will ever get me out from under your skin.

Warning: If you’re looking for pink, fluffy clouds, rainbows, and HEA’s, then
this book is not for you. These pages contain flashback scenes of child abuse
in all forms (physical, sexual, and emotional) as well as BDSM and other taboo
themes.

Love does not live in this book. Only dark, twisted, and sick obsessions thrive
here.

You. Have. Been. Warned!

Blog Tour ~ Branded ~ by ~ Candace Havens

I have my hands full taking care of my little sister and covering for my uncle as ranch foreman. The last thing I need is a Texas princess like Callie Llewellyn getting up in my business and messing with my head.

All I can think of is getting up close and personal with those curves of hers. And being on the edge of discovery makes our quick-and-dirty encounters twice as hot. And that’s all they are—quick and dirty—there’s nothing deeper going on here.

There’s only one rule to keeping my job and a roof over my sister’s head: stay away from the boss’s granddaughter. But I’m not always great at following the rules.

An hour later, I’d showered. My bones were tired as hell. But my cock was hard.

I texted Callie: Where are you?

Studying. And I’m not talking to you. Stop texting me.

Didn’t blame her for being mad. I’d been a jerk. But this thing with her had only been going on for twenty-four hours, and I was already twisted up. Might be best to let it go. But that wasn’t going to happen.

What are you studying?

Sigh

I snickered.
Come on. I’m sorry. I was an asshole. Why don’t you bring your books, and I’ll help you.

You don’t even know what it is.

I need to see you. We can just study.
She didn’t text back.
So I typed: You’re mad. So rant. I can take it.

WTF is wrong with you? You’re the one who told me you’d had enough. Then you kissed the shit out of me and took a phone call. And I told you I’m BUSY.

You wanted what I gave you. We’re not doing this on the phone. 30 mins. Bring your books and laptop.

Go F yourself.

I laughed out loud. Maybe it was a little sick, but I liked when she was all red up.

28 mins.

I shoved my phone in my pocket and took off for my uncle’s house. My sister was at her first slumber party. She’d become friends with one of the girls she’d met while helping Mrs. Llewellyn with charity work. They talked on the phone constantly. Her mother was nice, as was her father. The girl had spent the night at our house two nights ago. She hadn’t balked at the simple three-bedroom ranch house. They’d had fun and I hadn’t seen Addy that happy in a long time.

I’d talked to the parents again when they’d picked up her friend. Then before I let her go to the party tonight, I’d made Ads pinky-swear there would be no boys involved. And that she’d text me every two hours to check in.

I still hadn’t heard anything from Callie. So I sent her another text: Meet me at the ranch house. Please. See, I can be nice. Now get your ass over here.

The princess was about to go to a whole new school. And I couldn’t wait to play teacher.

Blog Tour – 12th – 19th Septemeber

Charming Olivia is the first of three novels in the Geary Brothers Series
Olivia Gage is a top selling clean romance novelist, but wants to write
erotica. Jack Geary leads the lifestyle that Olivia wants to write about. They
start talking after a sarcastic written conversation over a review of a corset
that he made and a book she wrote.
Over time, they become friends and then he persuades her to spend a week with
him. He reasons with her that if she hasn’t experienced erotica first hand then
how is she going to write about it.
Charming Olivia is the week she spends with him, each night a different
subject, whips & ropes, threesomes, MM sex club and so on. He is determined
to talk her out of her clothes and into his bed. Olivia is determined that he
is not going to lay a finger on her until she confesses the truth.
Over the year that he has been in contact with her, he has told her exactly
what he wants to do to her. She tells him she is married and that is why she
won’t succumb to his charms but she is not telling the full truth. Once Olivia
reveals what the truth is to Jack, she stands no chance.
Charming Olivia
Cecily was whisked from me immediately and was out of sight
in seconds. I wandered over to the make-shift bar and took a glass of white
wine. Walking over to the other side of the room, my heels clicking on the
wooden floor I took out my phone. I checked where Cecily had disappeared to and
opened my phone to see if Jack had sent me a message. He had.
Jack: How is the exhibition?
Me: We have just arrived. Cecily has already deserted me so
I’m wandering around the room checking out the other artists’ work. She has
warned me that I’m not allowed to use my phone when I’m here. I need to be wary
because she’s threatened to throw my phone out of the window and I know she
will. What are you doing?
Jack: I’m hard at work, socialising and selling knickers.
Me: Have you sold any yet?
Jack: No, but then I’m checking out the hot women that are
here. One of them has caught my eye, I can only see her back and I’m
telepathically willing her to turn around, but she is not complying. She looks
stunning and I want to grope her bottom.
Me: Why don’t you go and talk to her, wow her with your
witty charm. If she has stunning shoes then just tell her which company you own
and she will be yours for the night.
Jack: Would that work with you? What should I do to wow you?
Me: You know you can’t wow me. I’m not available to be
wowed.
Jack: I wish you were available. I still don’t understand
why you won’t meet me? I’ve offered to help you with your little problem. I
don’t see what the issue is?
My little problem. At times, I wished I hadn’t told him
about it. I was about to answer him when my phone was snatched from my hands. I
looked up to see Cecily’s back disappearing away, my phone in her hand. She was
walking towards the open window at the end of the room and I started to jog
after her. My tight dress and high heels were not aiding my efforts and I heard
someone chuckle as I passed them. Managing to catch up with her I tried to take
my phone back but she held it away from me.
“What did I say Olivia?” She asked with a huge grin on her
face.
“I was talking to Jack, you left me on my own, what was I
supposed to do?” I whined and pouted.
Cecily looked at my phone and grinned evilly at me and
started typing and then handed it back to me.
“That is your punishment for not staying by my side and for
entering me into this exhibition without my permission.” Cecily said and waited
for me to read what she’d sent.
Me: I’ve no real reason to keep turning down meeting you so
I will. Name the time and place and I’ll be there. Oh and check out my dress
this evening.
“Oh my God Cecily, why did you say that? Why did you send
the picture of me?”
“You have a problem and he has offered to fix it. You need
to do this, so I made the first step. You look hot and sending him a picture
will do no harm. You will thank me for it later, I promise. It’s no different
to what you did to get me here this evening.” She said and winked and walked
away.
I checked my phone to see if Jack had replied, he hadn’t. I
chewed on my thumbnail and waited for a long time, which in reality was two and
a half minutes.
Jack: Tomorrow, 9pm, Blue’s Bar on South Street, Edinburgh.
You look stunning.
Shit, double shit, how was I going to get out of this? I
stared at the screen silently cursing Cecily. Looking up to locate my so called
friend, I found her and glared at her from across the room.  Cecily didn’t
notice me throwing daggers at her, she looked perfectly fine on her own and she
didn’t need me here at all, which meant I didn’t need to be punished. I
couldn’t believe that she told him I would come and now he wanted me to meet
him tomorrow. I could drop everything and go tomorrow, but he didn’t know that.
Jack: Cold feet?
Me: I don’t know what came over me. I can’t arrive tomorrow,
I’ve a busy week next week.
Jack: Liar
Damn, that was the problem when you talked to someone every
day, they got to know your schedule.
Jack: What is the worst that can happen? Your husband can do
without you for a week, you have told me that he is not there next week, so get
on a plane and come and see me.
Me: You want me to come for a week?
Jack: When we discussed your little problem you gave me the
scenarios you wanted to see and we agreed it would take a week. We have talked
about this for months, we have even planned out how we’ll do it so why not now?
I’ll show you my lifestyle so that you can sort out that the problem of yours
and then you can go back to your ordinary life. I promise I won’t fuck you
unless you ask me to.
I gasped out loud, I don’t know why I did, his forwardness
shouldn’t shock me after this long but it did. I heard a man laugh from across
the room and I saw Cecily laughing with a client she was standing with. She
didn’t need me here, I wondered if I could slip away without her knowing.
Jack: Well?
Me: I’m not staying with you, I’ll book a hotel and you need
to keep your hands to yourself the entire time.
Jack: Deal. I’ll see your beautiful face tomorrow
sweetheart.
I sighed at my phone and put it away without answering. I
looked around the room to find Cecily to tell her what damage she’d done with
her comment and mentally made a list of what I needed to do to go to Edinburgh
tomorrow.

Synopsis: Folks in town call him a monster—say he’s dangerous. But I know him simply as Elijah Hays, the quiet, gentle giant who works with the horses on my ranch. I can feel him watching me, that steady intense gaze making me crave things I don’t quite understand, burn in a way that frightens me. He’s always kept his distance…until that night.I remember him coming to my rescue, me following him into the barn, giving him his first taste of a woman, and his inexperienced yet barely reined touch turning me to ash.

Now all I can think about is exposing the dark desire I see deep inside him—having him turn those dark desires on me. That low, gritty voice rasping orders in my ear. Those huge, rough hands holding me down when a storm blows in.

I want his surrender. His control. I want to break him…and have him break me…

Blog Tour & Review ~ The Playbook ~ by ~ Kelly Elliott

playbook_amazonMy life revolved around two things. Football and my cock. And not necessarily in that order.

Being the head football coach for a top university in Texas had its ups and its downs.

The ups? Endless women to f*ck.

The downs? The politics that came with the job.

From the moment Aubrey Cain walked into my office, she turned my world upside down. Being forced to have her follow me around for a month was going to be a pain in the ass. Especially since I couldn’t keep my eyes off of her.

The best I’d hoped to come out of this was a few nights with her in my bed. I never imagined she’d be the game changer.

Brett Owens was my assignment.

Head football coach for a top college, bad boy reputation, short temper, and handsome good looks should have scared me off. But I was tougher than that.

From the first words out of his obnoxious, dirty-talking mouth, I knew it was going to be a long month. It wasn’t five minutes after meeting him, he hit on me. If only I had known his blue eyes would haunt my dreams and awaken a desire inside of me I never knew existed.

This was business. There was no way I would be tempted by him no matter how good looking he was or how many things he whispered in my ear.

He was only supposed to be my assignment. Not the man who threatened to destroy both my heart and my career. I would follow along with his playbook for now. But who would end up winning was anyone’s guess.

The Playbook is a stand-alone novel.

 TBRreview

This was an amazing read!! I laughed, I almost cried, I raged and fell in love.

Aubrey is a sports reporter for ESPN who desperately wants to make the leap from covering collegiate football to covering the NFL. Her boss gives her an assignment, designed to test her mettle – so she thinks.

Brett Owens is the philandering hometown hero football coach. The fans, school and parents love him and the ladies would love to be with him. He has always been attracted to Aubrey when he saw her on the sidelines months ago but is determined to be the most man-whore self he can be to scare her off. Except it backfires on him.

Brett deep down is a good guy. A filthy talker for sure but he has a heart of gold. And he can’t keep Aubrey from seeing that as they spend time together for Aubrey’s article.

This story was just amazing. It wasn’t just simply a coach and reporter falling in love, but a whole relationship created within the pages of the book.

Until someone from Jason’s past interrupts their summer getaway…
When Jason turns cold and distant, the party scene beckons Sydney to return to her old drink-all-night ways. Only this time the guys at the bar don’t hold her attention, but when Sydney’s drink is drugged by a so-called friend—she kisses one of them. When Jason finds out, he leaves the beach house to clear his head, but a couple hours quickly turn into days.
It’s hard to have a wedding without the groom…
This summer is nothing like what Sydney had planned, and for the first time she’s afraid of the future. Sydney finally figured out what she wants and she isn’t willing to let Jason go without a fight. But is it already too late? Sydney will risk everything to…
piece herself, and the life she wants, back together again.
Excerpt 1:

Next year was my senior year, and I’d be attending classes
as a married woman at the age of twenty-two.
God, what did I get
myself into? I only wanted to have fun. Now my summer boy will be my husband.
How insane is that?
I stared down at my ring, watching it shine in the sun. The
diamond captured the light perfectly, turning it into a rainbow of color. For
the rest of my life I’d wear a ring on my left hand. Forever Jason was going to
own my heart. He was a better keeper than I. My heart surrendered to a cage of
ice when it was in my possession. With Jason it was warm and cared for.
Someone cleared their throat a few feet in front of me. I
looked up and found Jason giving me one of his signature grins. That smile made
my stomach feel like it was filled with butterflies.
“Hey, Syd. Admiring your awesome rock, I see?” He chuckled,
sitting down next to me.
A blush burnt my cheeks. “Maybe. My phone’s dead, so I’m
bored. How was your test?”
He shook his head. “I told you last night you should plug
your phone in, but you never listen.”
I flipped my hair over my shoulder. “Because I would’ve
forgotten it on my way out.”
“Not if I unplugged it and put it in your bag before I left
for class.” He grabbed my left hand, running his thumb over my ring. “I’m good
at taking care of you, Syd.”
A shy smile tugged my lips upward. “Yeah, I know.” I leaned
forward and kissed him. He tasted like mint and coffee. I wanted to drink him
in and let everything else go. His teeth grazed my bottom lip, sending a coil
of need through my core.

Excerpt 2:
Jason put his fingers to my lips, killing my words. “Just
don’t scream…”
His mouth was on my collarbone, moving lower. His other hand
was at my back, trying to undo my bra as his left continued to rub me down
south.
I had to bite my lip to keep quiet. He tore off my shirt and
unhooked my bra. His shirt peeled off, and we were chest to chest. I straddled
him, rubbing myself on his member, awaking it.
Jason’s eyes rolled back. I sealed my lips to his to keep us
both from moaning. His fingers found their way to my breasts, rolling my
nipples into hard pebbles, making the ache within me grow into a raging fire.
I unbuttoned his jean shorts and moved his zipper down. To
remove his shorts, I had to move off of him and pull them all the way down. A
smile came to my lips when I found he was wearing Scooby-Doo boxers.
“How cute. I knew these would look good on you.” I had
bought them for him a few days ago, and he laughed, but I wasn’t sure if he’d
actually wear them. Guess I knew now.
A wicked grin took his lips. “Baby, I wore them just for
this moment.” With that, he placed his hands on both my sides and yanked not only
my shorts, but also my underwear down my legs.
I bent down and received a condom from his jeans’ pocket.
Our eyes locked as I bit it open and removed the condom. Jason leaned his head
back as I stroked his cock before sliding the rubber in place.
“You ready, baby?” I ran my hands through my hair, trying to
get it out of my face.
“I’m always ready for you.” His breath was uneven, and his
eyes locked upon me like I was the only girl in the world.
The pounding between my legs intensified, knowing it was about
to get what it desired. I placed my legs on either side of his hips. We kissed
as I slowly moved myself down upon him, letting my walls move and allow him
inside.
His hand caressed my breasts, bringing the left one to his
mouth. He gingerly bit it, making me throw my head back with a moan. His hand
went to my lips. I nibbled the pad of his thumb as I rocked myself against him.
The photo album slipped off the couch onto the floor. I looked down at it for a heartbeat. How times have changed for the better. That album could retire. This summer, I was going to have a new album…a wedding album.

Excerpt 3:
“Hey, did I wake you?” I crawled into bed and snuggled close
to him again.
He enveloped in me his arms. “No, but I moved my arm and
felt only empty space. I guess that woke me.”
I nuzzled his neck. “We’ve become that lovesick couple,
haven’t we?”
He chuckled, making his Adam’s apple bounce. “Maybe, but
we’re getting married. I think people expect us to love each other so much it
makes others nauseous.”
I traced his hair line down his stomach to the edge of his
boxers. “I guess. What should we do today? Amelia and Hunter are gone all day
and maybe all night too.”
Jason kissed the top of my head. “Remind me why they’re
ditching us?”
I sat up, propping myself up on my elbow. “Amelia wants a
little break from wedding planning and to enjoy the summer with her boyfriend.”
I shrugged, raking my teeth over my bottom lip. Jason’s breath hitched. The
reaction I was hoping for. “I don’t want to leave the bedroom today. I think we
need a break from the wedding too…” I rubbed my lips together and looked up at
Jason through my lashes.
“That’s one of the best ideas I’ve heard.” He flipped me
onto my back and kissed my collarbones. I wiggled under him. He knew I
preferred being on top and liked to tease me.
“Come on, baby. You’re killing me.” I couldn’t get out from
under him. His body pinned me to the bed.
He cackled, grabbing both my wrists in one hand and holding
them above my head. “Be still, and I’ll let you go.” His tongue ran down my
throat to my chest. He nibbled at the top of my breast. His free hand unhooked
my bra, freeing my breasts. “I love it when you only sleep in a bra and
panties.”

Too bad the snowpocalpyse of the century has different plans for him and Abby Winters. Before the night’s over, they find themselves snowed in at the most luxurious hotel in the city.Abby’s scouting job of a NYC penthouse should be quick, simple, and definitely shouldn’t include a sexy-as-hell man messing up the 3000 count sheets that will be featured in her company’s next blockbuster hit. Not when she’s up for a promotion that could skyrocket her entire career in the film industry. Still, she can’t refuse what the weather gods so obviously want her to have. She’ll give in, just this once.

Leaving is tougher than either of them could have imagined. But they’re two people who have nothing in common, living on opposite coasts. There’s no way they can ever be together. Right?

EXCERPT

“You going to do something about that?” He nodded down to his very prevalent erection as it pressed into her stomach.

“Maybe. You stopped me before I could get going, though.” Who the hell was she, that she was completely down with sucking a guy’s cock and giving him a handy in one day? This obviously must be an illness. Sex sickness.

That was a real thing, right? It had to be, or else she’d gotten a little haphazard on washing her hands while traveling and was now infected with a brain-eating bacteria that turned her into a sex fiend. That was…less likely. Whatever it was, she couldn’t bring herself to care, because all she wanted was Gage’s hands on her, and for him to fix the need that ached between her thighs.

“And what did I say before?”

She thought for a moment, her brain still fuzzed over with must have Gage. Need now. “That you’re in charge?”

“Exactly. Let me take care of you,” he whispered in her ear.

Excerpt from THE DARKEST LINK:

Copyright © 2016 by Scarlett Cole

“What is this?” she asked, running her hand over the elongated hood.

“A 1958 Ford Thunderbird. It was a shell when I bought it. Was found in an unused barn with a bunch of other old classics.”

The wheels were black with white faces, and the soft top was a creamy white. Reflections from the chrome cast light onto the white walls.

“I love it,” she said, excited to sit inside.

“Hood up or down?” Kenny asked, slipping her cases into the trunk.

“Oh, most definitely down,” Lia said. Screw the victory rolls, she could always put her hair into a high ponytail and add the red ribbon she had in her purse if her scarf failed. She reached into her bag to find it and tied it around her head.

“I like this,” Kenny said, fingering the knot under her chin gently. The way his eyes crinkled at the corners made her feel all kinds of gooey inside. Perhaps it was a good thing they lived a long drive away from each other. His very presence made it difficult to remember why she was taking some time off from men. But a little harmless flirtation was adding to the adventure of a few days off work. There couldn’t be any harm in that.

Once inside the car, Kenny took her hotel details and plugged them into his phone. “There are few downsides to the classics, but lack of sat-nav has to be one,” he said, turning the radio on. “Ready?”

“I feel like Thelma and Louise about to drive over the edge of the cliff,” she said with a laugh.

“Close. That was a 1966 Ford Thunderbird, eight years younger than this baby. Does that make me J.D.?”

“That depends. Are you planning on driving me to a motel, having your wicked way with me on the dresser, then stealing my life savings?”

“I know a motel, don’t know if they have a dresser, but more than willing to do a drive-by to find out.”

Lia laughed. “I was joking.”

“I wasn’t. Say the word, Red.”

He revved the engine several times, the low growl sexy as all hell, and grinned as he roared out onto the street. Lia watched his hand as he shifted the stick. He caressed the gear stick. The more she stared, the more turned on she became until she had to cross her legs and look out of the window.

Damn him for getting her so hot and bothered. She spared a glance back toward him, just as he turned to face her. And he winked. Because he knew.

And that just turned her on even more.

TBRreview

Such an amazing story for Lia!! You definitely need to read the other books first or some events won’t make sense.
Reid is such a sweetheart! And he fits right in with the guys at Second Circle. Who I just love all those Second Circle people. They’re funny, quirky in their own way and the best family any of them could have.
5 stars!
