LHL.jpg

Lucias Houston is president of the Ghost Riders MC. He carries the club on this shoulders with nothing but his brothers on his mind. Until he lays eyes on her.

Elizabeth “Izzy” Force is a veterinarian who spends her time either working, or gaming online. Her life is simple and she likes it just fine…until a baby bulldog pulls in the hottest-looking beast of a man she’s ever seen.

They come from two very different worlds, but they’re about to collide. Can Lucias convince Izzy he’s worth the risk?

Warning: This is an MC book like no other. There’s no cheating, no sweet butts, and it has all the sweet, cheesy goodness Alexa Riley stirs up. Saddle up and ride!

TBRreview

I am addicted to Alexa Riley!  I started reading this book ASAP because Insta-love, uber alphas and an MC?  Sign me up!  I devoured the book and then the other 2 books in the series.

Besides the fact this is my new guilty obsession (Alexa Riley), Izzy is a vet.  I LOVE ANIMALS!!!  So I knew I was going to immediately finish the series ASAP.

Lucias is HOT!  He sees Izzy and that’s it.  He will stop at nothing to spend time with her, including adopting a bulldog puppy.

I love Izzy and Lucias and all of the MC relationships.  This steamy, quick read isn’t like most MCs in that there isn’t a communal “girl pool” that the guys all pull from.  The girls aren’t allowed in the clubhouse unless they’re an old lady.  And these guys are all about their woman once they find her.  They aren’t after proving they’re alpha by banging anything they can.

5 stars!

CHAPTER ONE

Izzy

Sitting on the end of the bed in the dark, I rub my eyes, trying to relieve a little bit of the tension. Even after my shower, I still feel the day coating me. At least I have the next few days off from the clinic. Maybe I can finally catch up on some sleep.

Sadly, I was actually relieved when I got the call from the police department to tell me my brother was in jail. He won’t be out until he sees the judge, and there’s nothing I can do for him until that point. That takes things out of my hands, and I don’t have to decide if I’m willing to fork over the money to bail him out. Again. Who am I kidding? I know I would.

“I’m sorry, Grandma,” I whisper.

No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to keep my brother out of trouble. He has a way of falling into it, and I know for a fact he’s mixed up with a motorcycle gang now. It’s something I know nothing about. I spend my days working and my nights with my nose stuck in a book. Or raiding with my guild. My brother and I couldn’t be more different. How we both shared a womb at one time, I have no idea.

We’re twins, but while I went to college, made perfect grades, and wanted nothing to do sex, parties, and drugs, that’s all Dusty seems to do. I don’t even know what he does for a living, but he always appears to have a ton of cash just as quick as he seems to be broke. My guess would be drugs. He’d put our grandma who raised us through hell until she took her last breath.

Pulling the covers back on the bed, I start to crawl under when I hear a noise coming from the front of the house. I reach for my phone on the night stand and come up empty. Shit. I left it in the living room along with my laptop. Double shit.

I wait another second, just to be sure I’m not freaking out, but then I hear another sound.

I open the bedside drawer and pull out my grandfather’s revolver. I’ve been keeping it in the drawer since my brother moved back home. It’s not that I was scared of him. No, I was scared of who he hung around with. I’d come home early one night to find him and three other men in the living room, and after that, I wasn’t taking any chances.

The feelings they gave me made my blood run cold. Dusty pulled me aside and scolded me for coming home early and interrupting him in whatever it was he was doing. I had to call before I came home to my own house? This house was equally ours. It was left to both of us by our grandma, but he hadn’t lived here for years. Until recently. As much as it pissed me off that he expected me to call if I was coming home early, I did after that because I didn’t have the urge to run into his friends ever again.

I don’t know crap about motorcycle gangs, but what I do know, I want no part of. I’ll stick to my Warcraft guilds and gamebattle friends. I’ve never met any of them personally, but I highly doubt they look like my brother’s friends.

Slowly opening my bedroom door, I listen for another sound. This time, there’s nothing. Maybe it was the wind, I think to myself, waiting for a few minutes, still not hearing anything. The alarm would have gone off, I keep telling myself.

I creep down the hall and almost make it almost to the living room when a sound draws my eyes to the dining room. Without thinking, I scream and pull the trigger. The bang goes off louder than I thought possible, the recoil making my arm kick back, and I drop the gun.

“Fucking shit shit shit!” I hear a woman’s voice exclaim before I’m crushed to the ground by a body so big it feels like a giant concrete boulder landed on me and knocked the air out of my lungs.

The room floods with light, and I stare up at the scariest face I’ve ever seen. Scars run down his face in angry lines. His hard blue eyes look deadly. I push against him, and he actually yields to my efforts, but he takes me with him as he stands, grabbing me by my arm in a firm, unbreakable hold.

“Find him,” Scarred Guy barks, his voice just as scary as his face. Some tall skinny guy takes off through my house, and I study the man still holding my arm. He’s as big as a concrete boulder. “She’s losing a good amount of blood.” I look over and see a man on his knees next to a dark-haired woman who is holding her leg.

“No fucking shit, Sherlock,” the woman on the ground snaps. “I’ve been shot. Vincent is going to kill me. I can hear his mouth already. I’ve been playing with guns my whole life. My whole fucking life. Never been shot. I do this one small task, and this thing shoots me.”

Her eyes snap over to me, and she glares at me so hard she could give Scarred Guy a run for his money. I just stand there. I can’t seem to form a sentence as I just watch what’s playing out in front of me. I’m not even sure if I’m breathing at this point.

“Nothing, man. No one is here.” The skinny guy searching the house comes back to join us, a little out of breath. “Is she Pinch’s bitch?” he asks, nodding at me.

I know Pinch is my brother. I’ve heard a few other people call him that. I look around the room to see everyone is wearing leather jackets. The one leaning over the dark-haired woman makes the writing on the back easy to read. Ghost Riders.

“I knew I should have shot that little shit with more than a rubber bullet,” the woman says, trying to pull herself to her feet. But as she does, her legs give out on her, and she lands back down on her ass.

“Goddamn it, Casper! Sit the fuck still.”

“I’m not going to a hospital.” She pushes the man, and I see the bloodstain spread on her jeans.

“Stop that! You’re making it worse. You need medical attention. Stitches at the least. That much is clear,” I exclaim, unable to help myself.

“You a doctor or some shit?” the scarred man gripping my arm asks, looking down at me.

“No. Veterinarian.”

“Good enough. Get Cas in the truck and clean that blood off the floor.”

The man next to Cas picks her up and heads out the front door while she mumbles about some Vincent guy. Why hasn’t the alarm gone off? The skinny guy picks up the gun I dropped and cleans up the blood on the floor with his shirt.

“You got a medical kit?”

I nod my head.

“Good. Get it. If you try something…” He doesn’t have to say what will happen if I try something. I get the message loud and clear. I won’t be trying anything.

He finally lets me go, and I run to the front door and pick up the medical bag I keep for emergency calls.

“Make sure everything is cleaned up. I don’t know if anyone heard that shot,” Scarred Guy barks.

“Got it, Savage. See you at the compound.”

Savage grabs me by the arm once again and pulls me outside. As the cold air hits my legs, I realize I have nothing on but a shirt that barely hits mid-thigh, underwear, and socks.

I start to protest, but he pushes me into a truck. Cas is lying on the back seat, and the man who carried her out sits behind the wheel. Savage, whose every inch embodies his name, slams the door and informs me of my fate.

“She dies, you die.”

TBRreview

Growling for Mine by Alexa Riley is a quick, hot read with Bleu (a bear shifter) and Lola.  Lola’s car crashed and is trapped when Bleu comes across her.  Immediately Bleu is drawn to Lola and is determined to help her (and keep her). Lola is escaping from her life and Bleu offers a great distraction.

I have completely grown to love the Alexa Riley insta-love books.  Sometimes you need a quick, no angst, novellas.   They’re always a quick read and whether it’s a shifter or not, I love them all.  I like an immediate couple rather than so many issues they will never get together.

5 sizzling hot stars!

“If you don’t stop, I’m going to take you back to the room and give you what you’ve been begging for. Or is that what you’re after?”

Mandy giggles and leans into Charles, and I watch from behind them, trying my best not to eavesdrop. It’s not hard to overhear from just a few paces away, and I’m also trying my best not to look envious of the couple, but I can’t help that either.

I clear my throat to remind the casino owner that I’m still here, and they turn to look as if surprised to see me. Mandy blushes and looks away while Charles just smiles his devilish grin. Mr. and Mrs. Townsend have built the Snake Eyes casino into something wonderful, and I’m here today to talk about some opportunities for our casinos to work together.

I’ve owned the Blue Diamond casino for a few years now, taking it from a downtrodden, shabby dive to a shining jewel. I’ve been looking to expand some of our entertainment venues, and Charles is looking for the same. If we are able to work together, we both look to double our revenue, and it’s hard to turn down something like that. It’s unusual for casinos to promote one another, but Charles and I are birds of a feather. We both have a head for business and a strong work ethic. Although since Charles has gotten married, I can see he’s slowed down just a bit.

I would have slowed down with Tiffany. The thought enters my mind before I can stop it, and it hits me in the gut. I’m usually in better control of myself than that, but being close to a couple who are obviously so in love is eating away at me. My jealousy is palpable, and I have the urge to go throw up.

For years I searched for her. Do you know how many Tiffany Smiths are in the world? Fifty-two thousand, seven hundred and fifty-nine. And that’s assuming she didn’t change her name. I’ve gone through countless private detectives and more money than a normal man could make in a lifetime trying to find her. False hope and women pretending to be her have broken me over the years. I’ve built my empire in the hopes that one day she might find me. Hell, I even named my casino after her. I’ll never forget her bright blue eyes. I see them every time I close my own. Somewhere in my heart, I always thought we would find one another, but maybe she’s with someone else, moved on. The thought makes me clench my fists and grit my teeth. I only have myself to blame. I should have found her by now.

“You doing okay, Ethan?” Charles’s words snap me out of my angry guessing game, and I just nod, following him through the casino lobby.

“Have you seen Foxy’s new show?” Mandy asks, obviously trying to bring us back to business.

“No, I’m afraid I haven’t had the time. But I’ve heard great things.” We pass one of her posters for the old show, and I get a funny feeling in my stomach. It happens every time I see something that reminds me of my Tiffany. The poster is of a woman, turned away from the camera with only her head and shoulders visible. Her hair is white blonde with a pink bow pinned in it. The words Foxy Bow are emblazoned across the bottom in glitter. The picture doesn’t show her face, but the blonde hair makes me think of my girl. This is Vegas, though, and a bottle of bleach is on every street corner.

“Oh, we need to have these changed out. They are the old promotional banners. Come around the front and see the new one. I think they installed it just this morning.”

“Sure, sounds great.” I don’t know why I’m melancholy all of a sudden, but I think it’s because Tiffany is on my mind so much lately.

As we walk through the casino, I try to pay attention to the conversation. Charles and Mandy are discussing plans for the casinos and what they want as far as the future of our partnership is concerned. I spend most of my life working to get noticed by someone I haven’t seen in ten years. Someone who may or may not want to see me. Someone who may or may not even be alive.

I stop that train of thought as soon as it enters my mind. I would know if my soul was gone. I would feel it in my bones if she wasn’t still breathing. I’d know it.

The day I was pulled apart from her was the worst day of my life. When I was put in the back of that cop car by DCP, I begged them to take me back. I knew that if I was separated from her, something bad would happen. If I didn’t have my eyes on her at all times, he would get to her. I just knew her father was waiting for his chance.

When we got down to the police station, it turned out that they had found a relative of mine. I’d gone into foster care after my mother died. I was placed with the Mark family, who just happened to live next to my Tiffany. When I was at the darkest point in my life, it was like God sent her to me. To shine light on my dark world.

They found my grandfather, but he had recently passed, leaving everything he had to me. A pile of money and a casino that wasn’t turning a profit. As soon as the cops let me go, I raced back to Tiffany, only to find her gone. I beat the shit out of her father but later realized he didn’t know where she went either. So I started looking for her and building a life for us. Taking what my grandfather left me and increasing it tenfold. For her. For us.

“There she is. Our star.” Mandy waves her hand up, and I follow her line of sight.

I look up, seeing a huge banner stretched across the front entrance of the hotel, and as her ice blue eyes stare back at me, my knees go weak. It’s her. It’s my Tiffany. Clutching my chest, I nearly collapse to the floor, and Charles and Mandy rush to help me.

“Where?” I manage to choke out, but they don’t respond. They look at one another as if they’re confused. Like my whole world isn’t about to explode.

Where is Tiffany?!” I bellow, and it echoes off the black marble walls.

“She’s about to go on stage. What the fuck is wrong, Ethan?” Charles is still holding my arm to steady me, but I break free and run as fast as I can to the other side of the casino. My legs burn and my chest aches. It can’t be possible. It can’t be true. Please God, let it be true.

I don’t know what happens, or who I knock over to get there, but when I get to the entrance, security is there to try to stop me. I feel a sudden rage come over me and I turn, punching someone who puts a hand on me.

I see Charles out of the corner of my eye. He’s holding up his hands and telling people to let me pass. He must see that I’m in a fury that won’t be stopped.

When I get past the entrance, I walk into a dark room, seeing the stage at the end, and I watch the curtains part. A bright light centers on the woman, and all the air leaves my lungs.

Standing there, glowing with perfection, is my girl.

Release Blitz ~ Lassoing the Virgin Mail Order Bride ~ by ~ Alexa Riley

Lassoing Alexa Riley

AP - Synopsis.jpg

When Clare Stevens walked onto the McCallister ranch, she expected her life to be a certain way. She was the mail-order bride of the owner, and she was to fulfill her duties. Clean the house, cook for his men, and warm his bed at night. What she didn’t expect was the beefy cowboy who walked in and literally swept her off her feet.

Cash McCallister didn’t have time to date and find a wife. So a mail-order bride seemed the easiest way to find a partner. He thought he’d made a mistake until he laid eyes on the little piece of sunshine that lit up his life. He never imagined a true love like this. He never knew an obsession could take hold so tightly.

When drama hits the farm and their fast love is threatened, can Clare and Cash hold it together?

Warning: This is literally as cliché as it sounds…and just as awesome. It’s country living with high-calorie foods and easy sunsets. Come sit on the porch and stay a while. You’ll like what you see.

A Taste Of Cash…

He reaches out, grabbing one of my curls. “The Johnsons aren’t home, you know. Went to a cattle show. Only one there is June. How long has he been gone over there with her?”
My body freezes at his words. He’s been gone for over an hour now. I turn to bat his hand away from my hair and tell him to leave, but before I can, he’s gone. A loud crash fills the porch as Billy is pulled away from me and he hits the house. Cash’s hand is around his throat, and Billy is starting to turn red.
Cash has him a good foot off the ground. I hadn’t noticed how short the other man was, but now that Cash is next to him, it really shows.
“You think you can come on my land and fucking touch my wife?” Cash’s face is so close to Billy’s I have to step to the side a little to see him. His face is turning purple now, and I don’t think Cash is really looking for an answer to his question. It’s clear the man won’t be able to talk with how tight Cash’s squeezing his throat.
“You don’t look at her, you don’t talk to her. In fact, you don’t even know she fucking exists.” Cash is so mad I can feel the anger pulsing off him in waves. He continues to choke Billy, and all I can do is stand there, shocked by how fast everything’s happened. I don’t even know where Cash came from. It was like he knew a man touched me, and poof, he just materialized. That actually would not shock me at this point.
“Fuck!” I hear someone yell, pulling my eyes from the scene in front of me. I see Earl and three other hands with him start to run towards the porch. They head for Cash and try to peel him off the other man. It takes all four of them to finally get Cash off Billy. When Cash lets go, Billy slides down, his ass hitting the porch. His hand goes to his throat as he coughs over and over again. I look back to Cash, who’s still being held back by the men as they try to calm him down, but it doesn’t seem to be working.
He keeps pulling to get free, wanting back at Billy.
“He fucking touched her.” He lunges again, this time breaking free of two of the hands, and I jump in front of him. He halts, almost running right into me, and I throw myself into his arms, wrapping myself around him. No way he’ll keep going at Billy if I’m locked around him. If we don’t stop him, I’m starting to think he might kill the man.
His hands go to my ass, catching me easily. I pull back and cup his face. “You marrying me today or you going to jail?” I ask him as I lean in, my lips just a breath from his, and I can see his face visibly relax.
“Marrying you.”
“Think we should practice that kissing part again?” I tease him, brushing my lips across his.
He takes my mouth. The kiss is hard and demanding, almost knocking the air right out of my lungs. I can feel everything he felt moments ago. All the adrenaline still pumping through his body, only now he’s using it on me. He pulls back sooner then I want, breaking the kiss.
“Get him off my land,” Cash says, not taking his eyes from mine as he starts to carry me towards the house.
“I’m calling the Sheriff. He’ll hear about this.”
“When you call him, can you tell him he still owes me a hundred dollars from our last poker night?” I hear Earl say as Cash kicks the door closed behind us and places me on my feet.
His eyes run over me, and I can see the rest of the tension leave his body.
“Goddamn, you look perfect.” His voice is gruff, but he takes a step back from me.
I take a step towards him, and he holds one hand up.
“Barely hanging on, sweetheart. I gotta get you to the courthouse, and if you touch me right now with how I’m feeling, I’ll snap and take you right on this floor.”
“There’s more than what just happened out there, isn’t there?” I ask, pointing to the door we just came through.
“Yeah. I was already fucking pissed before I saw Billy reach out and touch you. I went right over the edge after that.”

“What happened?”
“Nothing. Not a goddamn thing.”
I just stare at him. Cash runs a hand over his face, then pulls it through his dark hair.
“I went to the Johnsons’ and they weren’t there.”
“But June was.”

“But June was,” he confirms, making me uneasy. I don’t like that one bit.
“I sat and waited and waited some more while June ran her mouth. Baby, you know how I feel about that voice of hers.” He says it like he was tortured, making me roll my eyes.
“She offered me something to drink. I said no and that if her mom and dad weren’t back in the next five minutes, I was gone. That’s when she fucking lost it. Tried to throw herself at me. I dodged her, and she hit the floor. Hard. Then she started crying.” He studies me for a second, and I can tell there’s more and he doesn’t want to say it.
“What, Cash? Just say it.”
“I just stepped over her and left.”
“Okay.”
“Okay?” He mimics my response. “You’re not mad? I thought you’d be pissed I just left her there crying. Last time she started with those tears, you told me to be nice. I thought—”
“That’s what got you so mad?”
“Big fucking part.” He lets out a deep breath. “All I kept thinking was that if you had to listen to some man talk for thirty minutes about how you should marry him, I’d lose it. Then I came around that corner and there’s a man standing on my goddamn porch fucking touching you.” He yells the last part.
I just shake my head and walk over to him, placing my hands on his chest, smiling up at him.
“How can you be smiling? I still want to go back out there and beat the shit out of someone.”
“I’m smiling because you’re so jealous. You’re even jealous for me over you.” I start to laugh because saying it out loud makes it ever funnier.
He just shakes his head.
“We should go get married. I think that might help.” I’m not sure who he’s trying to convince, me or him.
“Sure it will,” I tease.
“Maybe if you were walking around here with a round little belly, that might help, too,” he adds.
“Can we focus on one thing at a time here? The wedding first,” I remind him.
“We get this wedding done and I’m going to be focusing on that real hard.”
“Promises, promises,” I tease.
He leans down and places a soft kiss on my lips.
“This is going to be the fastest wedding this town has ever seen.”

Release Day Blitz & Review ~ Curvy ~ by Alexa Riley

Curvy_Ecover_Final.jpg

AP - Synopsis.jpg

The first time Flynn Long sees her, she’s lying on a bed in lingerie. The picture is soft, just like her curves, and instantly he’s obsessed.

Cali Carr is at the end of her full-figure modeling career when she’s hired for a new campaign. But when the owner of the company steps out of the shadows and starts calling the shots, a job is the last thing it feels like.

Love at first sight isn’t supposed to be real. One touch isn’t supposed to ignite so much. A single picture isn’t supposed to drive a man insane. But luckily for us it’s happening in Curvy!

Warning: Over the top isn’t strong enough for what this short story is. It’s velvety sweetness coated in insta-love cheese, and it’s waiting for you to take a bite.

 TBRreview

** ARC provided in exchange for an honest review **

Curvy by Alexa Riley was a hot, steamy, quick read that was insta-love as soon as Flynn & Cali met.  And granted, I love a complicated story but I also like an insta-love, especially when the man is hot hot like Flynn!  😉  I like that Cali is a plus sized model who owns it.  So many people are uncomfortable in their own skin (myself included) that I LOVE to read a book about a woman who might not be the 36-24-36 (only if she’s 5’3 – please someone get that reference!) and ROCKS her body and personality.

I really liked this insta-love and would really like to read more!  I like to switch up my genres and this definitely fit the bill.

4 stars!

Chapter 1 *Flynn*

“You told me you had this under control. That was the only reason I agreed to invest in a women’s lingerie line.”

I look down at the sales charts of Curved Intimates, a company we invested in over six months ago. It’s bleeding money, and I’m close to just scrapping the whole project and be done with the headache. I have enough on my plate as it is.

When you invest in as many things as Breakstone Corp does, you can’t be surprised when not all of them work out. But I had agreed with Mark when he brought this proposal to me. It was supposed to be the next Victoria’s Secret. The pitch was good and the women’s market wasn’t one we had worked our way into yet. Mark said it was something he really wanted to take on, so we went for it.

I know shit about fashion. I pay someone to shop for me and pick out my clothes. I know even less about women’s undergarments. Fuck, I can’t even remember the last time I saw a real woman in her underwear.

I run my hands over my face, trying to relieve some of the tension headache that’s starting to build. It’s already six o’clock and it looks like I’m going to be here another four hours at least.

“Lynn from marketing is waiting outside. She seems to think she’s come up with something.” Mark shifts uncomfortably, probably scared I’m going to fire him. But this is the first time he’s ever missed the mark like this before. He’s eager and good at his job, but if I had a wife and three kids, I’d probably worry if I fucked up, too. You can’t win them all, and I can’t fault him for wanting to try to branch us out to something new. It showed enthusiasm, and it’s the very reason I’d hired him

I flip through the last marketing ads in the folder again. They look standard, but there’s nothing special about the pictures, nothing that draws attention. They look like every other ad for women’s underwear you’ve ever seen. There’s no clear branding and nothing that stands out about this line.

“I hope it’s better than this shit.” I toss the folder back across the desk at him.

“I’ve been working with marketing. They have a few ideas I really like and—”

I cut him off. I want to get this show on the road. “Mark, calm down. I’m not going to fire you over this. We’ll hear marketing’s ideas, and we either do them or we drop the whole fucking thing.”

Mark nods before heading over towards the door, letting Lynn into my office. She shuffles over to my desk clutching a pile of binders so high I can’t even see her face. The stack almost looks bigger than her. I’m not sure how she’s made it all the way up here with them.

“Sir, can I get you or anyone else a drink?” Sally, my assistant, asks as she stands in the doorway to my office. I know the only reason she’s offering is because other people are in here. She stopped getting me my coffee years ago, telling me she didn’t have a degree in business so she could waste it on fetching coffee. She’s an expensive pain in the ass I couldn’t live without. Luckily for me, her kids are off in college and her husband doesn’t seem to mind the long hours I often need her to work. I have a feeling she’s made me dependent on her on purpose. There’s no way I could fire her or her smart mouth.

“I’m good, Sally.” I look to Lynn and Mark, who both say, “No, thanks,” before Lynn goes back to trying to get her binders in the order she likes. One falls off the top, landing open, making my whole body go still at the image.

The woman in the photo is lying on a bed, her legs in the air and crossed at the ankles. She has on fishnet stockings that lead up her legs to her thick thighs. She’s wearing high-waisted black underwear that shows off her wide hips, giving her an old-school pinup feel, and a sexy bra that barely contains her full breasts, the material just covering the essentials. Every part of her is thick and luscious. All the blood in my body flows to my dick. I’ve never had a reaction like this to a woman. I’m too old to get a fucking hard-on from seeing a woman in a picture. She’s not even naked. Just the sight of her in her underwear has me nearly bursting in my slacks.

I see Mark out of the corner of my eye as he takes a step towards my desk to see what’s caught my attention. I slam the binder closed, not wanting him to see her. Possessiveness flows through me, and I look at Lynn, who’s still going through the binders. When I look at Mark, he has his eyebrows raised in question.

I pick the binder up and open it to show Lynn. When Mark takes another step to see what I’m showing her, I can’t hold back.

“Don’t,” I bite out, making him pause, the confusion on his face growing. “Who is this?” I demand, needing more information on her. Anything.

“Oh. Just an idea I was thinking about. Going a little old school with some of the looks and appealing to all body types.”

“Her name?” I push, and she reaches for the binder. I pull it back, not wanting it taken from me. Almost like a toddler with his favorite toy.

“If you flip a few pages, it should be in the front. Before her pictures start,” she says, seeing that I’m not going to give her back the binder.

I turn the book around to me and hurriedly flip through the pages until I get to the front.

Cali Carr.

Measurements: 40”/32”/48” (Bust/Waist/Hips)

Dress size: 14 Shoe Size: 8

I turn the page, hoping there’s another picture of her. The one on the bed made it hard to see her face. I flip to the next page, and I literally have to sit down in my chair. She’s smirking in the picture. Her full lips are just as lush as the rest of her. Her skin is flawless, a creamy white making the little freckles that sprinkle her upturned button nose even more noticeable.

But what really got me are her stunning eyes. They’re a deep green like nothing I’ve never seen before. In contrast with her red hair, they are unmissable.

“Sir,” I hear Lynn say, and I look up at her. I have no idea how long I’ve been staring at the picture.

“I want her.”

“Okay. I’ll put her on the list. I have a few more for you to look at.”

She tries to hand me another binder, but I have no desire to look at pictures of other women. What would be the point? They’d all pale in comparison. I’ve just seen perfection and I know nothing could beat it.

“No. I’ll leave it to you and Mark to handpick the rest of the girls for the shoot.” I stand up from my chair.

“Or course, sir. We’ll get it all worked out.”

“The shoot will be next week,” I tell them. I want to see her as soon as possible.

“I don’t think—”

“It will be next weekend. If the model’s photographer or something can’t make it, book someone else. But she,” I hold up the binder with her picture in it, “better be there. I don’t care what it costs.”

Standing up, I hold the binder in front of my crotch to hide my erection. I click the intercom.

“Sally, can you call my driver? I’m going down,” I inform her.

“Leaving already?” I can hear the shock in her voice.

“Yes.” I release the button. “Feel free to use my office until you’re done. I’ll see you tomorrow, Mark.” I head for the door with the binder still in front of me, hiding my very prominent arousal. I stop before I exit. “Send me any and all information you have on her, Lynn.”

“You’ll have it this evening,” she says, looking at me with big eyes.

I nod before exiting my office. I had better things to do tonight than spend it in my office. I have a binder half-full of pictures of my Cali.
