She loves music, a good book, red wine, chocolate, and to write twistedly suspenseful stories. Alpha men, rock stars, and sexy bikers are among her favorites, but don’t worry, if suspense isn’t your bag, she also writes funny tales about exceptionally hot men who are in desperate need of taming. In 2014, Hilliard published her first novel. She has since published multiple novels across several genres.

Amy Winstead is a twenty something video producer who loves Christmas more than anyone she’s ever known. This year, the holidays are gonna be a lot less happy because she can’t afford the plane ticket home to celebrate with her family, and her best and oldest friend Josh is moving halfway across the country for a new job that he couldn’t turn down.
When Josh asks her to accompany him on his road trip from Texas to Connecticut and offers to pay for her plane ticket back home, how could Amy say no? He’s promised some fun surprises on the trip, and more time with him could never be a bad thing.
One surprise Josh hasn’t planned on is the record-breaking blizzard heading their way. They decide to wait out the storm in the charming town of Holly Hill, where a little holiday magic and a lot of snow combine to help Josh and Amy realize that the something that’s always simmered between them could easily become something more…

Fate blessed me the moment Josh Abbott came into my life. It was just before his first birthday, when I was six weeks old. My mom set me down across his lap, posing us for a picture that I keep a copy of on my phone, one that’s framed and displayed on the fireplace mantel at my parents’ house.
In it, Josh is wearing this little yellow and blue striped t-shirt, his blonde hair a cute mess that was his trademark until we graduated from high school. I have on a light pink onesie with a hood that has ears on it. Josh grins down at me as I hold his finger in a white-knuckled grip.
Mom says neither one of us wanted to let go that day, and that’s when she and Josh’s mom, Gloria, knew we’d be best friends forever.
Twenty-six years later, we’re still inseparable…for the next six days, at least. That’s when Josh is loading up his car and making the drive from Austin to Connecticut to start a new job that he just couldn’t turn down. They offered him almost double his current salary; I can’t really blame him for ditching me right before my favorite holiday, honestly.
I’m trying to learn how to deal with it. Most days, I desperately lie to myself about how living without him won’t be as bad as I think. Then I wind up flip-flopping between being irrationally angry at him and unfathomably sad. I’m constantly 100% head-over-heels in love with him.
That’s my little secret, though.
For one brief moment, I had a sliver of hope that we were on the same page. He invited me out to dinner at our favorite place, and I’d gotten swept up in fantasies that he’d take my hands across the table, smile that gorgeous smile of his and say, “Ames, I’m in love with you.”
What he actually said was, “Ames, I’m moving back home. I got a job in New York.”
I can’t blame him for trying to soften the blow with barbecue, but I lost my appetite after that.
I haven’t really gotten it back. It’s worked out in my favor for the most part, since this time of year I’m working a schedule that doesn’t allow much time for eating. I’m an editor/producer for a social media baking star. We’re about four months ahead in the production schedule, so while it’s Christmas in real time, it’s been Easter in my world for the past few weeks. I’ve barely had time for a real meal, so I’ve basically just been inhaling the baked goods after we’ve finished taking pictures of them for Instagram.
Yesterday, I had a handful of almonds and a sizable portion of a bunny’s butt made out of yellow cake, raspberry jam, and the most amazingly fluffy buttercream frosting I’ve ever had.
At this point, my body is screaming, NUTRIENTS, PLEASE!
Josh knows me like the back of his hand, and has some kind of weird internal alarm that sounds whenever I’ve gone a few days without eating a vegetable. I’m positive that’s why he invited me over to eat, and why I gave him a hard time before I said yes.
I know I’m lucky to have a friend like him. He’s smart, he’s fun, he’s funny, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s model-gorgeous and an absolute pleasure to look at, especially when he’s in the kitchen making me dinner.

Cassie Cross is a Maryland native and a romantic at heart, who lives outside of Baltimore with her two dogs and a closet full of shoes. Cassie’s fondness for swoon-worthy men and strong women are the inspiration for most of her stories, and when she’s not busy writing a book, you’ll probably find her eating takeout and indulging in her love of 80’s sitcoms.

Ryan is out of the frying pan and into the fire, working in the oldest profession of all time to finish her last year of nursing school. This is the one time being at the top of her class hasn’t been enough. But one rash decision could end her dream of becoming a nurse before it even begins.

Melina Morales is a good girl.
A hardworking, ambitious, follows-all-the-rules girl. Maybe that’s why her coworkers call her the
ice queen. She might care if it weren’t for the looming pile of debt and her family’s dependence
on her. But with her dream job on the line, she’s determined to succeed, no matter the sacrifice.
There’s just one tiny, six-foot-something problem. . .
Zane Wilder is a bad boy.
The Holiday Springs bartender is the guy everyone turns to for a good time—especially the
women. Except lately he’s been unsatisfied. Maybe it’s got something to do with the drunken
kiss he shared with Melina, but since he’s not interested in commitment, he figures there’ll never
be a chance to find out.
When Melina agrees to one date in return for a favor, they both quickly realize there’s something
between them. But it’s going to take Zane a lot more than his fun-loving ways and easy charm
to convince the good girl to give him a serious shot.
This time, he’ll have to risk his heart.
Escape to the romantic paradise of Holiday Springs and warm up with your next happily ever
after.

“I knew he was into you!” Avery shouted. “I frickin’ told you so!”
“It’s only one date, Av.” One date and a huge pile of regret just waiting to happen. “Besides, he hasn’t confirmed the caterer yet. There won’t be a date if he doesn’t make good on his promise.”
“What. Ever. I have no doubt he’ll come through.” She pushed one of the shots of Jägermeister she’d ordered toward me, encouraging me to down it.
“God, I love being right.” She beamed at me as the liquor burned its way down my throat. “I told you he had a thing for you…I bet it’s a really big thing, too.” She smirked. “I bet it’s huge.”
If Olivia and Lucie were my teammates, Avery was our MVP. Best friends since we were five, she was like another sister to me. But like all siblings, sometimes I really didn’t like her much.
“I’ve got something huge for you over here, sweetheart,” one of the mountain men called.
“If that were true, you wouldn’t need to advertise it,” Avery called back, not missing a beat.
And sometimes, I really, really loved her.
“It’s one date,” I repeated, watching the burly guy try to hide his embarrassment at being schooled by a tiny blue-eyed blonde.
“But who knows where one date will lead. I mean, you two have already kissed.”
“Twice.”
She froze with her drink halfway to her mouth, both her eyes and lips round.
“He kissed me again this morning,” I confided.
As much as I loved and trusted Avery, I hadn’t planned on telling her this part—her current reaction being the main reason why. But the booze had loosened my tongue and a few of my inhibitions.
“Please close your mouth before big-dick guy offers you something to put in it,” I begged. “Zane kissing me is not that exciting. Or that simple.”
Liar. Liar. Liar.
“What’s complicated about it?” Her face screwed up in disbelief, the tint of pink in her cheeks upping her adorable factor. No wonder all the men stared; my best friend was a living doll. “Deny it all you want, Meli, but I know you like him.”
I swallowed back half my beer as I wrestled with that notion. She was right, of course; I did like him. But liking Zane magic-lips Wilder was never the issue.
“We work together, and he’s the resort owner’s nephew. What if it ends badly, or worse, what if my boss finds out?”
“Didn’t your boss meet her husband at the resort?”
I took another deep swig of beer and avoided answering her question.
But Avery kept on rolling. “In fact,” she mused, her head tilting to the side like a fascinated kitten. “Didn’t you mention he was her boss at the time? Call me crazy, but I think that’s fraternizing-101.”

They were soldiers, elevated to the point of being weaponized. They were beyond compare in all manner of warfare, and that was their only reason for living. With each passing day, they lost more and more of the individuals they once were. Technically, they could still be considered human, but they were now on that cusp of having just enough of their DNA tweaked, that they could possibly fall into the non-human category. Their needs were animalistic now — sleep, eat, fight and fornicate.
They’d become ‘other’, with no exact description to define what they were. They were simply… Variant.

Being a fighter is in my blood. My grandfather was a fighter, my father was a fighter, and I’m a fighter. I live for the rush of adrenaline and sensation of victory. When I fight, I give it my all. I step into the octagon and I fight until there’s nothing left to fight for.
He’s been my best friend for most of my life. I’ve fought with him, fought against him, and for the longest time I fought for him, for us. Until he pushed me away, leaving me no choice but to tap-out.
***
Fighting is what saved me. It shed the old me and I became a newer shinier version of myself. Until it took away everything I loved. I gave up and tapped out.
Then one day, she came back into my life and reminded me that some things in life are worth fighting for. Now I’m fighting for us, day by day, proving to her that our happily ever after is worth fighting for.
This book is a stand-alone MMA romance.

Charlie is everything I want and didn’t realize I need. It’s clear to me now that the woman I met at the club is only one layer of the woman I’m falling for. I’m a fixer by nature, but for the first time, I wouldn’t fix a thing. I want her just the way she is. Broken pieces and all. Who needs the fairy tale when we can have the reality?
Tristan is everything I want, yet don’t deserve. He’s loving, protective, smart, an amazing father, and he’s onto me. That’s why I need to speed this story up and tell him everything, so we can flip to the end of the book, and he and his daughter can move on to the next story. One where they get a happily ever after. Because there’s no story I’m a part of that ends in any way but tragedy.
*Clinched is a single dad romance that can be read as a complete standalone*

Mila
Pregnant and married at the young age of eighteen, I settled into my life not knowing there could ever be more.
Until Mason, with his sexy smirk and magnetic baby blue eyes. With a single look and a few words, he made me feel sexy and alive. But as quickly as he came into my life, he was gone, leaving me wanting more.
A few days later my mom died, and her final words of advice—life’s too short to settle—are what I vowed to live my life by. Not even a year after her death, I was divorced and ready to find the one.
Only I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to find someone who could make me feel the way Mason did. Five years later, and I’m still single, looking for my forever.
Mason
I’m the guy who fights and f*cks. The guy who goes fishing but never keeps what he catches. The responsibility that comes with commitment isn’t for me.
Until Mila comes back into my life making me want things I’ve never imagined wanting. Now, the man I’ve always been is quickly losing the fight against the man I want to be.
I’m supposed to want the woman who wants the right now. Yet, I’m falling for the woman who wants the forever.

My good mood instantly dissipates when I enter the building. Some asshole leans too damn close to Noelle, staring at her instead of the monitor as she points out something on her screen.
I’m not into men but even I know he’s attractive. Tall and tatted with that silver fox, daddy vibe going on that girls like, especially ones who have lost their parents and need someone to take care of them. Like this bastard seems to have figured out with Noelle. Motherfucker wants my Duchess. “Don’t think I won’t kill you if you don’t get the fuck away from her.”
I thrive on the terror blanching his face from my threat, and he jerks back from the counter, and most importantly, from my girl. Who unsurprisingly shoots up from her chair, horror bursting on her face from my fury.
“Whoa.” His palms fly up in quick surrender. He’s a pansy ass coward, but at least smart enough not to challenge me. “I just wanted to order–”
“I don’t give a fuck what you wanted. Leave or die, your choice.”
With fear rolling through his body, he shakes his head and hustles past me. Two seconds later the bell jingles before the door slams shut. Her gaze follows his path until slowly returning her huge eyes to meet mine.
“What in the world are you doing?”
She sounds absurdly shocked. As if she doesn’t understand what happened. As if she doesn’t realize what’s happening between us. “He was ogling you.”
“He was ordering a cake for his work!”
I stare at her in awe when I realize she genuinely believes the bullshit she’s spouting to me. I love my sweet naïve Duchess. She really has no idea how fucking magnificent she is. “Bullshit. No man orders a cake for his work.”
All rowdy with her little fists on her hips as she stares up at me. I like when she challenges me.
“You don’t know that.”
“I do know that. Men do everything for two reasons – money or women. He was pretending to care about icing flavors when he really wanted to devour you. When I walked in here, he was looking down your dress instead of at the pictures on your computer. He didn’t give a fuck about getting anything but you.”
Her head falls forward studying her neckline before her trembling hand pushes the gaping material flat against her chest. Shame floods her expression when she looks up again with the realization he could see the curves of her luscious tits peeking out of her bra. She stares at me, examining me to search for honesty or insanity or rationality. Finding all three, she shakes her head. “You are unbelievable.”
