I’ve never met a Ruth Cardello series I didn’t love! And the Westerly Billionaire series isn’t any different.

Alisha is helping out her good friend Spencer by agreeing to marry him so that he can access his trust fund. His grandmother put a condition on it that they each had to marry to receive their trust fund early. She loves Spencer (as a friend) and his family and so she agrees. Then she meets Spencer’s distant brother Brett…

Brett is a workaholic of epic proportions. But that’s what he was raised with and what was expected of him. He’s been a provider behind the scenes and he’s just fine with that. Until he meets his brother’s fiancée and can’t get her out of his mind. She’s fierce, spunky and says what’s on her mind. And he can’t deny that he’s wildly attracted to her and her personality.
This was my favorite (or one of my favorite) type of stories. Where the CEO (or workaholic executive) is attracted to the sassy woman who stands up for her friends. And thus, ultimately changes him in ways so he’s more approachable.

I hope Spencer’s story is next. Or Rachelle. I can’t decide!

I’ve always wondered about Zee. He’s always pretty much kept to himself and doesn’t let anyone in so his bandmates don’t know anything about the secret he’s hiding. He stepped in to take over for his brother after his death but he’s doing everything he can to prove that he’s not the hard partier/fighter that his brother was.

Alexis is trying to save her sister and gets in over her head until Zee saves her and determines that he needs to keep her safe. They form such a bond and relationship and it’s just awesome!

She pulled back and stepped out of his arms altogether. Callum let her go with regret and consoled himself with the fact that her eyes looked heavy with desire and, if he wasn’t incorrect, a little awe.

Alice nodded and walking over to her horse in what looked like a daze, mounted quickly, and joined her sister. “I’m sure we will, Lord Arndel, and sooner than you’d like, if you continue this type of thieving lifestyle. Do I make myself clear?”

“Very,” he said, watching as the women turned their mounts and cantered down the road before turning into the trees. Callum swore, running a hand through his hair. For all his teasing of the little minx, she’d still run off with his portable blunt and now he would have to send word to London and notify those his deceased cousin owed money to, that the debt would not be paid. Not with the jewels that had been required, at least. Damn it!
