Cover Reveal ~ Smoke & Lyrics ~ by ~ Holly Hall

Title: Smoke and Lyrics
Author: Holly Hall
Genre: NA/Contemporary Romance
Release Date: December 1, 2017
Cover Design: Kat Savage

Country star Jenson King is accustomed to fighting battles and losing–in his career, in his love life, and with alcohol. Following his divorce, thousands, if not millions, of fans are counting on his comeback. But how does one find the spark of passion when it’s long since burned out?

Lindsey Farrar wants nothing more than to prove herself as a music photographer. Fiery and independent, she’d work countless side jobs to fuel her dream rather than ride the coattails of someone else’s name to success. After a chance encounter, Lindsey shakes up everything Jenson believes about life and that other four-letter word.

After all he’s been through, Jenson isn’t willing to let anything meaningful slip out of his grasp. But Lindsey’s determined to shine all on her own, and Jenson casts an enormous shadow.

Holly Hall was raised in North Texas. She drinks coffee on the daily, would love to get paid to travel for a living, thinks animals are often better than humans, can count on one hand the number of things she loves more than reading and Texas A&M football (okay, that might be an exaggeration), and couldn’t handpick a better family than her enormous one. She is currently the reluctant resident of Houston, Texas with her husband and German shepherd. She is the author of three other standalone contemporary romances, Forever Grace, All the Pieces That You Left, and Love in Smoke.

Release Blitz ~ Tail ~ by ~ Rie Warren

Title: Tail
Series: Carolina Bad Boys #6
Author: Rie Warren
Genre: Erotic Romance
Release Date: November 6, 2017
I’m most known for honeys on my arms and notches on my bedpost. But this time, I’m not chasing tail. Every rose has its thorn, and I’ve just been snagged.

TAIL
I have girls lapping out of my hands, forming lines for a chance to dance on my cock. Until she shows up. And it all grinds to a halt. Madison Rose Rush. No joke there. One look at her, and I feel a rush all over my body. I want that thing all the other dudes found. Love. A mate. A classy broad I probably don’t deserve.

I know one thing.

Maddy Rush—Handsome’s sexy sister—is strictly off-limits.

Is that gonna stop me?

Hell. No. Not even with the Bad Seeds MC breathing down my neck for a debt I can’t pay.

MADDY
VP of Retribrewtion Brewery, heiress to the Rush Distillery empire, I’ve played by the family’s rules. I’m community-spirited, high-class, worldly-wise . . . but that doesn’t necessarily mean I’m a good girl.
And Tail makes me want to be bad in ways I never even knew. He’s dangerously gorgeous. He’s affiliated with the same MC as my big brother. He has inked sleeves and sex on the brain and Max warned me away from him.

Is that going to stop me?

Hell no.

Nothing will stop us. Nothing. Until a rival MC—outlaw bikers—retaliates against Tail. Bad Seeds indeed.
Midday, I rolled up to Retribrewtion on my Harley.

Handsome was nowhere to be seen. Possibly a good thing since he’d apparently ratted me out to the veep of the MC.

Dickwad.

No one questioned my presence when I walked inside the brewery. Also a good thing. Weaving through the bottom floor, I glared at anyone who gave me a second look. I took the steps, knocked on Maddy’s door, entered before she answered.
She sat at her desk wearing . . . glasses.
“Glasses?”
“Hello to you too.”
“Glasses?”
“I was running late this morning. Didn’t have time for contacts.” She bent over her paperwork, aaaand her blouse was revealing enough I could see the creamy dip of her cleavage.
“I like the glasses.”

Fuck, do I ever.

“I’m working.” A smile curved the corner of her lips. But she didn’t look up.
The glasses were small and square and fancy.
Immediate hard-on.
“I see that.”

Hot.

Single-minded and sexy as fuck.
Loved it.
“What’s this? No babies today?” She flipped a folder over and typed some shit into her computer.
“No babies.” I closed the door. Locked it. “Just me. I missed you yesterday.”
Color flooded her face, a face she kept bent down. “How much?”
“Tons.” Christ. I loved doing this with Maddy. The cat and mouse when I’d already caught her. “Got a surprise for you. To say thanks for helping with Ma.”
Her eyes darted up from some paperwork she’d just signed and fastened on my groin. “Is it a big package?”
“What?” . . . Oh . . . She wanted to fuck . . .
I could work with that.
I took off my jacket, shrugged off my shirt. Tested the doorknob to make sure no one would disturb us.
Then I stalked.
Maddy, my prey. My love. My lover. In heels, a blouse, a skirt. And those damn sexy glasses.
“I have a strict policy about not fucking in the workplace.” She backed away, her slanted smile and tilted hips nothing but pure invitation.
“Do you now?” I released the zipper on my black leathers. “You want a big package?” I shucked the leathers to midthigh, then pounced at Maddy, not that she was running away.
My lips swooping to hers for a deep wet kiss, I scooped her onto the desk.
Cock freed, I stroked the thick hard length just once. Once was enough.
Maddy nodded, unbuttoning her blouse.
I flicked the front clasp of her bra, her tits—firm, high, and supple—tumbling out. She started taking off the glasses.

“Uh uhn. Leave those on.” Pulling a pert nipple into my mouth, I ran my thumb repeatedly across the other peaked bud.

Maddy grasped the back of my head, twisting her fingers in my hair. I drew back only to lick across the mound of her breasts and onto the other nipple. Hitching her skirt up and up, I ruched it to her waist.
I cupped her pussy with my whole palm, feeling heated warmth seeping from inside.
She moaned and arched into me, guiding my mouth to hers. “Hurry. I’m ready.”
“Yeah? Hot to fuck me, sweetness?” I delved deeper into her mouth again, sliding my dick along the slickness of her panties.

Release Tour ~ Perfect Match ~ by ~ Alexis Alvarez

Title: Perfect Match
Author: Alexis Alvarez
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: November 6, 2017
Cover Artist: Jessica Hildreth
Cover Photographer: Wander Aguiar
Cover Model: Jacob Cooley

She’s the matchmaker…he’s her sexy client. What could go wrong?

Fia Martin has a tough job: Find the perfect woman for arrogant, handsome Dylan Chambers, before her rival can do it––on national television. If Dylan declares her the winner, Fia’s match-making business will skyrocket.

Dylan is picky. He’s smug. He reminds Fia that he doesn’t believe in true love. The dates she sets up for him end in complete disaster. And every time she tells him to behave, he flirts with her shamelessly.

A stolen kiss turns to a night of unbelievable passion and the best sex of her life…but Fia knows that Dylan’s not interested in more than a fling, because he’s still going on dates for the challenge like nothing happened.

When Dylan chooses her competitor’s company for his final dream date in Hawaii, to a woman who looks perfect on paper, Fia figures she can kiss the trophy goodbye. The problem is that she’s about to lose her heart, too…to the one man who’s completely unavailable.

“Well.” He cleared his throat. “So—why don’t you see what I wanted to show you.”
“Okay.” She felt a sudden anxiety. “Um, where is it?”
“Around the wall. Behind that partition. Go past the metal sculptures, and turn right.” He gestured, then stepped in behind her and flipped on the light. It took a while for the overhead fixtures to flash into life, as if the electrons were asleep, dusty, rusty like the sculptures. She could almost hear them sighing and complaining as they warmed up. Something hummed.
Confronted with the fact that she was about to see something dear to him, she felt unaccountably shy, and tried to hide it. “Is a clown going to pop out? Is it that kind of weird performance art? There better not be a clown.”
“There aren’t any clowns.” His voice was taut. He crossed his arms. “Go ahead, then, if you’re so eager.”
“Okay. I’m going.” She looked back at him once, then walked ahead.
She walked forward past the rusted metal amalgamations, meldings of gears and beam shards that did nothing for her but raise questions and disappointment.
When she turned the corner, she sucked in her breath, confronted with things so magnificent that she, at first, didn’t think they were real. A low metal table held a collection of orbs, some of glass, shining, other metal. Different sizes and shapes, some oblong, some spherical, they glowed with a presence, calling her forward. They were otherworldly, gorgeous, strange, and hypnotic. The colors! Such swirls and whorls, like each one was an entire planet, but also maybe something like a seed, a flower, an ocean.
“These—are yours?” They were like the things in his house, the ones she’d admired.
He came up behind her. “Yes.”
“Can I touch?” She felt the raw need to come closer. “God. These are amazing.”
“Every sculpture in here can be touched.”
She reached out to the closest orb. “Can I pick it up?”
“If you can lift it.” His voice held amusement.
She struggled in vain to pick up a large sphere, moved to a smaller, fist-sized one. It was surprisingly heavy, a bowling ball in her palm. “What’s this made of?”
“What’s it made of?” His voice held a smile. “My heart.” But despite the expression, his eyes were ferocious, serious, rapt, as he watched her touch.
She held the small one in both hands, pressed to her chest. “I want it. I want to own this. It’s beautiful.” She looked at it, moved it around to examine all the parts of it. “I don’t want to stop looking at it. I want to eat it. Absorb it. Have it in my house, so I can see it all the time.”
He gave a short laugh, and she could swear that her praise made some tension drain out of him. He looked looser, lighter, like a weight was lifted from him. “Don’t overdo it. Maybe you just like them because you hated Anthony’s stuff so much.”
She shook her head. “No. I could have walked past the Sistine Chapel and I’d still love these.” She put it down and stroked it. “It feels warm! Alive. Smooth. Tingly, sort of. How did you do that? And how do you make it shine?” She tilted her head. “I love the way they catch the light.”
“Secret of the trade,” he said, his voice low. “I’ll never tell.”
“I love them.” The words came all at once, in a rush, and it was true, and she knew it was true. These things, these spheres, they were singing to her, all of them, a wordless tune that hit her in her soul. She looked up and met his eyes. “I love them.” Her voice was hushed.
He smiled, and it lit up the harsh planes of his face, made his eyes glow. “So do I.”
He stepped in and she felt the warmth of his body as he intruded into her personal space, and she leaned in just slightly, as if to encourage him to come further, to keep coming until they were only atoms apart. She smelled his faded cologne and his own masculine scent, mixed with the odor of paint and wood in the warehouse. She could see his tendons when he swallowed. His eyes were gorgeous.
“So we have something in common.” Her voice came out breathy and low.
“A miracle.” He smiled, and his dimple showed. She nearly melted. His face was so close! “Although I think we have more than a few things in common at this point, Fia.”
“I guess we do.” When he reached for her, she didn’t resist, and when he stood her in front of him and undressed her with his eyes first, before unzipping her dress and silently pulling it down the curves of her body, she acquiesced.
The only thing she said was, “Here?” glancing around the vast space, the corners dark and foreboding, as if strange things, colorful magical things might be hiding there, alert and untrustworthy. But the light in the center shone down like a spotlight, accentuating his features and making his eyes shine.
He nodded. “Right here.” He pointed to a chaise lounge under the lights, blue, velvety.
“It’s like we’re on a stage.” She felt as if they were in a strange theater.
“Nobody will watch. It’s just us.” His voice was low. He stripped off his shirt, took off his jeans and boxers. Nude, with the lighting creating highlights and shadows on his body, he looked mysterious, chiseled, a perfect Greek sculpture, each muscle just so, his face gorgeous and powerful.
She slid off her lacy thong and tossed it aside, and faced him, naked. The look in his eyes almost scared her; he was so fierce, so raw.
“You want to play by my rules again?” he murmured, walking around her. He picked up her hair and fisted it, then kissed her neck.
She shuddered at the touch of his lips. “Yes,” she whispered. She stood still, like a statue herself. She wondered if the lights flickered and gleamed on her skin like on his, whether he saw her like a living piece of art, too.
“You want me to be your master again, right here, right now?” His grip tightened on her hair, not painful, but she was definitely aware of his strength.
“Yes.”
At that, he snaked one arm around her flat stomach and pulled her against him. She sucked in a breath when she felt his hard cock pressing into the seam of her ass. With his other hand, he dropped her hair, letting it flow back over her shoulders, and gripped her neck, firmly but not too tightly, and pulled her into his head that way, too. They stood that way for a minute, just breathing, his hands hot on her throat and belly. His cock twitched and she pushed her buttocks back into his body, wanting more.
“Do you trust me?” His voice was low.
“Yes.”
“Completely?”
“Yes.” It was true.
“Good.” He released his grip. “Please go over to the chaise and lie down on your back. Close your eyes.”
She started to vibrate with excitement and felt moisture seep down her thighs. Just imagining what he was going to do, how he might tease her in terrible and delightful ways, made her body hum with eager anticipation.
She walked over, swaying her hips, and arranged herself as gracefully as possible. She shot one look at him before letting her lids shut: He was stalking toward her, that feral look, his body so strong and sexy—that was the last image she captured before she closed her eyes, and that picture stayed floating behind her eyelids, flickering in and out.
Her pulse accelerated as she heard him approach, and she flinched slightly when he touched her hair.
“Relax.” His voice held humor. “I’m not going to hurt you…yet.”
“Dylan?” She squeezed her eyes shut.

Blog Tour & Review ~ The Other Brother ~ by ~ Meghan Quinn

THE OTHER BROTHER by Meghan Quinn is finally here! Check out the excerpt and teasers!

THE OTHER BROTHER
NA Romantic Comedy
Model: David Harris
PREORDER HERE:
I got the call. The dreaded call every child fears. My dad wasn’t well, and the man who had always been my everything needed me.
There was only one thing to do; pack up and head back to my hometown. I had finally made my dream life in the city with the great job and loving boyfriend. But was there really a choice not to go?
I found a wonderful job, a quaint house to rent, my boyfriend was working on joining me in Binghamton, and my favorite pizza place was only miles away. Life was good.
Until I met my neighbor.
It’s been three years since I’d seen Aaron Walters, and my God is he all kinds of sexy gorgeous. Figures. He was supposed to be my forever, the man I grew old with, but he had different plans. How can a man who ripped my heart apart still trip me up? How can he make me still want him now more than ever?
I’m tempted, I’m drawn toward him, I’m completely and utterly unaware that I’m dating his biological brother.
Now two men own my heart. The question is, which brother will I choose?
EXCERPT:

Why? Why does he have to magically appear in my life? Moving back to Binghamton, I thought about the possibility of maybe running into him, but I thought it unlikely, something that would never really happen.

Boy, was I wrong.

What a sick joke life is playing on me.

Aaron Walters, the boy who broke me into pieces is my neighbor.

I can’t fathom the impact I feel already.

Seeing him in hip-hugging jeans and a tight, plain shirt did a number on me. It kept me up all night as memories of what we used to have flooded my mind.

His voice.

His stature.

The way he used to kiss my neck.

The way I felt so protected in his arms.

Too bad his arms couldn’t protect me from his devastating, heart-breaking self.

And hell, he looked good. Too good.

He’s always been tall with handsome features and a chiseled jaw, but now he’s bulked up to the point that I could see his abs flexing under his shirt, the same shirt that stretched over his biceps.

But it wasn’t his muscles or handsome features that once again made my heart ache, it was those eyes. So bright, so blue, so kind, but still so sad. It reminded me of the first day I met him, of the day he stole my heart from every other man on the market.

Broken, unsure, yet yearning for love. It was all there, and like experiencing a moment of déjà vu, I was transported back into a time when I felt invisible, like I could conquer anything with him at my side.

Once again, I was wrong.

Six million stars for this one by Meghan Quinn! I had to break this book up into different days (I did have to sleep – stupid day job). But after diving through almost 80% of the book today, I can say this might be one (if not THE) favorite of Meghan Quinn’s books. At least in my opinion.

My one overarching thought as I read this: I’m SO glad book bestie Julie (aka Ginger Snaps) read this book before me so I could talk it over with her as I read it! And I might have even PM’d Meghan Quinn herself and telling her that I love this book! And Aaron! And everything about this book!

A quick rundown for those that want to read a reviewer’s synopsis: Amelia gets a call home because her dad wasn’t doing well. So she packs up her life away from her live-in boyfriend to move home and be close to her dad. One snag; her neighbor is her ex boyfriend and unknowingly, her current BF’s brother. Imagine all the craziness.

And that’s all I’m saying about that. This book made me laugh, snort, tear up and fall so far into love with Aaron it’s not even funny. This book had a personal link for me but I won’t say what in this review. You will recognize some of Aaron’s friends from previous MQ books, so you get to see them again and their hilarity.

Totally a book I will re-read and always recommend to people when they need a truly good story.

5 stars!

About the Author:

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

As she opened her mouth to say goodbye and thank him for joining her, Colin asked her if she’d have dinner with him.

Her heart skipped a beat. The way he was looking at her… he didn’t want the day to end yet either. Maybe he was ready for more than she thought? “Dinner? But you just spent all weekend with me.” She tossed him a playful grin as she joked, “Aren’t you tired of me by now?”

“No,” he said. The corners of his mouth turned up, a hint of sheepish and a lot of sexy. He stood there patiently, just gazing down at her.

Her heart fluttered. God, he was adorable. A knotted up burly bear with a sweet, kind heart. And lips she was dying to taste. And beautiful blue eyes that showed there was so much more on his mind than the short, polite things he said.

The noises of the city—cars driving, people walking by and talking, horns and shouts on the air—seemed to fade away as she stared back at him.

“I have to admit,” he said quietly, “I do enjoy your company.”

Delight and want made her stomach give a wobbly flip. She finally gave in to the impulse she’d been squelching all day. She dropped her duffel bag to the ground by her feet, placed her hands on his shoulders, and stood on her tiptoes to sweetly brush her lips across his.

“What are you doin’?” he whispered against her mouth, his eyes wide.

“Kissing you in the middle of Dublin.” She pressed her lips to his softly and his breath

hitched. Loving that, she did that again, lips brushing against his with a feather’s touch.

“Confession: I’ve been wanting to kiss you all day.”

“Is that so?” Amazement sparked in his eyes. His hands slowly lifted to her face.

“Mm hmm.” Her heart started racing, adrenaline coursing through her. His fingertips stroked her cheeks as his gaze locked with hers.

She kissed him again, still soft and gentle, still testing, gaging his reactions. His body was tense, holding back, but his eyes revealed how much he wanted her. As usual, there was so much going on in those bright blues… but right now, desire was the winner there, clear as day. It gave her a rush and she shivered from it.

“Actually,” she said, “the full truth is, I’ve been wanting to kiss you for weeks.”

His gaze burned into her. His hands slowly swept along her jaw, then cupped her face.

“Well… if we’re being truthful, I’ve been wantin’ to kiss you for weeks too.”

“Then you should,” she whispered, smiling up at him. “I mean, I already kissed you first…”
