My name is Nathan Reines… and I’m a voyeur. Yes, I like to watch people have sex. Witnessing the desire on their faces as they writhe in pleasure makes my blood hotter than the hottest flame. There’s nothing more erotic than seeing their bodies tighten and tremble as they balance on the edge of ecstasy. It makes my dick as hard as fucking steel.
I’ve never been tempted to have a lasting relationship with a woman—why get involved when watching from the sidelines is so fucking hot? But from the first time I watched the woman in the apartment across from mine, I knew she was different. She teases me with her soft touches and gentle caresses. She tempts me with her silent moans and sexy whimpers. She excites me, and makes me want more than I ever have before.

What the fuck is Jiji doing here? Why would she come here now, bigger question why would she bring Tish. If they thought for one second they were going to take a walk on the wild side with some bikers they were seriously mistaken. I would paddle both their asses then send them on their way home.
Cutting through the clubhouse I made it to the front door when Dukes called out to me. Veering to my left I walked up to the bar. Where you going in such a hurry he asked.
Danko tipped his beer, to his mouth, swallowed then snickered “must be some new pussy he’s after.” When it didn’t get a rise out of me, or a smile, Danko’s face changed, “Hey bro whats up?” he asked
“I dunno Danko”, “Murph called from the gate, he said Jiji and Tish are here.” Dukes looked confused. “Jiji your baby sister?”
“Yeah man with her best friend Tish DeMarco”.
“What’s up with that Fighter?” “I know you’ve warned her not to come around the club.”
“I don’t know Dukes, but something ain’t right. Murph said I needed to get down there now.”
Dukes lifted his chin, “Right behind you Fighter.” He dropped his beer on the bar, he and Danko flanked me as we walked out of the clubhouse.
I saw Murph, our prospect checking cars at the gate. Parked in the lot next to our bikes was a green chevy nova. Heading that way I saw Jiji sitting in the passenger seat. Walking up to the window, I knocked, she turned her head. A smile broke over her face, she unlocked the door and jumped out. She threw her arms around me “Jameson she yelled” squeezing my waist crying into my leather. Murph came running over from the gate, “I told you Fighter, you needed to get down here” he said.
Tish got out of the other side, slowly she came around the trunk of the car. Her face was in shadows until she rounded the car to stand by the open door. I heard Dukes drawn in a breath and Danko mutter “oh shit” then I saw Tish.
Her face was beaten, one eye closed, blood still caked in her hair. She was holding her left arm close to her body like it hurt leaning against the car door for support. I put Jiji down “what the fuck happened Tish. She seemed to shrink even further into herself. “Woah girl, it’s ok, I’m not yelling at you, relax babe, I got you. She looked up a me, a single tear tracking down her battered face
I passed Jiji off to Danko, moving slowly towards Tish, she backed up against the car door trying to hide behind it, she was scared out of her mind. “Shhh babe I’m not gonna hurt you I cooed!” “Me and the boys just want to get you inside so we can see what’s wrong.” She looked into my eyes for a second then asked “are we safe here”. “Jiji is hurt” “We need help”
“Who did this to you Tish? Talk to me babe, what the fuck happened?”

San Francisco is going to burn if the coveted princess of California’s criminal underworld isn’t returned to her family in one piece …
I need somewhere to wipe my palms; but the puffy skirt of my designer gown doesn’t seem appropriate.
“Avery Capulet, everyone!”
Five hundred pairs of eyes look my way as I sashay down the middle of the glass-ceilinged ballroom my father has decked out with nauseating arrays of flowers, of twinkling fairy lights and enough champagne to fill the San Francisco Bay that shimmers beyond the heights of our palatial hotel.
Really, that’s what it’s called: The Palatial Hotel. Because it’s like a damn palace built on the edge of the financial district, full of Austrian crystal chandeliers and Calacatta marble floors.
It’s unseasonably hot in San Francisco this year, especially since we’re in the middle of a heat wave. People in Southern California would probably laugh at us as they roast through their regular hundred-plus summer days, but in the North we’re a little more used to clouds and fog.
I could blame my sweaty palms on the heat wave, but it’s crisp and cold inside the hotel’s grand glass enclosure. Cold like a refrigerator. Like a morgue.
You’re daydreaming again, Avery.
I take a deep breath and focus on my father’s booming voice, forgetting about the crowd of family and my father’s friends. I feel like a head of cattle being marched through a market to fetch the highest bidder. Because although this is merely my twenty-fifth birthday and not an auction, almost everybody is here for one reason.
Money.
My money.
The money that, according to the antiquated rules of our family’s trust, cannot be accessed by women heirs until they marry.
Which is complete fucking bullshit. We’re living in the age of equality, yet, according to the Capulet decree, all women born bearing the Capulet name would be penniless unless they marry a man of their father’s choosing.
Arranged marriage in the twenty-first century? In America?
I almost wish somebody in the crowd would shoot me, put me out of my misery.
“Think of all that money,” I hear somebody whisper as I walk through the middle of a parted crowd. I look in the direction of the voice, finding a guilty face staring straight back at me. Jacob Goldstein. Preppy guy, Ivy League, all that crap that people spend their lives and their fortunes making sure they’ve got. I went to high school with Jacob, the most exclusive prep school on the West Coast of the United States. He’s been trying to get into my pants since his voice broke and I grew out of my sports bra. Sorry, buddy, you were never on my shortlist.
Yes, I am the only child of the most powerful man in California. Daddy has enough collective money and assets to rival anyone on the Forbes rich list, but he prefers to be discreet with his fortune. If for no other reason than the fact that his wealth isn’t entirely honest. The Capulet family is the Rothschild family of the criminal underworld. Instead of owning and controlling banks, we own and control other things. Diamonds. Guns. Drugs. People. The crisp Benjamins in our vaults might be legal tender, but they likely weren’t obtained through legal channels.
And yes, we own hotels. Lots and lots of hotels. After all, you have to launder the money somewhere, right?
My family has so much money, you could never spend it all. It’s not in any one account, or controlled by any one person, but we have enough money to burn piles of the stuff as tall as this building, and not miss it at all.
Many of the men eyeing me off in the crowd find that staggering wealth extremely attractive.
Me, I learned a long time ago that money doesn’t mean much. Beyond granting you food, and shelter, and warmth, money doesn’t do much at all. It doesn’t hold you at night when your father is still working, always working. It doesn’t help you trust anybody who might be a romantic possibility.
Money doesn’t bring your mother back from the dead after she dies giving birth to your stillborn brother when you’re twelve years old. It doesn’t help you understand why your older sister drowned in your backyard when she was about to be married off, leaving you to inherit the burden of everything she was better equipped to handle than you will ever be.
Money: I’m about to have more of it than any of these greedy fucks could imagine.
And I don’t want it.
Not a nickel. Not a penny. Not a dirty dollar bill.
But for my father, I will take it. I will assume the throne of the Capulet family. It’s my destiny, whether I want it or not.

Today we have the cover reveal for SAVING GRACE by Gigi Aceves! I am so excited to share this new romance with you—check it out and grab your copy Feb 20th!

Title: SAVING GRACE
Author: Gigi Aceves
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: Feb 20th
About Saving Grace:
Grace Carmichael’s world was turned upside down when she was fifteen. The convent became her home. The Grotto her safe haven. She lived, breathed, and learned a life she never chose. Ten years later, freedom came knocking and she took a chance she never thought she would.
Phoenix Hayes experienced a double dose of heartache when death tragically altered his life at seventeen. Being the ultimate warrior he has never doubted a mission. Except for one — saving Grace.
Sometimes to find yourself you have to risk everything including your heart — even your life.

Exclusive Excerpt:
Why did I talk Grace out of going back to the convent? I should drive back and drop her off. But I don’t because I can’t.
You can’t because it is not the right thing to do.
“Look, the plan is already in motion. To deviate now would open us to more danger, okay? I know this is too much for you, but we…you need to stay focused, okay? You with me?”
“I just want them safe. I want your family to be safe. I want you safe.”
I rub my forehead instead of screaming in annoyance. “That’s a noble thought, but you can’t have everything you want. There are just people who need saving, and there are others who do the saving; that’s all.”
Grace scoots closer to the door and away from me. “You have a way of making someone feel so terrible.”
I force out a laugh. “I’m not making you feel terrible, sweetheart. I’m just stating facts. And, sometimes, it’s gonna hurt. It’s gonna piss you off, but know that I will always tell you the truth. I’m not here to dish you a platter of bullshit.”
She unzips her purse, takes her rosary out from a brown pouch, and starts to pray. With her fingers moving along the beads and mouth in sync in prayer, I make use of the time to bury my annoyance.
Thirty minutes later, she puts her rosary back and looks straight ahead, completely ignoring me.
“Are you hungry?”
“No, but thanks for asking.”
“You must be. We’re getting food.”
“Okay, if you say so.”
The thirty-minute radio silence does nothing for my patience.
I abruptly park on the side of the road, ready to drop the mother of all bombs. “Will you drop the attitude?”
She twines her fingers, rests them on her lap, and then slowly turns to face me. “I don’t have one. I am simply agreeing with you.”
I narrow my eyes into slits. “You’re reeking of sarcasm, Grace.”
“And you’re bathed in condescension, Mr. Hayes.”
I am seconds from blowing my top when the red dot on the dashboard gets my attention. I look back, and the same SUV is about two limos away from my ass. Whoever this fucker is, he is making himself known.
It’s noted, motherfucker.

“I’m a pirate, lass. What am I supposed to think when I come into my room and a lass has made herself at home, going so far as to take off her boots?”
She pushed against him more, and he did let go slightly, enough that she thought she might be able to draw a better breath, but it didn’t appear that his hold was what kept her from breathing. Struggling to speak without choking, she said, “I came here because I heard ye were looking for the bastard of Santiago Fernandez.”
“And ye claim to be that unfortunate offspring?”
She nodded solemnly. “I do.”
“Prove it,” he growled.
“How?” She wriggled against him. “Put me down first.”
“Say something to me in Spanish.”
He settled her in front of him, but not far enough away that she couldn’t still feel the heat of his body sinking into hers. Thinking quickly on her feet, Alesia frowned up at him. “My mother was Scots, and my father, the legendary Spanish pirate, abandoned me the moment he planted his seed, ye buffoon. Where would I have learned his language?”
“Point taken.” He studied her face, eyes narrowed. “Ye do have the look of him. In a feminine sort of way. Save for that hair. Tempestuous hair.”
Her mouth fell open at the insult. She moved to stomp on his foot but quickly found herself lifted off her feet, arms pinned to her sides by the steely strength of his own.
Fine, he wanted to play dirty. She’d already showed him once she knew how to take down a man. Alesia moved to kick him where she’d had the pleasure of socking him before, but Captain Thor clamped her legs between his thighs of steel.
“Uh-uh, princess,” he mocked.
Though she hated to head-butt anyone for the headache it always gave her, that was her next move. Alesia was fairly certain at this point she wasn’t going to be walking away with the silver, which meant she could at least walk away with her life—and figure out another way to escape the wharf.
Before she had the chance to make good on her decision to crack her head against his, she found herself flattened to the wood-planked floor, and his massive body on top of hers. Every hard plane pressed to the soft curves of her own. She sucked in a ragged breath, prepared to shout at him to leave off, but she found her throat too tight to speak.
“I’d have expected more from Santiago’s daughter, wee sprite.” His finger trailed over her cheek and along her jawline.
Alesia bared her teeth, trying to wriggle free but only managing to feel his body pressed harder to hers. “And I would have expected more from a pirate Captain.”
“Touché.” His grin was inviting. Unnerving. Disarming.
“Get off me,” she growled, trying keep her mind in the right place—the angry place. That was survival. To succumb to his disarmament was to lose.
His gaze shifted to her lips. “Not without a kiss.”
Alesia snorted and shoved at his unmoving shoulders. “I’d not kiss ye if ye were the last man on earth.”
“What if I were the second to last?” he teased.
She let out an exasperated groan. “Not then, either, ye ogre.”
He clucked his tongue. “Shame.”
“Why’s that?”
“Because, lass, if sparring with ye is this fun, kissing would be even better.”
