BLURB: Welcome to the Atlanta Rising Football Club, where the temperature isn’t the only thing turning up the heat…

Felicity Sutherland knows what people think of her. She just doesn’t care. Her attitude is her armor, and it hasn’t failed her yet. Thick skin and working hard in the male-dominated sports industry placed her dream job within reach. And as she vies to become president of the Atlanta Rising Football Club, there isn’t a competitor, or a distractingly handsome co-worker, that can get in her way.

The only games Gunnar Gracin has time for are the ones he coaches on the pitch. But life just keeps bending the ball, especially where the women in his life are concerned. The death of his wife over a decade ago was a devastating loss. Discovering an adult daughter from an encounter he doesn’t remember changed all the rules. And working for the frosty, sharp-tongued Felicity is downright infuriating.

But as Gunnar and Felicity spend more time together, the tension between them sizzles like a hot summer night. And the moment Gunnar gets a taste of Felicity’s smart mouth, he decides to throw the playbook out the window. If no one knows what they’re up to, giving in to temptation doesn’t feel so out of bounds. That is, until life gets in the way and the whistle is blown. Will it be a red card for Gunnar and Felicity’s secret romance?

Out of Bounds is a standalone enemies-to-lovers, age gap contemporary romance. Enjoy it on its own, or as part of the series, with no cheating and a guaranteed HEA!

Pediatrician Dr. Pasha Young likes her routine, busy life. Her job is meaningful and she’s good at it. But when Heath enters her world—all long blond hair and midnight blue eyes—she realizes everything she’s been missing.
Former special operative and now security specialist, Heath Hart has never met a woman quite like Pasha. She helped his family when they needed it the most. Their attraction was instant. Electric. She’s also okay with his no-strings rule. Because he can’t go back down the love rabbit hole. Not after what happened last time.
She understands what drives him. She was there when Dakota Creed got away, and Heath’s need to find Creed and end his reign of terror is all-consuming. Nobody else deserves to get hurt, and Heath will stop at nothing to finish the job once and for all.
But what happens when the hunter becomes the hunted? The devil he’s chasing is now chasing him—chasing them. When Heath’s need to find Creed turns into an obsession, and he begins to slip into the dark, can Pasha muster the strength to pull him back into the light in time? “The book gets wildly intense and had me biting my nails! The suspense was killing me. They way this book ends is absolutely perfect. This author never fails to amaze me. Another bestseller!” (Nora Houston ~ Amazon Reviewer)

“The things he’s done, the things he’s seen, who wouldn’t have a dark heart. Betrayed by someone you loved will make you darker. Can Heath find the light or will the dark just get darker? A read that will keep you on the edge.” (Vickie Komarek, Amazon Reviewer)

“A few laugh out loud moments, more than a few suspenseful times and a lot of hot times. What more could you ask for?.” (Sue Hancock~ Goodreads Reviewer)

She headed to her en suite bathroom, tossing a look at him over her shoulder. A look that made him wish his phone was within reach because he’d make that image his wallpaper. “You coming?” she asked.

“Hate to see you leave, but love to watch you go,” he said standing up and following her into the bathroom.

She turned on the water for the shower and let it heat up, then she went about wrapping up her bandaged finger with cellophane. Once she was done, she looped her arms over his shoulders and lifted up onto her tiptoes so they were more at eye level.

He thought she was going to say something. A tease or a joke about the sex they’d just had, but she didn’t.

She stood there, breathing in his breath and staring into his eyes.

What was she looking for?

Did she want more from him?

More of him?

She couldn’t have it.

Nobody could.

He had nothing more to give her.

Christina had stripped him of everything else he could possibly give a woman. Taken his trust, his love, his belief in happily ever after.

He gave Pasha everything he had left. Everything he could, and if she asked for more, then he’d have to say no and watch the disappointment fill her eyes.

And the thought of doing that gutted him.

After a moment of uncertainly, waiting for her to say something, he growled and cupped the back of her head, taking her mouth in a need-driven kiss. He needed to get things back to where they’d been, not to where he feared they were headed, which was her asking him for more.

A Canadian West Coast baby born and raised, Whitley is married to her high school sweetheart, and together they have two beautiful daughters and a fluffy dog. She spends her days making food that gets thrown on the floor, vacuuming Cheerios out from under the couch and making sure that the dog food doesn’t end up in the air conditioner. But when nap time comes, and it’s not quite wine o’clock, Whitley sits down, avoids the pile of laundry on the couch, and writes.

A lover of all things decadent; wine, cheese, chocolate and spicy erotic romance, Whitley brings the humorous side of sex, the ridiculous side of relationships and the suspense of everyday life into her stories. With single dads, firefighters, Navy SEALs, mommy wars, body issues, threesomes, bondage and role-playing, Whitley’s books have all the funny and fabulously filthy words you could hope for.

New Release ~ You’re Still the One ~ by ~ Erika Kelly

Title: You’re Still the One

Series: A Calamity Falls Small Town Romance
Author: Erika Kelly
Genre: Steamy, Small Town, Contemporary Romance (stand alone)
Release Date: July 8, 2021

✔️ Hot, inked, motorcycle-riding hero
✔️ Sexy wedding planner with a whole lot of explaining to do
✔️Steamy, small town romance
✔️Second chance romance
✔️And lots and lots of make-up sex

When Stella Cavanaugh gets the chance to come home after a seven-year, self-imposed exile, she takes it. She was born to be a wedding planner, and she hopes creating her sister’s wedding might just earn her redemption with her family.

The only thing holding her back is the fear of running into Griffin James, the love of her life. Because she not only hurt her family, she destroyed their relationship. Burned it right to the ground. And she just doesn’t know if she can bear to find out he’s moved on. She sure hasn’t.

Griffin James has a roommate. The fourteen-year-old’s staying with him while his dad’s on deployment. Sounds simple, but the boy’s grandparents are looking for any excuse to pull him out of the clutches of the big, tattooed owner of a bike shop. If Griffin can just stay under their radar, everything should be fine.

But that’s just not possible when Stella bursts into their lives. Her sparkly spirit, her big, splashy ideas, and her impulsiveness always lead to disaster. He knew that…but he couldn’t resist her.

And now she’s on the run again, because…

The very things they love about each other are also what tear them apart.

Cat’s Guilty Pleasure – “Man this book kept me on a emotional roller coaster the whole time.”

Goodreads Review – “The magic of Stella and Griffin brings all of the emotions to your heart…tears, anger, hurt, laughter, chemistry and the love of a lifetime. Loved it!!❤❤❤❤❤”

Goodreads Review – “You’re Still The One is my favorite of the Cavanaugh sisters’ books. Griffin and Stella exude passion, love, and so much angst. I couldn’t get enough of them.”

I have not read the other stories in the series, but I love a biker, a small-town romance, and I loved this story! Stella was real! She had such emotions and feelings about returning home after 7 years away from talking with her family, and she is unsure how she will be received. And how she will feel running into her one true love after he broke her heart. Stella seems to have a lot of growing up to do and to address the wrongs she’s done while she grows.

Griffin is not ready for Stella to be back in town but of course, she immediately is where he least expects it and definitely not when he wants it. Although Griffin badly needs the influence Stella has onto his young charge, Austin. And Stella is really what he needed. Stella is truly the fun, feisty, caring, headstrong person that he remembers and how he still loves her and her impetuousness. But that is what Griffin and Austin need.

This story was just so consuming. I couldn’t put it down and now I want to go back and read more of this series!

5 stars!

#PERD-7 Finally, Kane broke the tension with a murmured confession rife with turmoil. “Maybe it’s best if you hate me.” The words were barely loud enough for me to hear, but their impact rocketed through me, crumbling the resolute foundation I’d stood upon. “Best for who?” I breathed. My emotions were so tangled that I wasn’t sure how I’d feel even if I could understand what Kane was trying to tell me. Something dark—a ravenous hunger—flashed behind his eyes just before his lips collided with mine. I breathed him in, instantly clutching his shirt to keep him close as my tongue tangled with his. He kept his hands anchored to the wall on either side of me but pressed his chorded body against me so that I could feel just how affected he was. The taste of his whiskey mouth and the press of his marbleized hardness molded to my soft curves made my head spin beyond the effects of alcohol, but it was the knowledge that I caused him to lose all self-control that liquified my insides. Kane, the unflappable man who shrugged his way through life was off balance because of me. I did this. Something about me drove him absolutely wild. While his lips were devouring mine, I ignored the part about how he hated that loss of control. When he pulled away, chest heaving with ragged breaths, his eyes widened with shock and horror. The disgust on his face doused my veins in buckets of ice. At that point, the truth couldn’t be ignored. He hated what he felt for me. His reaction made me feel dirty and wrong, and I hated him for that. He took a single step back, spun and put his fist through the sheetrock with a string of cursed expletives. White dust and particulates scattered across the wood floor opposite me. My hand flew to my mouth, but Kane paid me no mind. He shook out his hand then stormed down the hall without a backward glance.

She likes to think of her books as contemporary romance with a touch of fantasy—at its core, her writing is about the connection between two people. Sometimes that connection involves a little magic… With Jill’s books, you can count on confident heroines, plenty of steamy tension, and deliciously assertive leading men. There are no guarantees in life, but with her books, you know everything will work out in the end. The only problem is I put my foot in my mouth before meeting her and she wants nothing to do with me. It takes time, but eventually she forgives me and I realize she’s everything I wanted. I snagged a seat next to Derek at the table, my back to the door. King claimed the chair on my other side. There was an agenda in front of me, I slid closer to get a better look at it. At the top in big, bold letters was the name Preston Pierce. I snorted. “Wow, think this dude is overcompensating much?” “What do you mean?” Derek asked, his gaze on the agenda as well. “Look at his name. It’s easily the biggest thing on here. Think he’s trying to make a point before we even meet him?” Derek just shook his head and remained silent, and I turned back to the agenda, my eyes snagging again on the name at the top. I shook my head. I had a feeling this guy was definitely trying to prove something to the team before he’d even met us. We really didn’t need some pretentious asshole trying to lord himself over the team. “You know,” I said, “I bet this guy is balding and has a toupee covering his hair.” “He probably has a beer gut, too,” I heard from behind me. My eyes widened and I froze. It wasn’t just the fact that I was being called out on what I was saying, it was that it was a female voice that spoke from behind me. I grimaced and made eye contact with Derek, who was shaking his head. I was sure I’d just put my foot in it, but I couldn’t say why I felt that way. I turned to face the voice and had to clench my jaw to keep it from dropping. She was gorgeous. Shoulder-length brown hair framed her face and bright blue eyes stared at me. And they were currently shooting daggers my way. I smirked. “Hey there, beautiful. What’s your name?” Her lips flattened into a straight line and her eyes narrowed. Even with the glare being sent my way, she was gorgeous. The smirk on my face wavered slightly, but I hoped it didn’t show on my face. This woman unnerved me, but I didn’t want her to know it. “My name is Preston Pierce, the fat, balding guy you were just discussing.” My jaw dropped and it felt like my heart stopped for a few moments as I processed  her words. This was Preston? Preston was a guy’s name, though. There was no way on Earth the Preston Pierce who was our new marketing director was the Preston Pierce who just introduced herself. I stared at her, trying to reconcile this woman—the prettiest one I’d ever seen—being our new marketing director. Fuck.
I absolutely love this series! The guys on this team and the women in their circle are such great matches. Preston and Alvarez are perfect examples. Alvarez is not the type to settle down and he doesn’t want to. He’s happy with the player lifestyle, at least so he thinks. He’s started to get over the whole different girl every night thing, at least since his coach and teammates are starting to get into permanent relationships. So he’s starting to want something more constant. Preston is used to sports stars and she’s not looking to hook up with any. Especially not one who mistook her for a male, based solely on her name. But she is ready to help do PR for the team and be friends with her new coworkers. I love how each book is interwoven and each of the characters appear in the other stories. I like when a series is interconnected like this one is. Plus it’s a sports romance, which I do love. 5 stars!

My dad takes a sip of his coffee, listening intently as Ella tells him about all the stops her and Uncle Ash took. Apparently, they stopped at a rest stop that had a gigantic rubber band ball in a case, and it had over 3,000 rubber bands wrapped around it. “That’s pretty neat there, kid. I bet it was fun taking all those stops with Uncle Ash. Did you see any animals while you were driving here?” Dad asks her. “We did!” She looks at her hands, her eyebrows drawn down as she counts off her fingers. “We saw cows and pigs. Oh, and horses!” “Don’t forget the llama,” Asher chimes in as he enters the kitchen. I glance up at him while taking a sip of my coffee and freeze mid-sip as I see who’s standing next to him. My heart races as my stomach drops out. “Hey there, Gray.” Lily Dean stands before me. My heart stops as I see the only other woman who can shatter me to pieces again. Something inside of me wants to let her. Seeing her makes me feel something besides numbness. Something raw and visceral. Her brown hair hangs down her back in thick curls, and her blue eyes are hesitant as she stands off to the side of Asher with her hands clasped in front of her. She’s wearing a pair of cutoff jean shorts and a plain white T-shirt, which makes her tanned skin pop. Asher walks over to Ella, picking her up and placing her on his shoulders. “Come on, kid, let’s go see your new room.” Without another word, they head out of the kitchen. My dad pushes up from his seat, coffee mug still in hand. “I’m going to go help them before they cause too much chaos.” He stops next to Lily and kisses her on the cheek in a fatherly way. “It’s good to see you, Lils.” She breaks eye contact with me to look at my dad, her gaze filled with gratitude. “Good to see you too, Mr. Pierce.” “I told you call me Jack. You’re not the scraggly little ten year old anymore. We’re all friends here,” Dad calls out as he disappears from the room. “Lily,” I breathe out. The last time I saw her was at Missy’s funeral. Lily and Missy were inseparable. She’d come and visit us out east every year and stay for a few weeks, and she and Missy would stay up late to catch up on gossip from back home. When she showed up to the funeral, it felt like my heart was being ripped out yet again. It was always Missy and Lily. So how am I supposed to look at her now without seeing the absence of my dead wife? She clears her throat while shifting from one foot to the other. “I didn’t mean to intrude. I was just stopping by to drop your dad off some old truck manuals I found for him. He’s been fixing up that old 1972 Chevy parked in the garage. It needs a lot of work, but I think he’ll get it running again soon.” She’s rambling on about the truck, and all I can do is stare at her. “Anyways, so I didn’t realize you’d be here today. I mean I knew you were coming back home, but I didn’t know it was today. I better get going so you all can get settled in.” She fiddles with the hem of her shirt, a nervous habit she’s had since she was a kid. “It’s fine. Stay for dinner with us.” My mouth blurts out the invitation before my brain can think through if this is a good idea or bad. Her eyes widen. “Oh no, I can’t intrude. Ella needs time to get comfortable, and I’m sure she’ll want to spend time with Jack.” Just at that moment Ella comes running into the room. “Lily, if you stay for dinner, we can have a tea party after!” She squeals with excitement as she puts her hand in Lily’s catching her off guard. Lily looks between Ella and me. I can see the conflict written in her features as she tries to keep her distance from me, but also not let Ella down. “Oh Ells, I’d love to…” Before she can say anything else I cut her off, “Perfect. Ell, go wash up and you can help me and Lily cook some dinner. How about hotdogs and burgers on the grill?” She starts jumping up and down. “Yay! I’ll be right back. Don’t start without me!” she yells while running down the hall to the bathroom. Lily doesn’t move. She bites her lip between her bottom teeth before speaking. “I don’t want to be a burden, Gray. I don’t want to replace…”

Exclusive Excerpt:

The morning after he’d arrived at Fee’s home in Santa Fe, Brooks rolled out of bed and made his way to the kitchen. He rubbed his face and eyes. Jetlag, déjà vu, fuzzy head… whatever this feeling of walking back through time into his old life was, it was unsettling.

The familiarity of being back home… in Fee’s house. The bright walls, the cool tiles against his feet, the familiar smells—her lilac shampoo, the little pouches she called sachets in his room, even the cleaner she used for the house. He inhaled frankincense and myrrh. So familiar. The memory bombardment was excruciating.

Every inch of this place brought forth something. A glance in the living room and he saw them laughing, talking, and watching television. He saw them on the couch, their twisted bodies, moving together, sighing together. He walked down the hall and another image appeared.

This wall. He put his hand against the ochre paint. That day… the two of them wet from the rain, stripping off their clothes in the mudroom, darting through the kitchen and into this hall. Making it two steps before he grabbed her, pushed her up against this wall.

He’d made love to her right here. And when they were done, she laid a hand along his jaw, looked into his eyes, and told him for the first time, “I love you.”

He hadn’t been able to breathe for the joy of it, the wonder of her loving him. Like a disbelieving idiota, he’d blurted, “Promise?”

She’d offered him her pinky. “Pinky swear.”

He’d shaken his head. “What I feel for you is too big for a pinky swear.”

Her eyes had misted. “Promise?”

“Promise forever,” he’d said. And that had become the way they’d said “I love you” for the rest of their relationship.

Damn it. The ache of loss thickened his throat. He pushed off the wall and strolled into a sunny, yellow kitchen with bright red cactus flower tiles.

Fee sat at a wood table, on one of the mismatched red-and-teal chairs, her laptop open.

She was so beautiful. Sunlight reflected off her blonde hair, stroked her pale skin, and highlighted dark circles under her eyes.

He moved across the kitchen. Hard not to gawk at the perfection of her in that light blue camisole and matching boxer shorts. Those legs. Still had great legs.

Lust flared, flashed, and popped inside like a firecracker as heat propelled through his blood. Easy, there. The length of time he’d been friends-with-benefitting Natalie put him firmly in the no-right-to-indulge-these-feelings category. That, along with the emotional anvil of Fee’s mom’s murder, meant he had to button his shit up. Not easy when every part of this house made him long for what had been. But this wasn’t about his feelings; it was about hers. “Buenos días, Fee.”

She looked up. “I left a cup out for you.”

The dart of her briskly tossed words burst his fond-memories bubble, jarring him into the present.
