Caleb’s passion for music—not to mention his Def Leppard T-shirt—makes Skye wonder if she might get her storybook ending after all.

Exclusive Excerpt:
My mouth snaps closed when I finally spot my nephew. Sitting next to him is a man wearing a leather jacket with a Def Leppard T-shirt peeking through. He’s holdaing a guitar and showing Eli how to make a chord. My heart starts to pound as I watch the new music teacher interact with Eli and the rest of the kids. He’s soft-spoken and patient, and when the kids strum their guitars in perfect unison, his face morphs into the most toe-curling smile I’ve ever seen on a man. Suddenly, he lifts his head and his eyes find mine.
“Wow,” I whisper.
He doesn’t look like a teacher. He looks like a rock star, with his grungy clothes and his jet-black hair that’s just long enough to curl around the nape of his neck.
When class is dismissed, the mothers rush toward the new music teacher, shaking his hand and offering their business cards, just in case he ever needs to reach them. Equally disgusted and impressed with their blatant flirting—and far too shy to participate myself—I find Eli and all but shove him toward the door. He tugs on my hand.
“Aunt Skye, wait . . . I want you to meet Caleb.”
“Could I meet him later? He seems really busy, Eli.”
My nephew shakes his head and pulls me toward the mommy mob. I’m being ridiculous, I know. An hour ago, I was a happy, career-driven woman who didn’t need a man to make her life complete. Now I’m nervous and sweaty and acting like a girl with a high school crush.
Guess it doesn’t matter how old you are. Pretty boys make you stupid.
I sneakily rub my clammy palms on my slacks just as the seas part, and suddenly, I find myself staring into the deep blue eyes of the new music teacher.
Pretty boys are even prettier up close.
And we’re just staring at each other.
My totally oblivious nephew grows impatient with all the staring and starts making the introductions.
“This is my Aunt Skye.”
He offers me his hand. “Hey, Aunt Skye. I’m Caleb.”
“It’s nice to meet you.”
“Pleasure’s all mine.”
“Eli’s really excited that you’ll be taking Ms. Carol’s place for a while. I mean, he loves her, obviously, but we all understand that she needs this time away, and it’s good to know that he’s in good hands and we just really appreciate . . . everything.”
I’m babbling, but he’s nice enough to stand there and smile at me while I do.
And he’s still holding my hand.
“Do you like music?” Caleb asks.
“She’s obsessed with it,” Eli replies, and I’m suddenly reminded that there’s a ten year old standing between us. Caleb must realize it at the same time, because he loudly clears his throat and let’s go of my hand.
“Well, Eli is an excellent guitarist. I’m looking forward to working with him.”
“Thanks. We’re really proud of him.”
“You should be.”
Eli beams as Caleb pats him on the shoulder.
We stand awkwardly staring at each other for a few more minutes until Eli’s growling stomach breaks the spell. We all laugh.
“I should feed him. It was nice meeting you, Caleb.”
“Burger Palace?” Eli pleads.
Caleb chuckles. “They do have the best burgers.”
“You should come with us!”
Caleb’s eyes dart to mine.
“Umm . . .” Not that I have a problem spending more time with Caleb. I’m just not sure a trip to Burger Palace is his idea of a good time.
“I’d love to, if it’s okay with your Aunt Skye.”
Eli looks up at me with wide, hopeful eyes.
“Is it okay with my Aunt Skye?”
I laugh. “Sure, it’s okay.”
Caleb’s answering smile makes my body tremble in a way that it hasn’t trembled in . . . ever.
I’m in trouble.

This book is something just about everyone should read. It’s the story of Anna and the choices she makes on her route of self discovery. She’s going through a rough time and just needed to get away from her mom, her dad and her life as a whole. So she goes to treat people in Thailand with her best friend, Dante.
While there, she is healing, or trying to, when she meets Jude. Jude is a theology student on the way to the seminary. Jude and Anna challenge each other and their beliefs in what their lives are supposed to be. They fall for each other but then Anna never hears from Jude when she goes back to the US.
5 years later, Anna sees Jude and all hell breaks loose in Anna’s life.
That’s all I’m saying because SO much happens you need to read it yourself.
4 stars!

It only takes one defining moment.
One look.
One dance.
One conversation.
Sarah knows from the second she meets Liam that their connection is more than just instant attraction. It’s deep, it’s consuming, and has the potential to be the real thing. But true love comes at a price.
Fuelled by Liam’s past, Sarah’s issues, and a messy web of family ties, business partnerships, and exes, the combined forces threaten to snuff out their new found relationship.
Will that spark be smothered by outside forces? Or will they be carried like smoke from the ashes and sent spiralling skywards?
Written in Lesley Jones’ usual heartfelt, witty, and emotional voice, this dual point of view story is just the beginning of her Spiralling series.

We’re celebrating the release of HOLD MY BREATH by Ginger Scott! Check out the excerpt, teasers, and giveaway below!
Fractions of seconds can do lots of damage. One decision can ruin lives. A blink can be tragic. And loving a Hollister…can hurt like hell.
I would know.
They say the average person can hold their breath under water for two full minutes when pushed to the extremes. Will Hollister has been holding his for years. The oldest of two elite swimming brothers, Will was always a dominant force in the water. But in life, he preferred to let his younger
brother Evan be the one to shine.
Evan got the girl, and Will…he got to bury all of the secrets. A brother’s burden, the weight of it all nearly left him to drown.
The daughter of two Olympians, my path was set the day my fingertips first touched water. My future was as crystal clear as the lane I dominated in the pool—swim hard, win big, love a Hollister.
My life with Evan burned bright. He gave me arms to come home to, and a smile that fooled the world into believing everything was perfect. But it was Will who pushed me. Will…who really knew me.
And when all of the pieces fell, it was Will who started to pick them up.
In the end, the only thing that matters are those few precious seconds—and what we decide to do while we still have them in our grasp.
Excerpt:
“I need you to stay, Will,” she says. “No matter what…if you lose, if I lose. If this gets hard, whatever this is. I need you to stay until we figure it out. And even then, I just think…”
I stare at her for several seconds, holding my breath, my mind racing with all of my demons, with everyone else’s demons, too. I fear none of it is possible. I’m going to break her heart. Those demons—they’ll destroy her.
But I can’t give her up. I need her to stay, too. Even though I can’t promise it; even though I shouldn’t, I say exactly what she needs to hear.
I let myself believe it for the breath it takes to speak.
“Okay,” I say, bringing her lips to mine, kissing her softly then closing my eyes as her forehead rests against mine. “Okay,” I whisper again.

All is well in Holly Woods.
My best friend’s love triangle is now a happy little circle. My sister-in-law just gave birth to my gorgeous new niece who is the world’s best cuddler, and Nonna’s not on my back every ten minutes about the fact we’re getting married in one month.
Supposedly.
Until the mayor’s niece—our baker for the wedding—commits suicide. At least, that’s what the note says. My gut says we’re talking a different kind of ‘cide.’ My gut also says I should stay well away, and in the interest of Drake’s sanity, I plan to.
But when life throws you an unexpected curveball… Sometimes the best laid plans need tearing up.
Even if you don’t mean to do it.
Happily ever after…
If Holly Woods survives this.
(Twined Bond is the seventh and final book in the Holly Woods Files series, and picks up roughly)
“I think I did last night when I hugged Casey.” He winks at me.
I playfully shove his chest. “It made me think. That’s all.” I slide my hand down his stomach and, in a small voice, say, “I think you’d be a great dad.”
He smiles, pressing his lips to mine. “And you’ll be a great mom. When you figure out how to be an adult.”
I hit him again. Much harder this time.
He laughs, stepping back and moving to the coffee machine. “Stop getting your panties in a twist over every little detail, okay, babe? Take everything one step at a time and let me help you. Instead of freaking out in your office alone, call me.”
“What if you don’t answer?”
He shrugs, hitting the button on the machine. “Leave me ranty messages and I’ll come with cupcakes,” he says over the gurgling of the coffee spitting into his mug.
“And just like that, he makes me forget why I was ever worried about marrying him,” I tease.
He simply looks over his shoulder, smirks, and throws me a second wink.
And an idea flies through my head.
A crazy, stupid, ridiculous idea.
The moment the coffee machine stops, the kitchen fills with silence.
One that makes my idea buzz loudly.
“Drake.”
“Mhmm?” He turns around, still stirring sugar and cream into his coffee.
“What if we did it? Got married. Eloped but kinda didn’t.”
“You’re confusing me now, sweetheart.”
I’m confusing myself. But still… “We’re registered, right? We both have each other’s rings in the safe in the closet. Why don’t we just…do it?”
He stills, but his blue eyes swing from his mug to meet my brown gaze. “Are you suggesting we blow off the ceremony, grab our rings, and go see Father Luiz right now?”

TETHERED BOND

By day, New York Times and USA Today bestselling New Adult author Emma Hart dons a cape and calls herself Super Mum to two beautiful little monsters. By night, she drops the cape, pours a glass of whatever she fancies – usually wine – and writes books.
Emma is working on Top Secret projects she will share with her followers and fans at every available opportunity. Naturally, all Top Secret projects involve a dashingly hot guy who likes to forget to wear a shirt, a sprinkling (or several) of hold-onto-your-panties hot scenes, and a whole lotta love.
She likes to be busy – unless busy involves doing the dishes, but that seems to be when all the ideas come to life.

The crowd goes silent instantly as the THUMP, THUMP, THUMP, and strobes take over. Anticipation is heavy in the air. The tension is thick as the excitement builds, then the plucked notes of an electric guitar fill the room, and I recognize “So Contagious” by Acceptance. Hmm. Interesting choice.Kip leans over and shouts. “This is going to be good.”But I don’t hear him. The circling spotlight found it’s target when the curtain was pulled back and a Goddess dances onto the stage. I know without a doubt, this is Seary! Staring at her, spellbound by her beauty, my mind goes blank and the words of the song think for me. Wow! This is unexpected! My cock fills with blood. One hand instinctively seizes it, trying to choke the life out of it, while the other hunkers down on my drink and I struggle to get a grip on myself. She boldly bounces onto the stage to perform for a crowd of drunken fools, but her graceful movement belies her occupation and I recognize a gifted and talented dancer before me. She moves with the elegance and poise of someone who could, and probably should, be dancing on a larger, grander scale. She is perfection in motion.

Jessika Klide burst onto the romance scene in 2014 with her bestselling series, Siri’s Saga. It has steadily risen to the top of Amazon’s erotic romance list and has made her a favorite among fans who enjoy full length novels.
