His highness, Prince Henrik Stuart, is a slave to his royal status. Bound by duty and controlled by the crown, he fears a future chained to a woman of good breeding–a match not made in love. While known as the foolhardy prince, the thought of settling down isn’t what troubles him. Rather, if he could find a woman who cared nothing of his title, he would give her the world.
When a weekend trip leads to a chance meeting, both Caitriona and Henrik feel a spark between them unlike any they’ve experienced before. To each, the other is too good to be true, but one night of fun cannot be denied.
When she said ‘yes’ to the handsome, green-eyed stranger, Caitriona didn’t know that she was stepping into her very own fairytale.

32 years young… born and raised in California, did a stint in Oregon only to return to the Golden State. Lived that life a while until the Lone Star State called to us, Hill Country, Texas is where we call home, where our boots rest and loving that country life. Living the life with one bearded power pole climbing husband, two little boys that are full of energy and drive us crazy plus a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.

As the co-CEO of Bayou Enterprises, and the eldest of the Boudreaux clan, Beau is the epitome of these. Now that his baby sister Gabby is happily settled down, Beau has moved into the company loft in the heart of the French Quarter to be closer to his office while his own home is built. He doesn’t have time for anything but the family he adores and the company that drives him.
If only the bewitching owner of the herb shop downstairs from Beau’s loft wasn’t so damn tempting.
Mallory Adams is living the life. The good life. The best life for her. After years of hiding who she is, and the gifts she’s been cursed with, Mallory opened her little shop in the French Quarter, offering herbs and lotions for anything from soothing a sunburn to chasing those pesky ghosts New Orleans is known for out of a client’s home. Some call her eccentric, and some say she’s simply odd, and that’s okay with her. She is a bit odd, but in her experience, all of the best people are.
When an old pipe bursts in the loft above her store, flooding her storeroom, Mallory comes face to face with Beau Boudreaux, and she doesn’t need the clairvoyant abilities that have been passed down through generations to know that she’ll never be the same. Beau is her exact opposite; serious, straitlaced. He wears suits for Pete’s sake and probably wouldn’t know the difference between arnica and flaxseed if his life depended on it. But when he touches her, the electricity is through the roof and she’s smart enough to know that a chemistry like theirs doesn’t happen every day.
Can two people so very different possibly find their way to happily ever after?

I turn to look at him and he’s leaning against the door jamb, watching me with lust written all over his face.
I don’t have to be psychic to see it.
He wants me.
He slowly pushes away from the door and moves toward me, his shoulders broad in the white button down shirt, his arms hard where the shirt is rolled to his elbows. His jaw tightens as he gets closer, towering over me because he’s so damn tall, but I’m not afraid of him in the least.
He doesn’t say a word as he lifts his hand to cup my cheek, his thumb brushing under my eye. I wrap my hand around his wrist and lean into his touch, soaking up his warmth. God, I’ve missed being touched.
Being touch by Beau is like being touched for the first time in my life, and I never want him to stop.
He lowers his lips to mine, brushes them lightly, nibbles the corner, and then sinks in for the kiss of my life. He gently urges my mouth open, and licks my lips, and devours me. His hand dives into my hair, and the wall is suddenly at my back as he continues to explore me in ways I didn’t even know existed.
He braces his free hand on the wall above my head, and I fist my hands in his shirt at his sides, holding on for dear life.
Finally, he pulls back, breathing hard, his eyes bright and dilated.
And in the moment, I know. His touch is safe. I can trust it. Him. I’m not bombarded with someone else’s emotions, and I am free to simply feel my own while being intimate with him.
“So that’s what all the hoopla’s about.”
He smirks, and I realize I spoke aloud again, but I’m not embarrassed. Not in the least.
He takes a deep breath and drags his knuckles down my cheek.
“I want to keep you here all night,” he murmurs before kissing my forehead. “So I’d better take you home.”
I smile. He could talk me into staying. But he’s not. And I’ll be damned if that doesn’t make me like him even more.

We fell in love on a beach, got married in paradise, and I carried her off into the sunset. It should have been perfect, but saying “I do” doesn’t guarantee a happily-ever-after.
Two years later, I barely recognize either of us behind the walls we’ve built.
It’s time to bring it full circle. Back to a tropical paradise. Back to find out if we can still make this work.
I’m not willing to give her up, but to save us, I have to risk everything.
Two damaged people.
Countless secrets.
The fight of our lives.
We might be broken, but we’re not done.

Dane and Kat’s story is amazing. Kat and Dane met on a vacation 2.5 years ago and just couldn’t keep each other out of their minds. They date and then get married. Fast forward to today when they’re celebrating their 2 year anniversary and trying to get back where they were when they were so enamored with each other versus the barely toleration they have now. They’re rarely home together, don’t talk, and barely interact.
This is their journey to get back to what they were.

Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She’s also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she’s ever had. Chelle is hysterical. She’s quirky and awkward and she’s just awesome. She meets a total Type A, uber busy – read as had a Bluetooth in his ear and talking on it (and hot) stockbroker whose dog assaults hers in the park. After delivering some quality lines, she goes about her business as does he.
Will goes back to his job, still thinking about the sassy redhead in the park. He gets a call from his daughter’s school about her behavior. Being a good, divorced dad, he heads to her school and what do you know, there’s the spicy redhead who is teaching his daughter in theater science. So what better way to spend time with his daughter than to help the new teacher with the play??
This was full of snort-laughing moments and crazy shenanigans!

After ten years of hiding behind a bathroom door, Poppy Dunne has sent both children to school, emerged from the bathroom, and is excited to release Room Service, a romantic comedy plotted mostly on the toilet.
Poppy writes books with relatable heroines who speak their minds and whose riotous inner dialogue reflects their complex characters. Her goal is to deliver a story that has equal parts heart, romance and humor. Her heroes are swoon worthy, yet hold on to your suspension of disbelief, because they pick up their own socks and cook.
In her free time, she looks for hobbies other than Netflix and procrastinating to fill out this author bio. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and children.
“Wow. This book is beyond amazing. Believe me, when I say it. Just believe me and read this story. You won’t be disappointed.
I’ve read a lot of books about grief and loss but this book is one of the most complete, most amazing books ever. It’d be so easier to say I’m totally speechless. This story totally took my breath away. It was my first book from Heidi Lis, but if I knew she writes with such a power, I’d grabbed her other stories way more earlier. Her writing style is hands down amazing. The way she built up the story…well, let me say my jaw hit the floor, not just once. There were times where I was gasping for air, I just didn’t know what will happen with the characters. I was totally under a spell. I practically couldn’t put it down. (And I really did not put it down.)
My heart, that poor thing, was broken into a million pieces. But then came Heidi Lis, and she put the pieces together again. And again.
I’m just gonna leave my mumbling here. I can’t form any coherent thoughts. It was not my last book from this author. And it was not the last time I read THIS story. A must-read, people, the biggest must-read of the year. Mark my words.” – Reader Review

“It is only a short novella, but Mr Mantel has been able to put so much into it that you will be emotionally exhausted once it has finished. BRILLIANT is the only way to describe this story.” – Reading is Our Satisfaction
“What a wonderful quick read. This author puts you right in the middle of the action.” – Amazon Review
“One word for this short story – WOW.” – Amazon Review

USA Today Bestselling Author Kennedy Layne concludes the Surviving Ashes series with an explosive story where the strength of love rises against the loss of humanity…
Van Overton had given years of service to his country. He’d paid his dues and he no longer needed to put his life on the line. He could live out the rest of his days doing what he did best—making money from inside the heart of the world’s fastest paced financial system.
Allie James had wished time and again for something—anything—to happen just so she didn’t have to open another eviction notice. She adored the hustle and bustle of the city, her cozy apartment in a good neighborhood, and the rugged looking man across the hall wasn’t half bad to look at either. Regrettably, she’d been thinking more along the lines of winning the lottery than an approaching apocalypse.
Van should have known his luck wouldn’t hold out, but a supervolcano eruption? It was a good thing his time in the military had taught him to be ready for just about anything. Unfortunately, his next-door neighbor didn’t fit into anyone’s idea of a survival plan. Allie was everything he tried to avoid in a woman, but she was definitely the one who had the ability to steal his heart.

Allie was a fighter too. Van might not think that right now, considering he’d just witnessed her run for her life when bullets started to fly overhead. But that didn’t change the fact that she’d worked her own way through college, had held two jobs to pay her student loans, and would have done her damnedest to find a third shift at the cafe to pay her rent. She wasn’t a quitter and she sure as hell wasn’t ready to give up this time around.
“I guess we shouldn’t keep them waiting any longer then,” Allie said with a small smile of agreement, letting Van know that she’d come to terms with her decision. She would keep trying to reach Karen while they got underway, but staying here would only delay the inevitable. It was time to go, but she held up his cell phone before taking another step. “Do you mind if I keep trying to reach Karen? We were cut off and I—”
“Your friend can’t come with us, if that’s what you’re going to suggest.” Van had already turned toward the lot of abandoned vehicles, not even hearing her out. The previous compassion she’d thought she’d witnessed had taken a hike and she could feel her frustration building the more he went into detail about why it wouldn’t be possible to take anyone else with them. “I have a limited amount of supplies and taking anyone other than you will only guarantee their deaths.”
Allie refrained from saying something sarcastic, given that their safety was far from certain themselves. She still had a point to make.
“Wouldn’t it be safer to travel in numbers?”
“Is your friend willing to leave her parents behind? You said she was at her family’s farm, so I’m assuming she’s close with them. How old are they? Can they walk long distances? Do they have gasmasks and extra filters? Do they have the strength to do what is necessary to accomplish the mission?” Van stopped and turned so fast that Allie literally ran into him, resting her hand on his chest. He was angry, but he didn’t get to have that right. He was the one who’d chosen to take her along…not that she wasn’t grateful. The choice to stay here and die wasn’t a viable option. “This is a natural disaster of epic proportions, even apocalyptic. Difficult decisions have to be made and I won’t be responsible for more innocent deaths because we made a decision to do what was right for us.”
“Then why take me on as a responsibility when you could have just left me back there?” Allie countered, tilting her head so she couldn’t miss his expression. She’d told herself she wasn’t going to ask, but she sincerely wanted to know what had changed his mind and why he was willing to risk her life, but no others. “Why save me, Van?”

About HARD JUSTICE:
Playing it safe has never felt so dangerous…
Justice Wallington knows how to harness his strength and intimidating size—skills he put to good use first in the MMA cage, and now as a bodyguard at the Body Armor agency. But no opponent has ever left him feeling as off balance as his new client, heiress Fallon Wade. Far from a spoiled princess, she’s sweet and intriguingly innocent. It’s a risk-free assignment, until he’s required to fake a relationship with her in order to blend in.
Sheltered from the world after a family tragedy, Fallon longs to experience life—going to bars, dancing, talking to strangers. Not easy with a huge, lethal-looking bodyguard shadowing her every move. Justice seems like her polar opposite, but pretending to be a couple stirs undeniable heat. And when danger strikes again, it’s not just her safety in jeopardy, but a passion that’s real, raw and absolutely against the rules…
When the doorbell rang, Fallon Wade’s heart jumped into a beat so furious, it stole her breath. He was here. She wasn’t ready, would never be ready, but she hadn’t been given a choice.
Opening her bedroom door very quietly, she tiptoed to the staircase landing and peeked over.
Her father and mother stood before the man, in her line of vision. But it didn’t matter. He towered over them and it’d take a giant to block him. Holy smokes. He had to be at least six-five.
Muscles bulged everywhere. Like…seriously. Everywhere. Shoulders, biceps, chest, neck; he stood in a casual pose, if a brick wall could ever be casual.
Dark hair stuck up in a messy faux hawk. An untrimmed goatee mixed with beard shadow covered a hard, square jaw. And his nose…well, his nose looked as if it had been broken. At least once.
Or maybe multiple times.
Oddly none of that detracted from his extremely rugged good looks, but rather added a dangerous, sexy edge. He certainly looked more than capable of providing protection.
While her father, no doubt a little shell-shocked, prattled on about what was and wasn’t acceptable for his “precious daughter,” the man shifted his weight, crossed his arms and, with polite impatience, listened.
Until he glanced up at her.

Have I mentioned that I love Lori Foster’s novels? Her series’, her characters, her writing have always captured me since I was a teen sneaking her books. Every one of her fighters has been larger than life but also the sweetest and that is what makes me fall in love with each of them and their stories.
After we met Justice in Under Pressure, I knew he was my guy. At least more than Leese was. And how right I was! Each of these fighters is a tough guy with a heart but Justice just was a little more sensitive. He was tentative with Fallon but at the same time challenging her. And Fallon had already determined that she wanted out of this bubblewrap world her parents have kept her in. And after meeting Justice, she really wants to get out of the box she’s been in. And after meeting the other fighters and seeing their camaraderie, she flourishes.
I can’t wait to see which fighter’s story is next. I’m hoping it’s Miles. We met him here and just had enough of a teaser of him.
