Samuel Saint, detective with the fraud division the of Louisiana State Police is assigned to Summer’s case—in more ways than one—and convinces her to go undercover with him at the church. As the body count piles, and attacks clearly meant to eliminate Summer become increasingly more deadly, Summer and Sam end up spending more time together than they expected. Feelings develop, and when Sam’s little secret is revealed, it threatens to tear apart everything they’ve started.
Will Summer be able to let go of her insecurities and trust Sam?
Can Sam prove to Summer he means every word he’s said from the moment they met, before the killer claims the next victim?
