Blog Tour ~ Crazy Pucking Love ~ by ~ Cindi Madsen

I just met the girl of my dreams.

Megan Davenport is funny and smart, and she’s as much of an insomniac as I am. She’s also my team captain’s little sister, which I only found out after our passionate kiss.

Megan is completely off-limits—her brother makes that very clear—and I know better than to think I can keep a relationship going during hockey season anyway. But that doesn’t mean we can’t be late-night friends, right?

The only problem is, love makes you do crazy things, like breaking all the rules.
Oh, fuck it. I took a large stride forward, grabbed her arm and spun her around, and crashed my lips into hers.
She curled her hands into my shirt, tugging me closer, and I happily complied. I dug my fingers into her silky-soft hair, cupping the back of her head so I could deepen the kiss. She parted her lips, and I pressed her flat to the door as my tongue met hers. When she sucked my bottom lip into her mouth, I groaned, my blood firing hotter and hotter through my veins, and my hard-on straining against the zipper of my jeans.
She gasped as I ground my hips into hers, and then everything in my life narrowed down to her body under mine, the taste of her tongue, and the way her rapid breaths made her chest rise and fall, rise and fall.
A banging sound near my head brought me back to my body and the fact that I was outside the girls’ dorm. And one of those girls was apparently trying to get out of the building.
I pulled Megan off to the side, keeping my arms wrapped around her, both to try to protect her identity and to keep her warm, and Angry Girl muttered, “Jeez, get a room,” as she stormed past.
“I have one, thanks,” Megan cheerily replied. “But if you’re not using yours…”
I laughed even more when the annoyed expression aimed our way made it clear how unappreciated the joke was, but then my mind snagged on the idea of taking Megan into a bedroom—hers, or Angry Girl’s, or hell, any room—and desire flooded my system, undoing the bit of deflating I’d managed. It’d been months since I’d had sex, and now that my body got the idea that the night might be headed that way, it wasn’t easy to convince it that we really shouldn’t go there.
No matter how badly we wanted to. And apparently I’ve turned into Gollum, talking in terms of we, which means I’m really losing my grip on reality.
Megan bit her lip, which didn’t help my current turned-on situation. She reached up and ran her hand down the side of my face, and I closed my eyes, soaking in the soft touch. Telling myself not to get carried away.
It was a little late for that, though, and I made a snap decision, which were usually high on the stupidity scale where I was concerned. “I’m going to need your number.”
I opened up the new contact screen on my phone and extended it to her. When she handed it back, I noticed she’d typed out her full name: Megan Davenport.
The last name set off an alarm, the cooling effect like a bucket of ice water.
It has to be a coincidence. Surely it’s a fairly common name. Maybe not as common as Smith, but still.
She seemed to know a lot about that Bruin’s game, though…
And she mentioned an older brother.
A memory rose, unbidden, one that I really wanted to forget, of my teammate mentioning how his little sister was going to be attending college here. There’d even been a threatening glare that’d made me feel guilty, regardless of the fact that I didn’t know his sister. At the time I’d been experiencing a lot of guilt about that stupid bet, though.
I cleared my throat, not wanting to ask, but I knew I had to. “That brother you mentioned… He doesn’t happen to play on the hockey team here, does he?”
Her eyes widened. “Actually, yeah. Beckett Davenport is my brother. You know him?”
Every one of my internal organs shriveled up. “You could say that,” I said, slowly backing away.
You could also say that I was in deep shit.

Blog Tour ~ Rumor Has It ~ by ~ Magan Vernon

Title: Rumor Has It
Series: Friendship, Texas #2
Author: Magan Vernon

A Brand new Standalone, Second Chance Rom Com from Friendship, Texas featuring Country Music’s Biggest Superstar, Eddie Justice and Friendship’s resident author, Brook Carrington.

“Rhonda, pst, Rhonda is that the Carrington girl? The writer who was at the bakery with that country singer Eddie Justice? I thought she was in Austin?” one of the old church ladies not-so-subtly asked the woman next to her.

I rolled my eyes and Clay looked at me with a mischievous grin. Slowly I stretched my arms over my head and leaned toward my brother, not so quietly whispering, “I can’t wait to get out of church so I can go home and get some Eddie Justice man meat.”

The old ladies gasped and started whispering. They didn’t need to know that Eddie and I had only ever been next door neighbors and friends, well until we spent the night breaking a tree branch, if that counted for anything.

I wrinkled my nose, thinking of the way my t-shirt clung to me, drenched in sweat, and how I had to smell probably worse than I felt. “I’m going to hop in the shower first.”
“Want me to join you?” he asked.
“Um …”
He stood up, grinning and slowly peeled his shirt off before tossing it on the couch.
I’d seen Eddie without his shirt plenty of times growing up and even more now on magazines. But seeing the newly ripped six-pack and those hipbones that dipped into his Levi’s, I was practically panting like a dog in heat.
“Do you expect me to whip my shirt off too like some girl in a music video? Because if I did that, I’d probably break something.”
The grin widened on Eddie’s face as he sauntered around the couch until he was right in front of me.
“Then I’ll take it off for you,” he whispered in a husky voice.
I gulped; doing the only thing left to do, I lifted my arms over my head.
He pulled my shirt off as if it wasn’t an old sweaty thing, and his eyes roamed over my now bare chest and stomach. I wasn’t exactly the most in-shape person and my wider hips and skinny waist were something I’d hated in high school. But as an adult, I definitely knew Eddie appreciated the curves when he bit his bottom lip before putting his hands on my hips.
He lifted me up as if I was as light as a feather, and I wrapped my legs around his waist, letting him carry me to the single bathroom.
Eddie let me go slowly, my tennis shoes hitting the tile floor. The bathroom wasn’t the smallest in the world, but it wasn’t huge either. At least the guy who owned the house before us updated it a bit with a stand-up tile shower and a glass door.
Before I could move to make sure I had clean towels and shampoo somewhere, Eddie’s lips were on mine, and his hands made quick work of the button and zipper of my jeans.
His kisses were hot and longing, letting me taste the sweet heat of his tongue as he licked and nibbled my bottom lip.  His hands roaming over every part of me as soon as I was free of my clothes, turned me into a puddle of goo.
I was too turned on to even think about anything but the feel of Eddie’s lips on my body. It wasn’t until he whispered in my ear that I was knocked back to reality.
“Let’s get cleaned up.”
He pulled back slightly to turn on the water of the shower behind me. It sputtered before a steady stream sprayed.
My pants were down to my ankles, and I was still in my tennis shoes, watching Eddie strip out of his boots then his jeans and finally those black boxers.
I’d seen my fair share of naked men in all sizes and levels of hairiness, but seeing the sculpted body of Eddie Justice was enough to make me gulp and I had to hide my staring by quickly removing the rest of my clothes and shoes.
He reached behind me, cupping my ass before his lips were back on mine. Our bodies tumbled backward under the warm water as my hands claimed every part of him I could touch.
I stepped back, hitting my elbow on the shower wall. Damn tight spaces.
I broke the kiss briefly only to inhale a large stream of water and almost choke on it. I pounded on my chest and bent over slightly. Trying not to look at Eddie, I didn’t want him to see how much of an idiot I looked like.
“You okay?” he asked, putting his hand on my back.
“Yeah. Maybe getting frisky in the shower is better in theory than actual practice. I’ll let you shower first, and then I’ll get in,” I said, putting my hand on the door.
Eddie grabbed my arm and whirled me toward him. The water dripped down his face and over his kissable lips to his impeccable chest. “Why don’t you just sit down and let me wash you?”
I was almost too dumbfounded to speak and let him gently push me toward the shower seat.
He grabbed my body wash from the rack showerhead, poured some in his hand, and lathered it up. Slowly, he kneeled down, his hands massaging my arms then over my neck and each breast and nipple until they formed a soft peak and I moaned softly.
He kept moving his hand lower, sweeping over my stomach and then to my thighs. Working his way down my thighs and then back up, he placed his hand on my mound and hooked a finger inside me. I thought he would stop there, bringing my glorious agony to its peak and getting me off with his long fingers. But then just as quickly as his hand was inside me, his tongue replaced it. If I thought Eddie was a master at playing guitar or using his hand, I was way wrong. That magic tongue of his could do way more than belt out a Grammy-winning song.
I put one hand on the back of his head and the other on the glass wall of the shower. An orgasm took hold, and my entire body shook, the steady spraying stream of the water engulfing my scream. But the sound of the water didn’t mask the epic crash of the glass wall completely falling off the hinge and toppling sideways until it wedged between the window and the toilet seat across from the shower.
“Holy shit,” Eddie said after moving his mouth away from between my thighs only to lean back and hit his head on the shower valve. Which, of course, decided his head was big enough to knock that off the wall, and a big rush of water spewed out the hole where the valve had been.
Eddie scrambled to stand up and held his hand out, helping me out of the shower.
I didn’t even know where the towels were and if I even needed to be concerned with getting dry when the entire bathroom would be flooded soon.
“Want me to call my dad and see if he knows a plumber?” Eddie asked, yelling over the rushing water.
“Yeah. You call him, and I’ll call Clay.”
Magan Vernon has been living off of reader tears since she wrote her first short story in 2004. She now spends her time killing off fictional characters, pretending to plot while she really just watches Netflix, and she tries to do this all while her two young children run amok around her Texas ranch.

Blog Tour & Review ~ Arrogant ~ by ~ Jenika Snow

Even a bad boy can wear a suit and tie…

Noah

All it took was one look at Harley to know I wanted her.

It wasn’t about the deliberate sexual dry spell I was going through either … the one I voluntarily participated in. No, there was something about her innocence and her vulnerability that had possessiveness running through my veins.

I wanted her as mine, and I’d have her. I’d show her that although I could be cruel to those who went up against me, when it came to her, I’d make the world bow down at her feet.

Harley

The intern position I had been offered was a once in a lifetime opportunity, but it also came with working for a man who had the most notorious reputation in the city.

Noah Wright was anything but Mr. Right, especially not with his arrogant, unforgiving, and tyrannical attitude. He was wealthy and gorgeous, but he struck fear into people with just a look. They knew who held the power when he was in the room. So did I.

And I was now working for him and getting an up close and personal experience with his cold, hardened, and abrasive personality … and it turned me on.

But there was something else under the frigid demeanor he showed everyone, a slice of warmth he showed only me. I knew if Noah wanted me, he could easily have me, because putting up a fight was not what I planned on doing.

I wanted him, but I wouldn’t be just a conquest. I wouldn’t make this easy for him.

Warning: Love insta-everything in a book? Like over the top sugary goodness? Want your stories dripping with cocky and possessive alpha heroes who only want one woman? Get a fan and a cold glass of water ready, because this story will definitely heat you up.
I knew this job would be challenging, but I’d had no idea working for this man would have me on the verge of drinking every single night. And it didn’t have anything to do with the fact he was so arrogant.

This had to do with the fact my libido was out of control where Mr. Wright was concerned.

He annoyed me, got under my skin, but the way I caught him watching me, looking at me like I was this sweet little morsel he wanted to get his claws into, had my body feeling like it was on fire.

But then again, he was so hard on me, and right now knowing I’d screwed up the file he’d presented to his team made me feel like shit.

He stood just a few feet from me, staring at my mouth, making me even more aware of his presence. He had me so on edge I felt like flames licked through my veins, and I stood on this ledge, waiting to crash down. I wanted him so badly, but I knew I could never have him.
He was my boss, and I certainly didn’t need an overbearing, career-driven man like him in my personal life, right?

“You can leave now,” he said, and I forced myself to take a step back. Could he tell I wasn’t only nervous but also aroused? I couldn’t help it. Being in his presence had my blood pressure rising to dangerous levels.

And the way he smelled … God, the scent was so masculine and intoxicating.

For a second I stared at him, knowing I needed to get out of there, breathe some fresh air, and get my thoughts in order. But I couldn’t move. Instead I took in the three-piece suit he wore, the dark blue material almost appearing black. His deep blue tie was in perfect place, and the white shirt beneath the vest was stark, crisp.

I’d never seen a man so masculine, the epitome of what I craved and wanted, but with Noah Wright I saw that, felt that, so much. It was like I was going to combust.

“Something else, Harley?” He lifted an eyebrow, his eyes heavy-lidded.
God, the way my name—my first name that was so inappropriate it made me hotter—rolled off his tongue in that sexual timbre made me instantly wet. I prayed the suit jacket I wore covered my shirt and that my nipples were hard. Hell, if it didn’t cover my breasts, I knew he’d see how tight the tips were.

And as if he had read my mind or I’d said the words aloud, he glanced down. The urge to cover my chest, to hide my body’s reaction to his presence, was strong. I didn’t want to, but I found myself doing it on instinct. I grabbed the edge of my jacket, closed it slightly, but all I felt was my breasts pressing together.

I saw the way he swallowed, the way his throat worked, and the way his entire body seemed tense.

God, the sexual chemistry I felt with him was so strong, but for the last two months, I’d kept busy, not about to try and let those emotions and feelings consume me.

I’m doing a shit job.

And I was. God, I was doing a shit job.

“No, Sir,” I finally said, smoothed my sweaty palms down my thighs, turned, and left. I swear I felt his eyes on me, and when I reached his door, grabbed the handle, and was about to open it, I looked over my shoulder. I don’t know why I did, but I caught him checking out my ass. He slowly lifted his gaze to mine, seemingly unashamed or apologetic that he’d just gotten caught.
No, he seemed pleased I’d seen him.

Blog Tour & Review ~ Sweet Like Candy ~ by ~ Evie Harrison

Julia Kaye spends her days decorating cakes and daydreaming about finding Mr. Right.  She’s tried it all—fix ups, speed dating, online profiles and even a popular phone app, all with no success.  She’s sure her dream man is out there, but she’s done trying to find him herself.  She figure’s when it’s meant to be; fate will find a way.

Ryan Walters is a workaholic who’s not looking for Mrs. Right.  He’s not even looking for Mrs. Right Now.  Instead, he spends his days focused on what he cares about most— amassing a fortune.  Aside from his sister and her children, Ryan has no time for entanglements of any kind.

What happens when one confirmed bachelor meets the sweetest girl in the world?

Happily ever after, of course!

My stomach was full of butterflies as he opened the car door and helped me into the passenger seat. I grinned after he closed the door and I watched him walk around to the driver’s side. I’d been on thirty-seven horrible dates during my fruitless search for Mr. Right, and never once had any of the men opened the car door for me.

I breathed in deep as he slid into his seat and closed the door. The scent of him was just as sensual as I’d thought it was the night before. Being so close together in the car felt intimate, especially when he turned toward me so he could lay the box of chocolates down on the back seat. His gaze held mine as he did it, the air thick with tension as we stared at each other.

Arousal pulsed hot in my veins as countless seconds passed. I sighed when he cupped his hands on either side of my face and held me in place as he leaned into me. When his lips covered mine, everything suddenly made sense. I knew everything in my life up until that moment had been leading me to Ryan.

He expelled a guttural sound when my lips parted and our tongues touched for the first time. I leaned across the console toward him, anxious to be closer. Never in my life had I been so affected by a kiss. I was a romantic at heart and my dreams were big, but kissing Ryan was more than I’d ever hoped for, mostly because I hadn’t known anything like it was possible. It was too much while also being not nearly enough. His tongue caressed mine slowly as he explored me passionately. He tasted like rice crispy treats, cake, and something else indefinable that was just him.
The console between us jabbed into my side as I slid my arms around his back and held on as the kiss continued. Kissing Ryan was the equivalent of finding an oasis in the desert. It was everything that was right in the world and I never wanted to stop. It was addictive, and I loved it. The entire time we kissed, Ryan cupped my face in a way that made me feel desired and treasured all at the same time. We kept up like that until there was a knock on the window.
When we pulled apart, I turned and found Gina standing next to the car. I giggled nervously as I pressed the control to roll down the window.
“Did I forget something?” I squeaked.
She laughed and shook her head. “No, I just needed to break it up before your audience came back.”

As the title says, this book was sweet like candy.  It was a quick novella, instalove that I am becoming a bigger fan of the more I read them.
Ryan is busy building his company to worry about a female, companionship or anything more. He will do anything for his older sister and his nephew so he gladly goes to pick up his nephew’s birthday cake from Sweet Like Candy and meets Julia.
And it’s love at first sight. Julia and Ryan are both feeling the sparks from each other and are immediately going to spend time together and get to know this other half of their heart.
A sweet, sweet story and quick read that helped my work day breaks be more bearable.

I have read AJ Pryor’s previous book, Right Next Door, and LOVED it! So when I saw that she had a new book coming out, I jumped on it. And I’m SO glad I did! Blog Tour & Review ~ Rushed ~ by ~ Kerri Ann

Title: Rushed
Author: Kerri Ann
Genre: Erotic Romance Standalone
“State your name for the record.” They ask.
“I don’t know.” I never know.

Since the accident I’ve been a woman without a name, a home, a history. I have no memory of the woman I was before and it’s painful to think I could forget about myself. But I’ve decided I’ll find out who she should be. Stepping into the club I have no misgivings about what I’ll like and what I’ll find, but he wasn’t it. Tall, dangerous, hands that roam everywhere I need them to and a voice like silk. I don’t want to see his face, I want him to be a mystery like I am.
One night is all I’ll need to feel, to be caressed and revered, then I can go back to being no one in the crowd.
Fate had a different plan.

I am a fighter. I fight for what I believe in and I fight for the people I care about, but I’ve never been the guy fighting for the girl, they fall at my feet. My club is swimming with sex, women and able bodies to take to my bed, but I don’t. Find your relief, enjoy them and set them loose — anything more and your head gets twisted up. That was my rule.
When she stepped through the door I knew I wanted her, I wanted to taste her and feel her soft body up against mine. I had to touch her. I had to see the colour rise in her cheeks. Did I know it would become more?
Maybe I should have stayed away.

“Another story that I never saw coming! WHAT AN EMOTIONALLY POWERFUL STORY! I LOVED it…” ~The Power of Three Readers

“I love Kerri Ann’s vibrant, strong heroines, and scorching, sweet alpha male leads.” ~Erica – Book Haven Book Blog

review
Keenan is a mystery. To herself and others. She has amnesia caused by an accident and she can’t remember anything about her life before she woke up and was rescued. No name, no family, no history. So she’s trying to survive and live her life and try to figure out who the heck she is. She comes across some fantastic men and couples who become her new family. And that’s how she meets Rush.

Rush is a former MMA fighter and the current heavyweight champion. And then he retired. Now he owns and runs Dangereux, a nightclub, fetish club, and his pride and joy. Rush is a one-shot guy and then he moves on. But there’s something about Keenan that drives him wild and makes him want to claim her.

This story is unabashedly real from the tragedy that causes Keenan to lose her memory to the struggle she has in trying to accept who she is now and trying to find out who she was. Rush aka Lincoln helps her through that, more than she ever knew.

This will take you on a roller coaster of emotions but it’s such a great trip!

5 stars!
With an avaricious appetite for stories, Kerri Ann can be found quite often with her nose in a book or writing it. On many occasion it has been said that she’s in her own world, living in the stories of those she reads about, giving them a life they deserve.

She can easily be found under a tree in the shade, or reclining at Starbucks scribbling notes about new stories and new characters, all while keeping the coffee chain in business.

Whether late at night, at a music festival, or sitting on a ski lift, when the thoughts arise, Kerri Ann will add them to those in progress. So be wary, your antics could be in her next book.

Well, it was, until Winnie Winslow, the new, sexy, stiletto-wearing Team Physician trash-talks him in the locker room without batting an eye.

Now he can’t stop himself from wanting her.

The only girl in her parents’ brood of five, she’s as outspoken as she is beautiful and the kind of woman who holds her own—and then some.

Always competitive at heart, if he’s going all in for love…
Wes sure as hell wants a Win-Win.

Prepare to get a little dirty because this one might go into overtime.
Game. On.

Tiny Tease:

“Leave it,” I whispered as her phone rang from her tiny purse that lay discarded on the floor, groaning and pushing her deeper into the wall before sucking the peak of her nipple into my mouth.

We were in the trenches of my favorite two-person activity, and I had absolutely no desire to add a third—especially knowing whoever was on the other end of her phone wasn’t a model for Victoria’s Secret.

Relax. I’m mostly joking.

I’d been working diligently at the removal of each and every piece of her clothing for the last five or so minutes, but we were so desperate to keep our mouths on one another, the process had been slow going and she’d yet to have the chance to reciprocate.

I couldn’t help it, though, and I didn’t mind that I still wore my clothes. Her skin was like a flavor, one I swore had been specifically designed for me by Baskin Robbins, and her nipples were like the cherries on top. Deep red from my attention and perfectly delicious.

But the bleating of her phone threatened to pop my flawless pleasure bubble.

And I was in no way ready to stop.

Ok first off, I’m not cheating on Thatch but Wes might be my second favorite billionaire, sorry Kline.  I stayed up WAY too late last night finishing the book but I just HAD to find out how Wes won Winnie (say that 5 times fast).

I knew Wes was going to be the tough nut (ha nut) to crack when he was adverse to love when his pals were falling.  Wes doesn’t want a family, doesn’t want kids but he certainly wants Winnie who has both.  And let me just tell you the scenes with Lexi and Wes are just ovary exploding.  You want to find Wes and have all his babies, as long as they’re all like Lexi.

And note, after reading this book, your panties will be drenched!  From peeing with laughter and being turned on!

And Lexi.  How I love that little girl!  She kinda reminds me of the little boy from Jerry Maguire.  But a girl obviously.

8-jerry-maguire-quotes

She was a walking encyclopedia of football stats and facts and just dazzled Wes.

I won’t lie, as I came to the end of the book, I became a little fahklempt and was sad to see this series almost end.  I know there’s a 3.5 novella coming soon.  I have just loved these characters and their craziness and their familial relationships so much!  This will be another series that if I can EVER get it signed in person (once someone cracks the mystery of what geniuses are Max and Monroe), I will.  As it is, I want to go back and start from the beginning and read about Whor-gie, Kline, Cassie and Thatch.

5 amazing, stunning, fantastical stars!

Now, we want our alphas: sexy, scintillating, muscled, and masculine. Forget the castle; we crave their cave. Their love doesn’t come easily, but their ruthless ways leave us breathless…and begging for more.

Happily-ever-after has never been so much fun, especially now. Multiple authors, along with Once Upon An Alpha, have joined for a collection featuring some of the hottest alpha heroes you’ll ever read. Best of all, the proceeds will benefit 4 Paws for Ability.

AboutTheAuthor

SHAYLA BLACK

ShaylaBlack high resShayla Black is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of more than fifty novels. For over fifteen years, she’s written contemporary, erotic, paranormal, and historical romances via traditional, independent, foreign, and audio publishers. Her books have sold well over a million copies and been published in a dozen languages.

Raised an only child, Shayla occupied herself with lots of daydreaming, much to the chagrin of her teachers. In college, she found her love for reading and realized that she could have a career publishing the stories spinning in her imagination. Though she graduated with a degree in Marketing/Advertising and embarked on a stint in corporate America to pay the bills, her heart has always been with her characters. She’s thrilled that she’s been living her dream as a full-time author for the past seven years.

Shayla currently lives in North Texas with her wonderfully supportive husband, her teenage daughter, and a very spoiled cat. In her “free” time, she enjoys reality TV, reading, and listening to an eclectic blend of music.

Synopsis

When a silly, impulsive decision lands free-spirited India Shaw behind bars in San Francisco, she has no choice but to call the only person she knows in the unfamiliar city–the very man she abandoned after a steamy two-day fling. The fact that she’s pregnant with his child is something she’d rather not divulge.

Tech executive Michael Black never thought he’d hear from the quirky beauty after she left his bed four months ago, much less be called upon to post bail. He’s got his hands full with a corporate merger that could make or break his career, but his honorable nature–and an overwhelming need to see her again–means he can’t just leave her in jail. And when India reveals the truth about her pregnancy, Mike insists she stay with him until the baby is born.

India doesn’t want to depend on him for anything, but their constant proximity stirs up feelings she can’t ignore. She’s never desired a family before and she knows a future with Mike isn’t possible…but then along came love and shook up all her plans.
