Release Date: June 30, 2017
Our marriage wasn’t just in trouble—mere threads were all that held it together.
What was once my perfect happily ever after had dissolved right before my eyes.
I can tell you when it started to happen.
What I can’t tell you is why.
And after seven months of watching my husband turn into someone I didn’t recognize, I’d given up hope in finding answers.
So I decided to break his heart
… and he did nothing to stop me.
Warning: Contains cheating and other sensitive subject matter.
WANT TO BE NOTIFIED WHEN
FRAYED SILK IS LIVE?!
And looking at his pained expression, I suddenly get it. I don’t agree with it, but I understand a little better. He’s always seemed so untouchable. A powerhouse of vitality and wealth. He embodies strength in every facet of his life. He exhibits control in everything he does.
Except for this.
It’s not only fucked with his head, it’s also tainted everything.
“Because you’re worried about what others might think of you? You’re worried that I—”
He cuts me off, his top lip curling, “Would look at me the way you’re looking at me now?”
My head shakes frantically, but he keeps going. “I don’t want your pity, Lia. I can’t fucking handle that shit. And I didn’t want you to think …” He pauses, scrubbing his hands down his face.
“What?” I ask softly.
“That I betrayed you in some way.” He drops his hands, staring at the carpeted floor. “I didn’t want to let it become some kind of big deal. I thought I could just ignore it.”
I chew on my lip. “But it wouldn’t let you.”
His head snaps up, and he stares at me for a moment then shakes his head.
I walk over to him, stopping when he takes a step back.
“I’m so sorry,” I whisper. “I never would have done it. I never even meant to …” His eyes darken as he keeps them on me. Hesitantly, I reach out and grab his hand. He surprises me by letting me. I stare down at our hands, turning his wedding band over and rubbing my fingers softly over every inch of skin he’s allowing me to touch. “I’ve only ever wanted you. And when I thought you didn’t want me anymore, I was desperate for you to see me again.”
He lets a sigh loose. “I see you, Lia. I’ve always seen you.” I look up at him then, my heartbeat kicking up speed in my chest. “Even in my darkest moments, you shined so fucking bright. Bright enough to keep me going.” He pulls his hand away. “Until you broke me even more and left me alone in the dark.” He steps back, bending to grab his bag before walking out of the room.
And all I can do is watch as he goes. Watch even after the door has slammed closed and I hear his car take off out on the street. I hear it all before being engulfed in the dead silence that now radiates through every air particle in this big house. And suddenly, I can’t breathe.

I never knew silence could be so suffocating.

Cover Reveal ~ Pitch Please ~ by ~ Lani Lynn Vale

Title: Pitch Please
Series: There’s No Crying in Baseball
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: Sports Romance
Release Date: September 8, 2017
Photographer: Michael Stokes
Cover Model: BT Urella

Baseball is life, the rest is just details.
Everyone who’s played the game has heard those words a time or two. But Hancock has heard them his entire life from his parents. His family has lived and breathed baseball even before he started little league.
Hancock “Parts” Peters has a name that inspires grins across many faces, but the moment those faces get their first look at him, those grins slide away.
Hancock is gruff, filterless, and doesn’t give a crap who he offends. He is the only man in baseball who doesn’t care if he gets an endorsement or not. He’s there to play the game. He’s there to win. He’s there because baseball is his life.
People think he’s a jerk.
And maybe he is. But if that’s how he has to come off to get people to leave him the hell alone so he can play in peace, so be it. The less people he has to worry about offending, the better.
***
Don’t let the fear of striking out hold you back.
Sway Coffman didn’t mean to rock the boat. She was just there to do her job.
Sure, she was a woman in a man’s world. Yes, she beat out several of those men to get the job as head athletic trainer for the professional baseball team, The Texas Lumberjacks. And yeah, she now got hate mail from those men.
But she’s good at her job, and she earned the position.
What she is not good at, however, is talking to men.
Men seem to see her curvy hips, large breasts and thick thighs and automatically think she is incompetent. Because surely a fat girl couldn’t get the job treating some of the most fit and athletic men in the world, right?
Wrong.
This fat girl got the job, and she is proud of it.
What else did she get?
The attention of the sexiest bearded man she’d ever had the pleasure of laying eyes on.
It was enough to bring to her down to her knees…in front of that man, the hot and grumpy baseball player, Hancock Peters.

“Mr. Peters!” Someone called from further down the hallway that led to the field. “Mr. Peters! Wait!”
Hancock looked over his shoulder, agitation clearly written all over his face.
“I’ve already told you I won’t be doing it.” Hancock informed the small man.
And he was small.
Maybe not compared to a normal man, but standing next to Hancock the man looked positively minimal.
“Please,” the man continued as if Hancock hadn’t even spoken. “This is a multi-thousand dollar commercial that we’ve been planning for months. Surely you understand that we’re doing it for…”
“Craig,” Hancock growled. “I am not doing the Harlem Shake. Do I look like a man that does the fucking Harlem Shake?”
Craig, who I guessed was in control of PR, smiled soothingly.
“Parts,” he held out his hand.
I still wondered why he was called Parts, but I wasn’t ever going to ask him.
It was weird, and it was also a freakin’ secret. Everyone in the entire league wondered and speculated why he was called Parts. Nobody knew, though.
“I’ll be there. But only if I can sit in the back and nobody sees me.” Hancock conceded. “And don’t try to move me, or I’m leaving. Capisce?”
Craig nodded his head urgently.
“How much time do we have until we start?” Hancock asked Craig.
“Oh, about twenty minutes or so. Do you need me to bring you anything to drink?” Craig asked, happy now that he’d gotten his way.
But I knew that Craig hadn’t gotten his way.
Far from it.
If I had my guess, Hancock wouldn’t even be in the commercial.
He’d literally stay on the sidelines and make it a point to stay out of each of every shot, just like he did after games when reporters were hoping to interview him.
Then there were the photos that featured him in them.
None of them were taken with his permission.
Other than the one that the MLB used to show his stats during games, I’d never seen one picture with him looking at the camera.
“No, no drink Craig. Thank you.” Hancock waved Craig off.
The moment Craig was dismissed, he hurried back in the direction of the field, a freakin’ skip in his step.
When he rounded the corner, I turned to face Hancock fully again.
“What?” I asked, wondering what that look on his face was about.
“I’m not doing the Harlem Shake.” He repeated.
I held up my hands in understanding.
“I’m not much of a dancer, either. You and me can hang out in the back like the losers we are.” I teased.
I hadn’t meant that either of us were necessarily real losers or anything, and the moment the words left my lips, I realized how it sounded.
“I’m sorry,” I said, holding up my hand. “In no way, shape, or form am I accusing you of being a loser.”
He grinned.
“It’s okay.” He winked. “I don’t dance. I don’t do pictures. In fact, if I had my way, I wouldn’t even be here right now.”
I smiled at him.
“Sway!” Someone called. “Let’s go! We have to sit together in the front.”
Sinclair, the one man in the entire complex that I didn’t want to see, was standing there sneering at me.
“She’s not sitting in the front, Sinclair. She’s sitting with me in the back. We have to talk about what I expect out of her this season.” Hancock rumbled, stopping me with a large hand on my arm when I went to move around him.

I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.

Cover Reveal ~ Bed of Lies Vol 2 ~ by ~ Niquel

Title: Bed of Lies
Series: Bed of Lies Vol 2
Author: Niquel
Genre: Dark Erotic Romance Standalone
Release Date: June 26, 2017

I considered my life to be lackluster.

I craved something new and exciting.
I thought I needed a man to take care of me,
to show me what true love meant.

After countless failures and terrible dates,
I decided to go online, and that’s where I met him.
He was everything I could have ever wanted: sweet,
caring, and a true gentleman.

Linc was the epitome of true boyfriend material
—until he showed me his true colors.
Now I’m fighting for my life in a place unknown;
I’d give anything to go back home.

“Go inside, asshole!” I heard Linc yell at someone. The light was turned on and the brightness stung my sensitive eyes. I blinked to focus, but everything was moving too fast and out of focus.

“Linc, it’s not what you think!” the young kid yelled out.

“It’s not? Did you not betray me? This woman was not taken because of your loyalty to El Tigre?”

The kid didn’t answer.

My eyes finally adjusted and the kid looked like he was barely eighteen. He had long dark hair and tanned skin, and he had on a suit that was several sizes too big. Linc pushed him down in front of me, pressing his skull down with the sole of his shoe.

“She almost died because of you! Whatever they were paying you, I could have paid you double if you were loyal!”

Linc took a sharp hunting knife out of his jacket and stabbed the kid in the back of his neck, right under the base of his skull. His body went limp, but he was still alive. I shook and cried, trying to back away from him. I didn’t want that to be my fate.

Linc snapped his fingers and Yavuz came in to remove the boy. Linc kneeled down in front of me and cut the tape away from my ankles, spreading my legs open wide. He ran the cool metal over my thighs and I was paralyzed with fear.

He cautiously peeled the tape from the corners of my mouth and placed a kiss on my sore lips. His tongue slid in between and I opened up, letting him consume me. This man confused me like no other.

I broke our kiss and looked him in the eye. “Can you untie my arms?”

“I can’t.”

“Why not?”

“Because I don’t know what I’d do if you touched me right now.”

“Well, I’d be gentle. I’d massage your shoulders then work my way down your chest and stomach. I can’t be responsible for what happens next, but I’d need a shower first.”

“I can’t protect you if you’re not tied up and out of sight.”

“Yes you can!”

I didn’t think I’d get him to do it, but he cut the tape from my wrists and I smacked him in the face. He looked at me but didn’t react. I thought for sure he was going to stab me with the blade, ending my life.

“What is the matter with you? If you want me, you can have me. You don’t have to go through all of this. I don’t want anyone else, Baş.”

He stood to his feet and extended his hand out toward mine. “Come.”

I followed him out of the room and up the stairs, and it took us a while to get out of that prison. It seemed like we were walking up the stairs for an eternity then we finally went through another side entrance to the kitchen. This place has more secret passageways than the Underground Railroad.

As we walked up the stairs, my pumps smacking off the hardwood, I saw his wife glaring down at us from above. “So are you two in love now?” she snapped.

“What does it concern you?” Linc replied.

I laughed. Their relationship was odd, but I didn’t want any part of it. Whatever issues they had were between them.

He brought me to his suite and locked the doors behind us. I stood by the bed as he disappeared into the bathroom and I heard the shower turn on. I wasn’t sure if I should go in or wait, but before I could make a decision, he came to the door naked and waved me in.

I stepped inside the standing glass shower and he came in behind me, running his hands down my spine and over the curve of my ass. I heard him squirt body wash on the pouf he’d previously grabbed from beside me and he ran it over the back of me, thoroughly cleaning everything, and then turned me around to repeat.

He washed me then stood there staring at me. His cock was hard as a rock and I fell to my knees. I placed my hand around the base and slid my lips over his slick rod. He grabbed the back of my head and shoved himself in deeper, causing me to gag, but I kept on sucking.

He grabbed me by my hair and brought me back up to a standing position, pushing my back against the wall, and made his way down my body, straight to my core. He lifted my right leg and placed it over his shoulder, palming my ass as his tongue slid in between my folds.

“Baş, I’m gonna come.”

“Do it, right in my mouth. Don’t hold back, my princess.”
